Mariana's Authentic Cuisine in Durango

I came down to Colorado fro a weekend and decided to eat at a different place for ever meal but I ended up eating here three times in two days. It was worth every penny!

My band Big Mountain performed at the Tico Time Festival and we had the opportunity to eat Mariana’s Authentic Cuisine. The whole band thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Our keyboardist Goofy has many dietary restrictions and Mariana was able to customize a meal for him. Thank you Mariana!!!

This woman Mariana makes amazing food and she is a true soldier. She cares so much about her customers that she stayed open late night for us. She fed us nutritious food at a good price and we were so happy. We wish she would come to every festival and feed us.We love her

Fresh, delicious, healthy and really personal, she came out and visited with me and my kids and even gave us extra noodles. I’d give her 10 stars if I could!!

One of the best food trucks in town! Our group had the chicken curry, Indonesian ramen, and Indonesian fried chicken, all of it was soo good. Definitely going to be a regularly here. The Chai tea is one of the best I ever had!! Come here and plan to have your taste buds fulfilled and to eat all your veggies.

BEST CHAI, BEST MATCHA LATTES EVER!! Mariana is such a great human and she makes incredible, delicious, CLEAN, organic, authentic fare. Loads of gluten free options. I had the spring rolls and Indonesian fried chicken (very lightly fried and very flavorful), with the matcha latte and chai latte. My friends had the chicken curry and the ramen. Rave reviews all around!! We love Mariana, and look forward to any event where we can find her trademark yellow truck.I’ll be getting my chai lattes here all weekend. 😍

Mariana’s is really AWESOME! She had her food truck out at our event at Tico Time. All of our guests loved her food for 4 days. She changed the menu daily for new variety. Her ingredients are really fresh! All veggies are firm, beautiful and alive. Her seasoning is perfect. Not too much of anything. We so much appreciated having flavorful, healthy, delicious options. She is and Natalie are really friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend them!

After seeing this food van around for a long time, I decided to give it a try. Had to wait maybe 20 minutes, because she was busy, and she actually cooked my order. I appreciated that. I kind of challenged her on how spicy her Curried Beef was. She acknowledged the challenge, gave me a couple of different taste samples, and gave me a serving of Spicy curried beef! It didnt draw tears, but it was very spicy and appreciated. The vegetables were fresh, some were not what you would expect from a Chinese "food wagon" and all were much more flavorful than I was expecting. The dish was as good and better than most I have had at expensive and "Authentic" walk-in restaurants. This visit exceeded my expectations in every way and I will be back.

Mariana stayed late and made us an amazing dinner of curry chicken and spring rolls. She’s a great chef and was super sweet. The next time we’re in Durango, we’ll be back!! <3

Ive been coming here for years, Marianas food is always fresh, and delicious. The owner is very polite, intelligent, authentic and skilled. Would recommend to anybody whose looking for a well prepared meal. 5 STARS

This creative pho was just what the doctor ordered. Loved the surprise of thin noodles, packed full of chicken and veg, and a very flavorful broth. Delicious, maybe the best pho Ive ever had.

We spend a few months a year in Bali and love Indonesian food. Mariana’s definitely knows what she’s doing. The spring rolls were amazing and she was able to make us our favorite dish even though it wasn’t on the menu! Thank you Mariana! (Also, for those of you non-locals trying to find the spot, look for the big yellow food truck!)

VERY DELICIOUS!! We had the Thai Boba, Indonesian noodles, chicken drum sticks, and some chicken curry. It was some of the best Indonesian food that we have ever had. Mariana is a sweet heart and nice to talk with as an added bonus. Thank you Mariana!!

My son and I hiked up 2 the top of Sultan Peak (13erand we were wanting 2 eat downtown but every restaurant had massive lines. So we decided 2 skip dinner and just drive home 2 Farmington, but Marianas yellow truck caught my eye and we ordered our food. My Chicken Pho was amazing and filled 2 the top with chicken, noodles and veggies, Amazing! My son got the Chicken Curry but this being his 1st time eating Curry, he was not used to the blended "grown up" taste and the owner said no worries, order this next time, she gave him a plate of Indonesian Chicken and his face lit up with a huge smile when the taste hit him. I felt right then and there that the owner wanted her customers 2 be happy, and that right there speaks volumes 2 me. We are now huge fans of Marianas Authentic Cuisine! Please come to Farmington now! Thank you all so much 🙂

Took 45 minutes to get our incorrect partial order and refused refund with two people in front of us, I told the owner we couldnt wait anymore and needed to go, she ignored us, then refused to give our money back and insisted on giving us a partial order not enough to feed everyone and made us wait there longer, did not have any drinks after 30 minutes of waiting, paid in full and did not give the money from the meals that she did not give us. Owner is extremely rude and kept repeating "customer is king" at the same time refusing to give our money back and but doesnt have the food or drinks that we ordered. Ended up giving us something we didnt order and we just left. The food base was lots of whitish iceberg lettuce, raw carrots and just a couple bites of protein, we threw out the spring rolls which were soaking wet and a rubber ball. Definitely not going back. Doesnt matter how many reviews you have, test of a business is when they make a mistake- this one doesnt make it right, they just make it worse, rude, ignoring, lying about food times when they know they cant make it, refusing to give money back, and just putting whatever in a bag and shoving it off as their order. No integrity and doesnt care to keep anyones business. Doesnt even care to give you your money back- just takes it. Would not care if she went out of business at all. DO NOT GO.

Really good Thai tea with boba. It’s made with coconut milk and coconut sugar, so wasn’t sure what I was going to think. I love it!

Delicious (in my case- veganfood and Mariana is awesome. I called in my order and it was ready when I arrived. Highly recommend. I was passing through Durango yesterday on a long drive and cant wait to come back and eat more food. Would have it again today if I were still around. Many thanks!

This is one of my TOP favorite Asian inspired places in Southwest Colorado. Everything is fresh and crisp. I never really cared for curry until I tried it here. You will NOT be disappointed.

I had the tofu and noodles. The flavor was SO good!! Like nothing else I’ve ever had before. I’m not sure what made it so special, but I love love loved it. 10/10 would recommend. And the owner works so hard with so much love.

Delicious, authentic Indonesian food! A slightly long wait but completely understandable for a badass one woman show. It is SO worth it. Her boba tea is by far the best in town and hits the spot on a hot day.

Were from NYC, and Mariana holds up with the best Indonesian and Malaysian cuisine weve had "out east". She must be an incredibly skillful cook to make such great dishes without easy access to authentic ingredients. Most importantly, this is the only Thai restaurant we ever been to that has dairy-free coconut milk Thai iced tea!

The food is truly excellent. By far the best meal we had in the area. We had the chicken curry, peanut salad, a sample of the fried chicken provided by Mariana, Thai iced tea boba, and spring rolls. Each dish was better than the last, with the curry and fried chicken particular standouts, and the tea just right and not too sweet. I can’t speak to authenticity, but it was as good as any Indonesian restaurant back in New York, so that’s saying something. On top of it all, Mariana was very nice and attentive. If you’re passing through Durango, you’ve gotta stop here. A real hidden gem. (Note: the truck is now permanently in the Home Depot parking lot).

Mariana’s curry had incredible, nuanced and layered flavor, every bite was new and delicious and exciting! The meal left us feeling satisfied and full of vitality. Mariana told us about the 16 different ingredients in her curry, many of which of fresh herbs - and indeed, we could tell from how good it felt to eat her food that it was full of wholesomeness. Highly recommended!

The most delicious lunch!! We were driving through Durango and decided to stop at Marianas Authentic cuisine truck. We are so glad we did. Everything we ordered was delicious. Mariana was personable and kind. You can tell she really cares about her customers. What a gem Durango has!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of trying Mariana’s spring rolls! Not only were they delicious and huge, but Mariana was so nice and took such care to make sure that all the ingredients were ones that I like. I really enjoyed talking to Mariana and will definitely be back soon to try more of her tasty recipes!

I love this place they have great tasting food that’s hard to find around Durango. Mariana is so nice and really cares about her business and customers. The portions are plentiful and leaves you all filled up with a smile on your face.

Mariana cuisine provides a unique opportunity for food lovers for something different and authentic. The indonesian food is authentic and tasty. The service is exceptional. Would heartily recommend with five stars!

Edit: I am back home in California and I still dream about this food months later.------My FAVORITE food in Durango. I found her by accident when I was going to the UPS store and have been a loyal customer ever since. I live an hour away so I try to plan my trips into town around Marianas food truck schedule. I once came in on a Monday and had to figure out how the heck to feed myself. I ended up panicking and getting a bland sandwich from a deli. I love love love the fried rice and the Indonesian fried chicken. Mariana actually texts me on the days she makes fried rice so that I can plan on driving down if I want to. I ended up getting 2 orders yesterday which is truly about 4 meals worth of food. I was going to freeze some to have later but I bragged to my friends about how good it was and they came and stole the 2nd order from me. Should have kept my trap shut.

Best Spring rolls I have ever had! Truly impressed with the level of skill and flavor from Marianna. I will be ordering more! Durango lacks good Asian cuisine and Marianna makes up for that. Love her food !

It was delicious! Nothing but a hot cup of chai tea to warm you up on a cold day! Tried one of her specials and it was really good. Definitely will stop by again. The owner was really nice, customer service was spot on.

Ive eaten at a lot of Thai/Vietnamese/Japanese/etc. Its a goal for me to find decent food of that style anywhere I go or visit. When it comes to the really good places, there is usually a running theme I see in the kitchen. Passion for the food, and Marianas has just that. After we finished our food, she came out and spoke with us and I could tell how much she cared about what she was serving up. Not everyone who cares about their cooking can make good food but when you have someone who cares AND knows their way around flavor, the results are great. Fully recommended.

We stopped by Marianas tonight for dinner and are so glad we did. We shared the spring rolls (so fresh and delicious), my dad got the curry chicken, and I got the vegan dish. Both of our meals were excellent and I highly recommend visiting. Mariana was super friendly and accommodating. She has a few different dishes that she can make vegan, which is really nice. If youre pressed for time, I would call ahead since she makes everything fresh.

Mariana is so welcoming and kind. Everything that she cooks is with love and made from scratch. The Springs rolls were so fresh, the best we’ve ever had. All her cuisine tastes just like the food we had in Indonesia.

We stopped by here based on the reviews. I cant imagine ever passing through Durango and missing out on this place! The service was off the charts and the food....... well Im obsessing about it. All food is freshly made right in front of you. In fact, I actually watched her make fresh peanut sauce, which was the best Ive ever had. And its different than any Asian food Ive ever tried. It truly is a must try! Mariana is a doll.

Grew up in japan and traveled all over Asia, this food is LEGIT.I have spent the past 4 years in and out of Durango, this is one of the incredible gems this town has to offer. Mariana is an incredible chef, waitress, and overall person. Her sweet nature makes her truck feel like an entire restaurant. Her food is always worth the wait.Her flavors are well balanced and so are the portions.Order 20-30 min ahead of time just to be safe if you’re an on a schedule!

Authentic and DELICIOUS!We went to the reopening of the power science museum and Mariana was there. We ordered the chicken curry and the peanut salad (added chickenand the spring rolls. ALL of it was good and tasty. She gave us generous portions and was polite. Highly recommend!

Theyve got all kinds of fresh and tasy veggies plus some apples for a crunch.

Mariana makes unique, always tasty Indonesian dishes. The spring rolls are unlike anything you’ve ever tried, very healthy and fresh tasting. I call and let her decide what I eat for lunch since it is always so good. Check Facebook for where she is parked in her big yellow food truck - you will not be disappointed!

The best food truck in Durango, honestly best food in Durango.. Mariana is so kind, and her food is incredible. when it isnt busy she will take time to get to know what you like, offer you samples and then make a meal thats just right for your taste. She has a bunch of amazing vegan food, and also offers dishes with chicken, beef, cheese, etc. Also, one of the most affordable places in town! You can eat a filling, healthy meal here for less than $8. The seating is shady and comfortable, and youre feet away from the Animas River. Cant recommend highly enough!
