Marceda Wine and Dinner in Varna

I cannot confirm if they serve the best meat in town, because I did not have the chance to sample enough in town, but the burrata salad was very good and the lamb shank exquisite 👌 (see pictures). People were also very friendly and quite rightly proud of their dishes. Certainly to try if in Varna.

Заведението е великолепно! Отначало снимките и рибните предложения ме накараха да съм малко скептичен (не съм по рибата), но менюто се оказа достатъчно богато, за да си намеря храна по моя вкус. Не само това, но и в заведението често се предлагат специални предложения, които не са налични в основното меню. Това важи и за напитките и най-вече бирите, на които съм ценител. Освен типичните предложения, които можете да намерите навсякъде другаде, има и марки като Bernard, Regent, Primator, Waiser Hase, Estrella, Duel, Бохемъ и мн други, които не запомних.Персоналът беше много учтив и готов да посъветва при избора на ястие и питие, ако имате колебание, като правят предложения според личния ви вкус.Обслужването е според официалния етикет, атмосферата е приятна, заведението не е много голямо и не е комерсиално. Направо е дефиниция на израза "hidden gem"

Уютна обстановка, любезно обслужване, вкусна храна и добра селекция от бири. За първи път посещавам, но определено бих посетила отново в най-скоро време.

The place is not very modern or fancy but the food is outstanding and still offers the very good quality it has been the case in other places in the past.The red house wine was very good as also the food I tasted. The salad came with olive oil which is not standard in Bulgaria apparently and real olives. The meat was very tender and tasty. Very recommended

A place with great food and friendly staff! Recommend to go inside and pick a beer from the 2 refrigerators, containing good variety of options. Definitely will go back again!

Me and my friends ordered mineral water, which came in a glass bottle, and the water tasted more like a tap water rather than mineral one, paid 4bgn for it. The pasta was ok, but not worth the price of 17bgn for sure. The waiter was very kind so 10/10 for attitude.

Väldigt mysig restaurang, och maten var väldigt god, med bra portioner som mättar en (min 9-åriga son som är väldigt kräsen av sig gav restaurangen 4.5 stjärnor vilket är ett fantastiskt betyg(han åt pasta carbonara)). Men det som fick mig att ge stället en extra stjärna var personalen, trevlig och väldigt behjälpliga och kunniga, är inte van med denna fina service i Bulgarien, ser fram emot att ytterligare ett besök i framtiden. Vill ni ha ett trevligt restaurang besök hälsa gärna Mercada.

Какъв страхотен ресторант! Разположен на тиха и спокойна улица, с учтив и услужлив персонал, който търпеливо ни разясняваше менюто и прие безапелационно нашата голяма компания (10 души, от които 4 шумни децаи с невероятна храна! Всичко е прясно и се приготвя на място, порциите са много щедри и е страшно вкусно. Цените са нормални. Екстра плюс за краткото меню, което дава възможност на майстора готвач да усъвършенства блюдата. Следващия път, като сме във Варна, пак ще го посетим!

Very cozy and welcoming family restaurant with very friendly staff, food is superb, portions were generous in size, pricing was very reasonable, excellent service and very clean, feels like home; Veal stew and sauteed potatoes with dill and garlic, green salad on the side

Прекрасна храна и невероятно обслужване! Салатата Капрезе е най-вкусната, която съм пробвала до момента и то не само във Варна! Пастата с круши и сметана е невероятна, а Болонезе също не е за пропускане! За любителите на свински ушички - направо се топяха в устата. С голямо удоволствие ще посетим отново скоро :)

Nice place, friendly staff, tasty food!

That white book says it all. The best meat restaurant in the city. They know how to prepare the meat and not desecrate it, you will not get a veal steak burned beyond recognition or some pork summing in oil like the Gulf of Mexico. The owner will make sure you are happy with your meal. But dont take my word for it, go there and bring some friends coz the portions are generous.

Best meat and fish in the town. Dani - the chef is awesome guy and always tries not only to satisfy, but also to impress his guests. Great collection of local wines and local spirits.

Очень вкусно. Ели суп с курицей, овощами и мелкой вермишелью и салат с авокадо😉. Большие порции. Хорошее вино. Белое сухое к обеду - самое то.Огромный выбор еды для детей.

Hello,I dont even know how to describe this experience!Whaw!!The meat was perfect, the personnel perfect and the owner came and recommended us the best bulgarian red wine!!!I insist on one thing: the meat was delicious!!! We tasted the porc and the beef - we were impressed!Our daughter of almost 2 years old adored it! Can you imagine? It is the first time she could eat this kind of meat.Really a big thank you to the the chef!!!To closure - this location is just amazing!!!

We had the pork cheeks and fish with legumes and it was perfect.The pork is sous vide= sooo soft. The sauce for the pork was in french style. Fresh juice also perfect. We will come back because the level of taste was profund ! Also this is family owned restaurant and they have talent at cooking the food !

Amazing food at Marceda. We had the confit duck and beef. The meat was extremely tender, delicious and melted in the mouth. If you are feeling adventurous try the pigs ears! The owner also recommended some great wines and the cheesecake was homemade and to die for. 🥰

The food here was fabulous. Lovely spot with a nice atmosphere. The waiter was delightful, extremely friendly. Definitely one of the nicest restaurants weve been to yet. The wine was also very good. I absolutely recommend trying this place!!

Probably the best restaurant Ive been to in Bulgaria. Down to earth with a local feel in a quiet street a few minutes out of the centre. Fantastic, friendly service and seriously tasty food. Complimentary (and unlimited), cold glass bottled water - an extra touch you typically dont get in Bulgaria. The salad was fresh, the fish was delicious, the vegetables done to perfection and the desserts were really good. Everything very reasonably priced and a really nice change from the never ending pizzeria style restaurants everywhere else. Will definitely be going back next time were in Varna!

The food was very nice and we received good service. The wine list has quite a lot of choices. The only issue is that inside you can smell the kitchen.

Tried a soup and caprese salad with a glass of wine. Everything was perfect! A quite place under the trees!!

Nice place for lunch or dinner. Good value for money, especially compared to restaurants in more central locations.

I am in Varna with my family. We visited many restaurants in the city and around the sea. But only here we got delicious food, good atmosphere, great wine and excellent service. Thank you for being there.

Чудесен ресторант. С отлично обслужване и много вкусна храна. Всичко се приготвя на момента, но пък си заслужава да изчакаш 10 минути. Бързо се превърна в любимото ми заведение. Уютно и спокойно !Давам не 5 а 8 звезди :-)

Dont belive the local guides!This used to be a restaurant called Parmi which was excellent, offering more traditional Bulgarian food. This new restaurant is terrible.Terrible service, terrible attitude, raw and burnt food.They have one burger on the menu, I ordered it, the burger arrived 20 minutes after my girlfriends salad.The bread was burnt, the burger so tall everything fell out of the burger when I tried to pick it up, tomato, onion etc... Total mess.I asked for extra ketchup and mayonnaise and was told there is plenty of salsa on the burger, why would I want extra? Very insulting, I am the customer!The meat was also almost totally raw, disgusting. See pictures.I told the waiter I did not want to pay for the burger as I tried and simply could not eat more as it was vile. I asked him to tell the chef.When asked for the bill I was shocked to see the restaurant was still charging me for this disgusting food. There was no apology at all. Totally unacceptable behaviour with no regard for the customer at all. The chef obviously didnt agree with me, the customer!If this restaurant cannot cook a simple burger correctly, imagine buying the more expensive dishes they have on offer.DO NOT EAT HERE! THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU OR THE FOOD AT ALL!ZERO STARS
