Visited here in Oct 2019. You wont get a Kayah traditional food here. This is what we call Chinese style restaurant. The tastes are good.

The only decent restaurant in town (updated July 2019 - theres another restaurant as part of the hotel just next doorbut also it has great Kayah and Kayan styled dishes and above all, the outrageous views of rugged hills with a serene natural lake in the foreground. Theres a bar in the at the ground floor but it doesnt seems to be functional at all. The main restaurant and the dining is on the first floor via a steep flight of stairs but worth a climb. Theres no food to surprise you but dishes cooked in traditional style are recommended to try out. The location is isolated from the town and a bit tricky to follow the dirt trails. It is the place for the lunch and late afternoons drink.
