What a great historic beach side asset. Recommend on many levels.
Incredible amazing atmosphere and great drinks, food and paradise gardens.
Drinks with friends, the villas are spacious and very private. Location second to none. Busy on Friday evenings.
Absolutely recommended! Marbella Club Hotel is extraordinary and the restaurant was fantastic. Outstanding experience 😍❤️
You want luxury, excellent customer service and great ambiance? Marbella Club Hotel has it all. Everything here is is just excellent. Not the cheapest but you won’t feel cheated.
Beautiful hotel. Good for family holiday. Amazing breakfast.
Had two amazing dinners during my last trip. The lamb was incredible and Patricia was fantastic and helped us with some excellente wines.
An amazing hotel choice when visiting Marbella I’ve had an enjoyable stay and the kids club was a life saver when I finished swimming for the day - a bunch of fun activities for all ages
A fantastic experience for drinks and a classy dinner at the Grill- the food was fantastic- and the staff were organised and welcoming. Will come again and stay next time.
Spent the afternoon on the beach, we received outstanding service and the drinks were really good.Beautiful, peaceful and just what we needed. Would definitely return and have food the next time.
Marbella Club Hotel is my love, I am always happy to return here whenever possible.A chic territory, service and a Grill restaurant are the first things that come to mind when you remember this wonderful hotel.I recommend you to visit.
Marbella Club is a great exclusive place plus experience including for name dropping! Lol.Bearing in mind the average nightly rates for accommodation can be on average €1300 to €1500 plus coffees and water bottles at €7 and spagetti bolonese at €23 and all with 10% tax on top its needs a deep wallet! We had lunch by the pool and the food, drinks plus service was superb. Its a beautiful resort on its own with believe a private pier plus beach and its a lovely experience how the top notch live. Will definitely do it again! Lol.
I had dinner with friends. Had a champagne. Ate a veggie dinner. Piano music early at night and DJ till late. It was amazing.
Discrimination the rights of workers and women. Bad place in the world
It was a disappointing experience and would not recommend to anyone. We have recently stayed for a week at the resort. Overall it was quite a disappointing experience. The resort rented out buildings at the front for private events and parties. During our stay, there had been nights when private parties were taking place with very loud disco music lasting way beyond midnight. This was very disturbing when our villa is at the front of the resort close to where they hosted parties. We have specifically asked for a quiet room as we were light sleepers and this was not the sort of experience we would expect from a resort like this. According to the staff, apparently this happens quite often when large private parties take place in the resort. I understand that the resort needs to make extra money from venue hires, but the experience and comfort of hotel guests should always be the priority, given it claimed to be an ultra luxury resort. The resort itself is much smaller than expected. The facilities and options of activities are below expectations. There aren’t much activities to choose from if you don’t play golf. Even for golf, you need a shuttle bus to go somewhere else for it. There are only 3 shuttle buses a day.The food at El Patio was plain and way overpriced for what it was.The breakfast room was extremely small and crowded which was not pleasant. The bathroom had ants on the floor.Overall this was a very disappointing experience given the price tag. For this price and budget, there are a lot of luxury hotels around the area.
Great wine selection And a dangerous tasty dessert .
Great place. A real oasis of luxury in the middle of Marbella chaos. Staff excellent, amazing beach and rooms. Bravo. Must do, when in Marbella
AmaZing place! Great Food and very good service quality! 5 *
The Grill restaurant was very good. Nice staff and good food. Expensive but great for a special occasion.
The nicest hotel I have ever been to. On a 5 day detox with friends. The staff are do lovely all over the hotel. Amazing decor and delicious food
Old fashioned service with modern amenities. Fabulous childrens club, spa, 2 swimming pools, beach and pier. Only thing I didnt like were the menus, not enough information for anyone with allergies or dietary needs.
We’re here at the end of october and the weather is very windy and temperatures vary between 18-25. We read that the pools are heated but in reality the water is so cold that we can’t really swim. There are no hottubs either which is really strange. This is so disappointing because the kids would really like swim. I called the front desk to ask if the pools can be heated a little more. After discussing with the person responsible for the pools the person at the front desk called me back telling that the temperature is 28 and it is the maximum. We are planning to buy a thermometer to verify the temperature because the water is really unpleasantly cold and 28 cannot be a fact. For example, today our 3-year old came out from the pool after 10 min complaining that she is freezing. Then the person at the front desk also said something really disturbing; the pools are public and that they cannot help if some people are not happy with the facilities. I told her that noone can be happy with the pool temperatures and she could ask around for opinions and everyone would like the water to be warmer. Then she continued that she is only working at the front desk and not able to assist and that we should go to the pools to talk to the staff if we have a problem. She was laughing all the time as she talking to me. I was not. It’s not funny to pay 2000€ a night and be unsatisfied with the facilities.Other than this we’re happy with everything. Great kids club, excellent food, nice room.Susanna Tall
Wonderful place, great service and food, especially if you can enjoy some MABÓ Coffee..
Absolute heaven. Every meal was absolutely world class and the surroundings and staff complete the experience of an idyllic paradise.
Just take a tour of the hotel and garden if you are not intent to stay here. And a drink at one of its bars. Decors and athmosphere it will be what youll remember many years later.
I did not stay at the hotel I just had lunch at the cafe by the pool and the food was good and the service very good bu be careful theres a bird infestation that will come and literally eat from your plate.
Truly a magnificent hotel. Service is first class, food worthy of a king, and entertainment at every spot. An experience hardly duplicated. I have no association what so ever with the hotel. It’s been a long time since I have been so impressed. Stay a minimum of three days. Otherwise you will not appreciate all the hotel has to offer.
Price of the caña (half pintis €7. Its my fault for not checking the price first. But. I wasnt a resident and didnt stay by the pool or benefitted of any facilities. I just waked down the road from Puerto Banus (where I paid €2,50 like anywhere elseand stopped for a quick beer in the beach shack.Seven. Euros. For half a pint of lager. This is robbery.I hope this review detracts at least one paid customer.
Not for the ordinary traveller; even if you can easily afford two rooms, be prepared to be on the lower end of the food-chain and treated alike… is what it is
We checked in on last Friday. We checked in and were told all restaurants were full - we had booked 4 months earlier, why no one had asked us before? We crossed Europe to come to Marbella and were told “you can eat inside if you wish”. Then we checked in into the room that was between a parking lot, a pool full of kids screaming and a bar that played music until 1 am. The room was big and comfortable but nothing worth the 1000 eur a night we were paying for. Second night was my partner birthday, and after negotiating with the concierge we managed to secure a reservation at one of the restaurants… when I was about to seat, I was told that I couldn’t seat because i was wearing a short. The concierge had forgotten to mention that the dress code was “trouser only”. I had to go home and change. After two days of not being able to sleep - bar playing music until 1 am + car traffic, I went to the reception and told them what I thought about their luxury experience. Someone named Francesco saved my life and understood what we went through. He upgraded us to one of the best rooms of hotel for the last night. The room - 267 - was fantastic. A totally different experience, no noise. A view on the ocean. He saved our trip and this is only reason for a 3 star rating VS 1 star rating. Thank you so much Francesco.
Tranquility and privacy for guests via independent villas and rooms.Villa within a hotel with all the facilities. The hotel has been designed to represent a village feel with rooms spread out across the beautifully manicured grounds. The Kids club is in the original house of Prince Alfonso, Finca Santa Margarita. Each room provides different activities including a herb garden, dance studio, perfume lab and kitchen. For an additional fee.to guests, the Kids Club is open 365 days, staff speak Spanish and English and is open 10am - 5pm and charges an additional fee. They also sometimes host cinema nights so parents can go out.Complimentary pilates, wellness and nutritionist talks.Majority of rooms are single levelAll the villas have a heated private pool. Also have an arrangement with Puente Romano to use tennis facilities and tickets for international tournaments.Complimentary transfer to Malga Golf in Benehavis.Plenty of activities the concierge can arrange.Be aware some of the rooms can be quite some distance from the breakfast restaurant and bars, however there are golf cart transfers available upon request.#walkabout_foodie
We were there for dinner in the opening night of the El Patio Restaurant. We enjoyed every moment of this evening. Great food, very good service and beautiful setting. Will definitely go back! By the way save some space for the excellent deserts!
My favourite hotel on the Costa del Sol!Just a stunning place from the grounds, to the rooms to the hotel itself. The staff are fabulous and really go that extra mile.I always stay in one of the suites and they are just so peaceful.Highly recommend this 5* hotel!
Everything about this place is five star the best service Ive experienced in all of Spain great food great ambience a very beautiful place to pass some time
Great and peaceful place. Amazing service and so nice details. A lot of green and very good breakfast
We are currently staying at the Marbella Club Hotel. This is a beautiful property in a great location (if you happen to like Marbella and the Costa del Solwith lots of personnel. It is also priced accordingly (450,- to over 1.000,-. Euro per night for the basic double room depending on the season, villas can run much higher). However, there are two major issues: First, "form of substance" applies to the bungalow we are staying in. It looks beautiful, but otherwise the quality of the hardware is more two stars than five+ stars:- Heavy tiles coming down the bathroom wall and nearly hitting my son (hard to believe, but please see picture on TA)- An ant colony in the bathroom due to open joints (50 cents of silicon would have done the job)- Motion sensors broken and the lamps in the wardrobes (open dressing roomlightening up the sleeping room all night long- Lights flickering (apparently my fault for pushing the button too long - I would have thought it is the job of the hotel to match dimmable buttons with the right bulbs)- Countercurrent installation in the pool not working- Toilet flushing in the master bathroom not working properlyObviously, there is no quality control regarding the room. So far the service recovery has been some ham & cheese to our room. Yes, you have not misread that.Second (and very important to know for families with children), there is a street (!running through the resort. Rooms and villas are directly next to the street (and one can hear every car passing from the living room I am sitting in). If you believe the signs 5kmh tops, only for hotel guests and drivers shall be careful because of playing children.Today a non-hotel guest (there is no security whatsoeverdriving approx. 25 to 30kmh nearly run over my son. I called hotel security who did not intervene, since my son was not hit by the car. They even let the non-hotel guest park the car on the hotel property. Apparently only the hotel manager can take action. Unfortunately, he is not present. If in a supposedly luxury hotel (with well over 100 rooms/ villasonly the manager can decide anything, this speaks for itself how the property is run. That said I obviously cannot recommend any family with children staying here. If you have no children, it is up to you to pay 5* price for 2* hardware or not.UPDATE - Unfortunately, the "Director General" of the hotel replied to my original post misstating the facts. He claimed an immediate service recovery and a generous compensation. He is wrong on both counts and you are free to draw your own conclusions from that. The so called service recovery was offering me the same room/ bungalow type in a worse position. The generous compensation after a horrible night was a ham & cheese plate. Furthermore, contrary to the facts I never asked to return.
This hotel is truly exceptional. The grounds are some of the most wonderful in the world. Fresh fruit everywhere, birds chirping all day.The restaurant is wonderful and the service/food fabulous. The attention to detail throughout the hotel is out of this world. No wonder it was the residence of a prince.Special shout to Francesco who went above and beyond for our recent stay.
Best Hotel in Spain and one of the best in the world. Too bad so many Gangstas have come to the same conclusion this winter.Nowadays excellence attracts not only aristocrats. Was always like that, but I like to believe that Gangstas in the past were dressed like in Coppolas Movies: you knew who they were by their impeccable clothes.Fast forward to 2021. We all know that to be the toughest you need only 2 things: a good gym obviously and tattoos 🔏Fortunately this property has always been chasing excellence. No matter where on the grounds of the Marbella Club Hotel I always feel at home instantly. Thank you.
Amazing place. We went there in winter time, played great golf and had the opportunity spent 2 days in Sierra Nevada in the Lodge hotel.. Great experience golf + skiing - this is what we like.
Really remarkable service and quality of food !!! Raul and all the Staff at the morning breakfast shift really made the difference to our stay . Excepcionally kind and service orientated , Happy and welcoming staff .Congratulations and Thank you .
This place is, of course, an institution of great significance along the whole of the Costa del Sol. So it needs no introduction. This time we had pizza in the the MC Café, which was excellent, even at 5pm in the afternoon. It was hard to imagine a pepperoni pizza being served with a 5 star flourish - until now. Not to be missed.
Toured a couple of months back, really liked it just a little too far from school than I’d prefer. Olivia showed me around and she was so HELPFUL, never stopped smiling. Very nice property, very clean as well!
We just returned from a two week stay with our 3yr old and our stay was outstanding. Absolutely impeccable staff, food, drinks, location. The kids club is one of the best in the world. We loved it so much were booking a trip again next year!
We visited the daily lunch buffet. Excellent service and great food. You can hire a lounger after lunch for an extra €50 per bed, But the use of the pool is free. Not a place to come to if youre on a budget but a good experience to see how the other half live! The seafood and meat were all cooked to perfection, staff are extremely attentive and helpful. Easy way to spend a few hours.
My husband, myself and our two young sons (ages 9 and 6stayed for 5 nights and we have nothing negative to say about Marbella Club Hotel. Every staff member we encountered was exceedingly friendly. The hotel grounds are stunning! The diversity in plants, flowers, and trees are so impressive and the care that goes into maintaining it all is obvious. All the restaurants are very good as is the Kids Club. Our rooms were perfect and up to date. The gorgeous weather made our stay even better. We cannot wait to come back to visit...maybe next time without the kids (even though the hotel is very family friendly).
I truely do not understand how people rated this hotel a five star.I will be very honest, the hotel itself with the facilities are indeed five stars and the location is also a five star location. The hotel also has its own history which is very nice and gives the place an identity.HOWEVER, and that is a big one, what is all that with a very poor service, understaffed employment , very very low level of security and to top it all with a non responsive management. In my book, the whole hotel experience should include all of the above and not a single one missing. How happy would i be when I spend a lot in a hotel stay and end up having things stolen from me?I would highly recommend looking into other hotels. One would be kempinski, even though it is far away, however it is worth it.
The rooms are really clean but we had to switch places because some things were broken and in my opinion that is unacceptable for the price we pay but we were very kindly moved in to a better place. The breakfast is very delicious and you have a pretty wide variety of things to eat. The places to eat lunch or dinner are also plenty and very good. The staff is very kind and helpful but in some cases the english is not the best. Also the gym is good and clean. All in all it is a very nice "hotel" and i would recommend going there. It is also much more welcoming and homelike there not like almost all the other gigantic prefab built hotels there.
This places is like heaven on earth. The moment you go through that gate you know something big, something different is happening. For me Marbella Club is all about the atmosphere. The ambience is nice and quiet. Absolutely every single detail is perfect. Everyone is smiling, everyone is calm in here. The place is amazing from the beach to the rooms. Theres no huge buildings with a million tinny rooms on it. There are many small charming buildings showcasing the traditional Andalusian homes style, everyone apart from the others and surrounded by gardens with grass, flowers, fountains and spectacular trees. One of my favorite things is indeed the garden. The trees, the shade, the smell everything is effortless and balanced. You actually feel how fresh it is under those huge trees on a hot summer day.And of course the rooms. Luxurious in the right way, modern and classy. But definitely the soul of the Marbella Club Hotel is his staff. They are always there when you need them and they are happy to help. Everyone is always nice to the clients and also between them. It never ceases to amaze me.It is a family friendly hotel. They have the most wonderful kids club. And the activities there never stop (from 10:00 to 18:00). My kids love it!The restaurants and food are extraordinary. I specially love the MC Cafe for lunch and the grill at night. The pools, the spa, the gym, the nails studio... everything is just gorgeous. To point something "wrong" about the hotel I will say some times they take too long. Especially at the restaurant by the little pool. But I think its because they are taking their time to do everything properly. What am I supposed to say? Im officially in love with this place! :)Please experience it!
Highly recommended to our clients time after time with highly satisfactory results and for anyone looking to celebrate a very special occasion - this is the place. The rooms are stunning and ever so different and the service is excellent too. Truly a must!
Our entourage stayed here on several occasions and the overall experience was outstanding!! Really attentive, friendly and professional staff, service and facilities. Having the gym located in house instead of at the tennis club a few kilometres away was appreciated. A short walk down to the beach, and centrally located of one were to use the public transport facilities.
