Brilliant , great tour , covered a good range of wineries 🍷

First of all, I am not a wine connesuir, however, the wine in Martinborough is amazing. Perhaps, even better than French wine. Secondly, the tour was fantastic. The tour guide was informative and extremely knowledgeable about the wine and the town. I would not have wanted to taste the wine without the tour because the two complement each other so well. If I could, I would rate the tour and tour guide beyond five star. I could not recommend them enough. When we go back to Martinborough, we will be using them again.

Our guide Matthew was very accomodating and had a abundance of knowledge to share. We had a great experience tasting a variety of wines from different vineyards . Highly recommend !

This is the third time that I have been on a tour with Martinborough Wine Tours and it was fantastic. Trinity is a wealth of knowledge about the region, the local wine makers and about the wine varieties. We enjoyed the sight seeing that was mixed in with visiting the wineries which added to the experience. I would definitely book a wine tour with this company again and highly recommend to anyone looking to discover what Martinborough has to offer. Great knowledge, great people, great customer service.

Matthew is a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Great personality. We felt like we got the VIP treatment. We learnt all about Martinborough and its history. We got so much more than just a wine tour. He could be the Mayor of Martinborough based on how many people he waved to in the community. Thanks for such a fun day out.

We planned this trip from Wellington to Martinborough, spur of the moment. Those who we were in contact with were amazingly friendly and extremely accommodating. They helped us with the train schedule and picked us up from the train station. They even made us a dinner reservation and changed our ride to accommodate! Thanks so much!

Myself and my friends had the most amazing experience on the wine tour. Our guide Trinity was an absolute pleasure and made our time just that more special. We were lucky enough to enjoy a private tour with Matthew in July. It was absolutely wonderful. They provided some lovely extra options and Matthew was an entertaining and informative host. We fitted in quite a few wineries, and the tasting lunch was fantastic and extremely filling. I cant recommend this enough.

We had a fantastic time on this tour!! Matthew was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and we all came out feeling like we had learned so much about winemaking! They worked with us on choosing the right locations for our group, and even picked us up from our Airbnb! This tour is a must-do in Martinborough! 🍷

We booked the Ultimate Food and Wine Tour and it did not disappoint. It was the best wine tour we have ever been on. Matthew is so knowledgable and helpful and goes the extra mile to ensure your whole stay in Martinborough is enjoyable. We learnt so much and thoroughly enjoyed all of the food and drink Martinborough has to offer. A highlight was a tour at Te Hera tasting wine from the barrels. A well managed tour through a diverse group of Martinborough vineyards. Recommended.

An awesome day out seeing some beautiful vineyards and sampling some great wine. Our guide Matthew was excellent with a lot of knowledge and enthusiasm for the local area and its history. One of the best wine tours weve been on!

This tour is well worth doing. We had a wonderful day among some spectacular scenery. Matthew was an exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable guide who was able to give us lots of information about local history as well as the local wine industry. The lunch at the hotel was also very enjoyable. I would recommend this to anyone thinking of doing it.

We had a great experience visiting everything from boutique vineyards in the previously unseen back blocks of Martinborough to more mainstream winemakers inside Martinborough. We enjoyed a full day tour and visited 3 vineyards in the morning before having an amazing lunch at Poppies. Then 3 more vineyards in the afternoon. Tastings were great, and mostly included learning about winemaking too, and we ended up buying wine from every place we visited. We were pretty merry when we were dropped off home. :-The team at Martinborough Wine Tours are really professional, friendly and knowledgable. We highly recommend wine tours through them. Thank you!

Exceeded our expectations. Matthew went way beyond what the tour outlined. His personal knowledge of Martinborough and its history made our 2 days a true experience of the area. Amazing tour, which we highly recommend! Such an enjoyable day that was relaxed, while being incredibly informative. We tasted so many beautiful boutique wines, and lunch at Poppies - OMG so good! We had a really great time on our wine tour. We went to Poppy’s for lunch too, which was delicious. We sampled a ton of different wines and some we haven’t even heard of before. Matt was our tour guide and he was so awesome! Knew a ton of history about the town, the wineries and wine making process. It made our touring experience really special.

We did a full day wine tasting for a hens do which was amazing. We had an excellent host and the day was so informative and fun. We also did an olive oil tasting to finish the day which was delicious!

My friend and I had a fantastic midweek tour with Martinborough Wine Tours. Stopped in at some great wineries, met lovely locals and have some delicious wines to take home. Awesome experience!

Really fun but remember to wear comfy shoes and long dress as the wind can be annoying. Other than that the wine is delicious

We did 2 full days with Martinborough Wine Tours. We were lucky to have Roger with us. He is was an excellent tour guide, an interesting Gentleman. He used to be in wine industry and as the result he had lots of knowledge about wine and also local wineries. They tailored our itinerary for us and they were perfect. Definitely recommend them and would love to join them again!

Great people and service, you can clearly see the passion and proffesional approach to the wine business with them. We had a great tour including few wineries in Martinborough area, some free time for lunch, awesome tastings and shopping options, including cheese shop on the way back to the train station. Ata Rangi, Palliser Estate and Schubert were the best stops according to our flavours and wine preferences.

Our guide was Roger. He took us to two large and two smaller vineyards. It was most enjoyable and informative - he knows a lot about the local wine scene. Highly recommended.
