First time eating here. The food was awesome and our server was awesome as well. Drinks were amazing! Definitely will be returning whenever I am in town.

Never had been there before and I was pleasantly pleased.

Weve been 3 times and it just gets better. Scratch made traditional fare, good pricing on enormous portions. Excellent house made salsa. Ask for Blad to be your server, hes great at his job and makes us feel quite welcome.

Great service both times Ive eaten here but still havent found anything I really like. Definitely not my preferred Mexican restaurant.

This is my go to for Mexican Food! Love the Salads, Soup and Enchiladas! Best Margaritas in town!!!!! Owners are amazing and give back to the community! The restaurant is always clean and the staff is friendly and professional! Highly recommended!!!

Ok food. Would have thought better for Palm springs. They were busy and we did not have a reservation so that could have been part of the issue. Great service

Enjoyed a citrus salad with mixed salad greens and grilled chicken. Variety of vegetarian, chicken, meat or shrimp dishes and appetizers. Order without the animal protein or add your choice. Also Mexican dishes with rice and choice of beans. TVs if you want to watch sports while you dine. Cheerful and helpful service from our server made for enjoyable lunch.

All I can say is that this was the best Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at. WOW, authentic food and mature, knowledgeable staff. I dont live in the area, but, visit quite frequently. I have definitely found my go to restaurant for future trips to the area. Thanks for the great meal and the wonderful dining experience. 👍🤗

Always great! Best happy hour in the valley! The salsa is a little on the spicy side, but just makes you want more. Taco Tuesday is the best at the Rancho Mirage location only. The servers are awesome!

Food was piping hot flavorful. Prices were reasonable. Service was on point. Definitely coming back with family and friends.

Top notch Mexican food! I got the watermelon jalapeño margarita which was so refreshing and delicious. The fajita quesadilla with steak was so flavorful and filling, and you absolutely cannot skip the chips and salsa. The salsa is delicious, spicy and plentiful

Terrific food, courteous and attentive service, reasonable prices…what more could you want.The house made salsa is excellent. Well balanced flavor and just the right amount of heat and seasoning.

The Maracas Casuela dish was fabulous! I shared with a friend and we had leftovers. Margarita were strong and very delicious. Loved the atmosphere and wait staff very friendly and knew about menu items we asked about. Highly recommend you try them. Delicious!!

From the time we walked in the experience was great...Our server was friendly, experienced and very helpful....The food was absolutely delicious..Not a 5 star interior but it was very very clean...We order too dishes and drinks and spend $50.00...It will be my eating destination when Im in town...

The food and drinks were good, but unfortunately as our experience was coming to an end it was completely ruined by a large cockroach making its way across our dinner table and to where we were sitting. As a food and health inspector this was a huge disappointment for me. My stomach turned upside down after that incident and I puked all my food in the parking lot...

Best Mexican happy hour in the desert. Taco Tuesdays are so bomb lol. In addition the service is amazing from Junior, Angie, Anthony, and the entire crew this is the place for a great Maggy with Tajin on the rim!!!

After a long day of shopping at multiple box stores in Palm Desert, I was starving and decided to stop for some Mexican food (my favoriteand came in and asked for a table for 1 around 7:30. I was quickly seated at a booth but sadly did not get even a glass of water or any server until nearly 8 p.m. I was just ready to walk out when a server asked if I had been helped. I said no, and I wanted a water, a Rum Punch and 2 chicken enchiladas. (I did not want to give him only my drink order at this slow of a pace.Well, I got the water within a few minutes but the drink took another 15 minutes and the food 25 minutes. The drink was $14.50 and was in a tall glass but mostly ice and punch. I would expect this of an $8 to $10 drink but not a $14.50 drink. The dinner was just OK. (Nothing like the LA area Mexican Restaurants I am accustomed to). When the waiter asked if I wanted another drink I said no, I was disappointed with the 1st and he asked if their was something else I would like so I said OK, I will have a White Russian (my usual drink 90% of the timewhich is very difficult to mess up! I mean, how can you mess up Kahlua, Vodka and milk??? Well, they did! It was definitely not Kahlua. It was a cheap off brand of some other coffee liquor! It was in a short tumbler and was $8.50 which would be OK if it was really Kahlua.

House margaritas are not good.⚠️ Can get very busy in the evenings and afternoon.

This was my first time at this place in this place we had to terrible food given to us the picture on the left was albondigas soup it looks like the bottom of the barrel of the soup thats what they gave me and when I complained about it they try to make it up by giving me the soup that was on the right I was so disappointed with this place

My first experience with Maracas was through Grub Hub and it was mixed. When I placed the order the estimated time for deliver was in about 45 minutes (order was placed at 6:30). At about 7 pm I got a call from the driver who told me that he had been told that the food would not be ready for at least 30 minutes more, maybe 45. Then I heard someone tell him that it would be ready in 10 minutes. OK - that wasnt a problem. However, the food wasnt all ready in 10 minutes. When I opened one of the container that was supposed to have the quesadilla .... there was no quesadilla! There was rice, beans, guacamole and sour cream (which I did not order). Fortunately, Grub Hub refunded the cost of the missing quesadilla. The other entree was there and the rest of the food was tasty and well prepared.

I get a chicken burrito eveywhere I go. My burrito was not naturally flavorful and lacked the taste that would tell my taste buds to come back again. The salsa i ordered was not much help to save my burrito. Sorry to say I will look elsewhere for a burrito that is not so americanized.

Was traveling and stopped by for happy hour. I had some delicious (and strongmargaritas and great food. The staff were all very cheerful and great to interact with.Edit: Our server, Efran Jr., was great!

Went on 9-8-21 and had good service and a great meal. Decided to comeback 9-11-21 for a birthday party and 11 total guest but had bad food (service was still good). Sent back my plate twice because the cook didnt know what well-done meat was supposed to look like. My wifes rice was hard and a friends rice was hard and burnt.. Really disappointed in the cook.

I chose this restaurant because it is close to the Westin and had high ratings.The person that answered the phone was very friendly. The atmosphere was nice.The server warned me that the plate was hot but the chicken within the enchilada was cold. This tells me it had been frozen and not fully heated. The chicken within was beautifully shredded white meet yet hardly any sauce over theenchilada so ultimately it was cold and dry. The refried beans were bland except for the burnt taste.Sorry I couldnt say anything more possitive but food was very disappointing.

Wow really great food! I am very discerning about chips and salsa and theirs are excellent. I can highly recommend the seafood enchilada plate, plenty of seafood - mouth watering taste. Ordered them three weekends in a row! Also a great delicious small meal is the street tacos from the appetizer menu. And the Mango Margaritas are out of this world. Terrific wait staff make for a great dining experience.

Very flavorful, the use of fresh ingredients was obvious. Theyre salsa was one of the better ones Ive had in a long time. The portions were very generous. Service was great. Definitely will return.

Pretty good. Our server was very friendly and personable! The chips and salsa at our table while wait waited was really good! The chips are thin, and crispy.The meal was good... But nothing special. My rice was pretty dry and hard/crispy??I had the Chile Relleno and Shrimp Enchilada combo and a chavela. The drink was good and came in a huge mug with tajin rim.

The food was very good in generous portions. The salsa and chips were great, with the salsa being rich in fresh flavors without being overly hot. The Mexican Pot stickers were excellent, I liked the crispy outer shell, the p sauce with them was a pleasant surprise of pineapple and a little heat, the chicken inside was cooked well.. My wife did not like them due to personal preferences not how it was prepared.The pork chimichanga was again well spiced without a lot of heat, it was a little too wet for me but was perfect for my wife.Setting is out doors only in the back or in a tent out front.The night we were there, the live music was Leanna, who we throughly enjoyed. Her soft styling of various genres was wonderful and well performed.

We love the appetizers here and the street tacos. My only beef is the margaritas are really weak. I paid 15.00 for a large, skinny margarita today and all I tasted was lime juice. Was hoping for better but will just have to make the drive to Fresh Agave for the real Rita. Love the food and service though!

We have been wanting to try this place and finally got to tonight. There were 4 of us and we all got something different. But we all agreed that the food was some of the best Mexican cuisine. The salsa was fantastic and the service was great.

Food was excellent and large portions staff was great only one small note one of the kids high chairs middle strap was broken and even the hostess told us that a child had fallen out of it so maybe its time to just throw it out other then that a great experience

Strong margaritas. Salsa is good. Warm chips. The beef tostada was delicious.
