In a word - PATHETIC.First time there for the breakfast buffet. Paid $ 11. For some scrambled eggs, a hashbrown and bacon... You have to go ask at the deli for bacon. I got 3 pieces given to me that were see through thin. I was astonished at how cheap they could be with Bacon. Really pathetic... back to Ollys for me. Would suggest you do the same, atleast till they stop nickle and diming customers. Really pathetic, honestly ...

Amazing food!!

Went there awhile ago to buy a snack and took one bite out of the banana bread and it was stale. Never had this problem before covid and found out the place had freeze all the food when closed and now been using the old stuff.

I ordered a chicken club, before the Covid 19 shut down I ate them and they were good. Today the first bite did not taste great then I had a second bite and had to spit it out, I then threw the rest out. I spent over $10.00 on a sandwich and a drink and only enjoyed the drink. I can understand why there was no one there and the few people that were there had only coffee or a muffin.

Food is great, staff is excellent, always clean and fresh!

Used the Ritual App this week to order a power bowl. Was prepared to spec, quickly, and delicious. Highly recommend!

Power bowl is fresh and tasty, wish the meat was warm would have been that much better. But very good would order again. :)

They have a great take out salad bar, you pay by weight, and lots of $7 dollar lunches. During the lunch hour its hard to get a table, so I take my lunch back to the office.

Where to start, how about no dishes instead they opted for styrofoam takeaway plates or plastic containers with no option to recycle anywhere in the area.The prices are outlandish for the quality of food offered. Be smart and stick to lighter fooslds such as salad. If you jump into the heavier items like Shepard pie or rice and butter chicken you can easily wind up paying $20 a plate. Also I did not find water other than expensive water bottles.Why does this place hate the environment so much? Or is it they just dont care and want to squeeze every last nickel out of the profitability margins.Community natural foods has a much better buffet with free filtered water and no harmful environmental cost.Until these guys tighten up the ship show they are running I would recommend wandering somewhere else.

All I wanted was a sandwich. Egg salad on rye. Paid $8.00 for the worst sandwich ever. I opened my sandwich to find the bread so stale and hard, I couldnt even cut it. And the egg salad was mushy. Im so tired of Marcellos. There are too many places I can go to spend $8.00 and get a decent lunch.

their particular skill appears to be making baked chicken tough, but today it was pink and squishy. Well done, in a hurry, now no lunch. Never to return, too many misses....

The food on the buffet side is subpar, and that la being generous. Meat and chicken in many dishes are extremely dry and over cooked. Had a thai curry dish today there today - I was short on time and it’s in building I work in. It was complete much - so over cooked. And for that, you get outrageous prices. Food quality and prices are far superior at Mercatino’s a couple of buildings west in the plus 15. I will not return to Marcello’s.

Sandwich are good here. its a good place to eat. I personally like their power bowl, which at a very low price you can tons of good stuff,their buffet is also good, you can get lots of different things at a reasonable price.every Wednesday they have a pizza day where you get a personal pizza for $5

First thing that comes to mind is just “meh”. Convenient meal option if you want something quick, but in my opinion, the quality doesn’t always live up to the prices they charge. The staff are friendly enough, but don’t seem all that enthusiastic to be there

Delicious selection of coffees that I keep coming back for. Friendly customer service who enjoy their work. Wide selection of buffet items as well as some delectable breakfast wraps from kitchen area! Very clean store and fresh look!You can tell the owners really take pride in their business and their quality of food and cleanliness reflects it, nice work gentlemen!

Tried their Tuscan chicken sandwich in their deli and it was horrible. No taste and the chicken was so dry I had to choke it down with a sip of water each bite.

In my opinion, this is one of the better Marcellos locations in the downtown core. Their menu options vary regularly and are lot more ethinically diverse. Which is a departure from they typical options at other locations around the core.

Over the past few months the selection for the breakfast and lunch buffet has dwindled but not as far as the quality of the food. I used to go almost everyday but not again. So many better options out there.

I had been going to Marcellos for several months for breakfast, however lately I have noticed that even by 8:30 they have stopped bringing out fresh food and most of what is left is cold. Also it appears that they no longer have bacon at the buffet. Who has a breakfast buffet with no bacon? I wont be back.

Good place to grab a quick lunch and a cheap breakfast. You can get toast made with various types of bread, breakfast sandwiches customised as you like and oatmeal. For lunch they have several types of soup, sandwiches (prepared or made to order), great salads, desserts and a good salad bar & hot buffet. Just pay attention to how heavy your buffet box is since it is charged by weight.

Pretty made lunches are great. Breakfast yesterday was painful. The lady in front of me had mold on her bagel. I asked for a wrap that specified avocados as an ingredient. She left to the back room for about 5 minutes and came back empty handed. I then changed my order, was asked what veggies I wanted and mid sentence she started helping another person. when she came back to me and asked for salsa and she didnt know if they had any. Found it then sent and hid in the back to talk to someone about it which looked like it also may have had mold on the top. Never again.

Gradual decline in quality . soups are tasteless, buffet price keeps going up but the quality and diversity of options is going down. not impressed.

Conveniently located in the +15s. Have numerous sandwich, salad and buffet options for breakfast and lunch. Find the place to get extremely busy during the lunch rush. The food is definitely better than what you find at Wendys however its not the best. Kind of pricey as well.

I l eat here as its pretty much at the base of my building, but man they roll through staff and every time they do. None of them speak English, expect your orders (if you do orderto be wrong and to be charged the incorrect amount (no it hardly ever works out in your favor).At the other times, its pretty decent for a +15 buffet style shop.

Everytime I go, there is always something new. They have a huge selection of meals and salads including pizzas! On some days they also provide breakfast. It usually does get very crowded around the lunch hour, so be sure to get there quick.
