Pleasant staffs, nice Russian dishes with budget price.

Very nice self serve place in St Petersburg. Good, but not huge, section of soups, salads and mains. Upstairs is bar and cafe. Comfortable seating. Good prices. I had mashed potatoes with grilled veg (very good), saladand glass of wine for less than 12.00$ US.

A much better experience this time around.The staff were more polite and the food was excellent.It is good to see that lessons have been learnt!Well done.

I have been to marketplace when I was visiting Russia during the 2018 Fifa tournament. Its been almost 03 years but the taste and fine quality of the food is always remembered. I will surely try again whenever I am visiting Russia. Thanks for the good food and amazing hospitality. Russia i miss you!

Very good location and has a convenient seating area outside. The possibility of making your own choice is very good and offers a wide selection of possibilities. It is a bit hard to get a seat because it is always very busy. Good quality for a good price

You can just take whatever and will be charged accordingly. Friendly staff, spoke English. Soup was alright but the veggies were excellent. Not the cheapest but neither too expensive. Cozy place. I do recommend!

Marketplace.This is a restaurant located on the street Nevsky Ave, 24, St. Petersburg. The concept of this restaurant is like a cafe where we can eat while chatting or take out a laptop and while browsing.How to order food here is not like in most restaurants where you sit and there is a menu to choose from. In this place food and drinks are sold in their respective stalls as in the food court. If you want to order, you just go to the stall and ask, the seller makes your order bill, then you go to the cashier and pay for your order.Food, drinks and dessert that are sold vary according to your taste. Each food item has a price tag so you can prepare the payment.But on certain foods the price tag is covered with food so its less clear. As a result I ordered food at the wrong price, for example number 8 but looked like number 3. When paying at the cashier the price is different from what was expected.Overall eating in this place is quite comfortable and clean place, as well as a place to wash hands and toilets.

We were searching online for restaurant around Nevsky Prospekt when we found this popular Marketplace. It has Different concept where you pick your food directly and pay at the end (like Ikea). 😁 You can see how they cook for you and you can even choose the ingredients. This place is just amazing, food taste great and has fair prices. ❤️

The place is bit crowded because you can eat good food for an excellent price. We were there 2 o 3 times during our holidays in Saint Petersburg! Excellent!

This is a cute place with a lot of dishes available. It tastes so good! Especially the sweet potatoes with cheese sauce and the chicken with cashew nuts. The only downside is that it can be very busy and crowdy. Maybe it would have been more comfortable if there was a maximum amount of people allowed inside. Id recommend others to visit this place when it is not too busy.

The food was good, prices were good, and service was great. Portions were large. For the price, I was very satisfied. My only complaint is that some of the food, such as the soup, was served warm and not hot.

Wide selection of quality food and at reasonable prices. Compared to Moscow’s, this has better food quality (near the sea after allbut dropped 1 star as:- food at room temperature not heated to be warm enough before serving- ground floor sells food, upper floor has drinks, basement contains seats and toilet- suggest to improve by placing clearer signs on what’s on which floor and to label each store front saying ‘soups’, ‘grills’, ‘salad’ instead of having people walk through every item to figure out.Would still recommend, satisfied!

This place is exceptional. You can buy fresh fruit and vegetables from here and also food. Everything is healthy and fresh ❤️ you can make your own mixed salad 🥗 for ca 350 rubles. Trout was a little dry 🙈 Coffee is also very good there 😍 and good selection of desserts and pasty 🤗 client service is exceptional... Speak English well and help in every way they can. Also have lactose free milk options ❤️

We arrived in St.Petersburg with a tour and were taken for breakfast here. We have been back twice for dinner. The is decor is casual with a vibrant atmosphere and service is enthusiastic. You order and collect your food yourself so prices are good value. The Growler draught beer and the Sauvignon blanc is great taste and value. We really enjoyed sitting outside watching the activity on Nevsky...

Great place, I was walking around the center of spb when I found this place, there you can order several things between salads, meat and fish, pasta and noodles, you can customize the salad as you like. The ingredients are of good quality and the chef and the waiters speak a good English.It saved my lunches in spb.

Great kitchen, good choice of fresh food. Bar with lots of beverages, cocktails and types of tea. Modern design, nice view on Nevskiy Avenue. Highly recommended for breakfast too! The only disadvantage is that at lunchtime there can be a long queue. 24/7 service.

Good soft beef stake only at 499rubles, after the impressive tour at heritage musuem....all you can grab on your ownMost staffs are fluent in English, hope they can understand Thai 😉PS. The beef stake has gone too quick 😆, the stir fried of rice noodle and veggies are great ...a bit salty for me but good mix of spicy from chili (not that spicy but tasty)

An amazing place to relax and relish a wide range of fresh food and desserts. We visited twice there for evening and late night dinner and were wowed each time. Its very popular among locals all day. The late opening hours makes it a easy choice any time of the day. The downstairs buffet cafe like setting is excellent to taste a variety of dishes. We loved the fish and the various other russian dishes. On the other occasion we sat upstairs in the cafe restaurant area which has a different menu too. But we took the food from downstairs and sat there so we could have a drink and enjoy the cafe afterwards. The desserts upstairs were superb too. The staff and service is excellent throughout the place. Very comfortable seating areas. Different ambience in tje different areas based on the mood and the time of the day. But the best part is the excellent food. Well recommend

Great place to grab breakfast (and I guess other meals of the day). The breakfast dishes are fresh, extensive, and very good. Although I was not happy with couple staff members the first time I visited, others were really friendly and helpful. The overall service gets a B-. I found the prices to be affordable -- $8-12.Tip #1: Order an omelet from the first station when you walk in.Tip #2: Get the coffee drinks from the second floor counter.

It was cool and prices are good at all.foods are tasty and menu is wide range at all. The problem for me was the confusion of who to talk and whom to ask :the setting of counters is confusing to some extent. Staff know English to some extent but its not like they understand you 100% :had a good time

As a restaurant owner myself, all I can say is... EPIC! Nice fresh food. I can deff see that they dont use the cheapest possible ingredients here (as some of the local restaurants around). Its a nice sign for sure.Highly recommend!PS: and somehow its still rather cheap for the place on the tip of tourist foot paths.

Nice and comprehensive spread of food, from salads, pastas, fried noodles and other fried offerings, Asian and Western offerings all offered in a self service marketplace environment. Food prices are reasonable. There is outdoor seating as well. Nice !

Pros- good food but not excellent, you choose your own food and pay for it. Not expensive. Decent veggie options. Most staff speak English.Cons- the place is very hot. You eat right next to where they cook and there’s no air conditioning. No cold beverages or cold water. Also the meat/duck was undercooked which can be a health hazard. They need to grill it longer unless you request it undercooked. Tables/chairs very basic.Overall decent place.

Decent concept in theory but poorly laid out. Not prepared to deal with any sort of crowd. Confusion all around. Portions are very small. Staff are lacking and rude. Quality of food is good and mostly fresh (except for soft and soggy salad croutons?), too bad its not better executed.

Everything cold and old, not fresh, the worse pasta Ive tried after several countries. Just a place that looks nice, the food looks good but is a trap, is very average place and for sure not worth it comparing to many others cheaper and better places.

Nice cafe in the city center, delicious food and affordable prices.Vegetarian friendly dishes are labeled with a special sign, there is a variety of them.It is self-service, so most of the time no need to wait for too long for the order to be ready.The room is quite narrow, so when its near full one should be pretty accurate to avoid bumping into someone elses table.

A small marketplace restaurant oasis in middle of st.Petersburg. If you want some variation for normal restaurant experience "please be seated to the table, waitress will bring you the menu shortly", the marketplace offers a new but same time familiar approach to it. Home cooked food at its best. I didnt plan to go there, I bumped into it on the way... I love it! The best roast patatoes Ive ever had in my life, apart from grandmas... Its worth going just to eat there. They have a vast selection of hot drinks... It cost me about £10.

this is my favorite restaurant chain!they offer great, healthy, nicely prepared foods that I just adore. prices are really affordable: you can have a good deal of a meal for about 500rub (January 2018). the choice is great, too. all the recipes are quite classical.my favorite is a 139rub mix-it-yourself salads.market places have nice cozy well thought interiors. of course the ones at nevskiy ave can be crowded.nice piece of business, I hope itll stay!

This is a simple restaurant where there are stations serving different kinds of food and drinks. Relatively fast service. I would recommend the grilled meats station. The pasta station is fair. The salad station has a wide variety to choose from. Overall, food quality is above average. Not a high end restaurant.

The plov was the best I have ever eaten. One interesting thing we noticed: there was a mirror on the wall above our tabel which had wooden frame with very realistic eye. If the eye reflected in mirror there was clearly a face staring us
