Margarita Mexicana in Manama

Visited Margarita Mexicana earlier this week for their Mexican Festival. We had won a voucher in their social media competition on Instagram.Thus is the best Mexican restaurant in Bahrain. The food, service, ambience is all excellent. They had some wonderful performances by Mexican artists for the festival and we had a great time.The thing I like most about this restaurant is how they make the Guacamole fresh by your table. And it tastes amazing.... Best Guacamole I have had!Highly recommended.MB

BEST Mexican food in bahrain

Great place to taste a bit of Mexican flavors with the chef Ruben and his crew. I recommend the tacos,(“Cochinita”, Carnitas and Tinga). The staff also provide an amazing service, specially Stephanie.Finally the band does a great job performing a lot of Latin songs.Amazing restaurant to enjoy any occasion.

They deducted 25% of the total bill as taxes and service charges for the first time I see this in Bahrain

Nice atmosphere, but VERY expensiveOrdered Quesadillas, tacos and nachos with guacamole they charged us BD 32 for other chargesThey forget one of our order, the dessert we ordered churros was really bad test of burning can tell.

Bad service, the receptionist was at the back chatting. I had to look for her then there was no waiter got up from my table found him with receptionist at front laughing. oily food. When we mentioned that we got the reply “we make it like that”. Name is stephany

Didnt like the food nor the atmosphere

Great food and music!

Fine dinning went wrong. No value for money here. Eating knifes & forks on table service area which can be hygiene problem. Then taste of Mexican sauces is wrong I think due to substitute for Mexican ingredients. Dish presentation is poor like eating in 3rd class restaurant. Price for couples dinner with 2 appitisers and 2 main dish with water & 1 cocktail BD 45. I can spend this money better somhere else next time.

Authentic Mexican Food. Cook from scratch dishes like their delicious guacamole. It was a nice surprise to find this place here in Bahrain. As soon as we tasted Chef Ruben black beans and spicy green salsa we knew we had the real deal. his fajitas are so good! We had the pleasure to meet him and tour his kitchen. It is immaculate clean and the majority of his produce are ship from Mexico. I even booked a cooking class with him to lean how to make all his awesome food and every dish we had from him was amazing. This place has become one of our favorite restaurant and I’ll recommend it to everyone that wants to try real Mexican food. give it a try!!

Delicious beef fajita.

We celebrated a friends birthday in this restaurant, it was really nice. Ladies can get 50% off in almost all the outlets of the hotel on Tuesdays.The food was full of taste, the atmosphere and the ambience were nice.

Worst beef taco ive ever had.. and this tiny taco costs 10$ each.. beef tastes like dominos pizza beef

Dont get me wrong, the food is ok. Its just when it comes to Mexican cuisine, being gourmet and doing certain touches and twists is not the way to go in my opinion. If you want an interesting experience in Mexican cuisine, try it (they also have special events). But if you want some basic burritos, tacos and other staples as they should be, you may want to head somewhere else.
