This place is great! Best seafood rest. In Isla Verde . Must go
The food was pretty good, but from the time my wife and I walked in I got the distinct impression we were not welcome. The waiter poured our water and placed the glasses as far from us as the table would allow. He asked if I would like a drink. I ordered a drink. He repeated the order. And never brought it. We ordered a salad. They don’t serve salad (?!!). We asked to have our left overs wrapped. They left half our left overs in the kitchen.Very bad vibe.
Simply amazing. Cant wait to visit again. So glad our friends showed us this hidden gem.
The service was great. Very respectable staff and fancy setting. However, the food was awful. It has no flavor, besides salt and it is very salty. I dont like to waste food, so I finished the plate, but it was gross. I had to get ice cream afterwards to get the bad flavor out of my mouth.
Service was impeccable and seafood pallella was amazing 👏🏽
The food was good however we didnt feel particularly welcome by the other patrons upon our entrance. Their loss
Thought it was sketchy from the outside looks outdated came inside and was wowed.
Best I had in PR I like it!
Absolutely incredible. My partner and I were unsure of where to go for our one nice dinner out and about and could not have picked a better spot. Seafood paella out of this world and both appetizers well worth it. Fantastic service, without being overbearing.
Very nice and cozy establishment great food and service, it was a pleasure to dine there.
Surprisingly good!Tasty seafood and excellent service.
Service and food were excellent.
Again and again..always excellent service and great taste with awesome quality.
Great seafood, wonderful service. We went for lunch and had a great meal. Don’t miss out on the home made hot sauce!
Service was really good but the food was very disappointing. Everything was bland and was lacking any authentic PR flavor. Save your time and go to a simple mom and pop in the area instead.
Very disappointed in the customer service. The restaurant is okay looking and the food is pretty basic. You can get that kind of food anywhere but it was over priced. $5 for water?! Also, the look on our servers face when we asked to split the checks was absolutely RUDE. Very disappointed in the customer service.
Delicious meal and great service
Very elegant atmosphere. The pork osso bucco was amazing, the goat stew took my husband back to his younger days.the parche mojito maybe the best I have had.The service was top notch.Next trip to PR will definitely return
Excellent service and food.
White tablecloth linen with linen napkins to accompany. Waiters dressed with coat and tie. Proper table setting with waiters serving to the right using the right hand. Food in large quantity and outstanding taste. All of this commensurate with the expense. Well worth it.
Awesome service. We use to dinner there frequently. Maitre D always taking care. Waitresses on point. Tasteful menu. Excellent presentation. Pretty neat service. 100%
It was recommended by a local while visiting and it did not disappoint the food and the service was amazing. Had the deep fried fish and it was perfect. Highly recommend if you are visitingto stop by.
Be careful of the receipt, they may change the price of the item, more expensive than the price on the menu.
Absolutely amazing service and food! I got the OsoBuco and holy God was it amazing! This place is an absolute must when visiting PR!!!
Great food. This was the first place we stopped for lunch on our recent trip to Puerto Rico. We ordereded the ceveche and squid appetizers, as well as the ocobuco.
Very Good food and service was amazing.
Amazing experience! Customer service top noch! Good was delicious!! The people made us feel welcomed despite being dressed super casual.
AWESOME food great ambiance. Impeccable service. Highly recommend this place.
This place is upscale and super delicious. We ordered ceviche, calamari, salad, and everything was amazing.
The Halibut, Goat and grilled chicken were excellent, the grilled Seafood plate was on the over cooked side but it still tasted good next time I will let them know not to over cook it. Prices are reasonable for the quality and service. I highly recommend it.
Looked for a place to eat with friends andMy wife found this gem. They were very accommodating when asked about outdoor seating. They put one table outside for us and we were all alone. The food was very good too! Had the ceviche as an appetizer and it was so good. All 6 of us had a wonderful meal. The service was very good as well. Again, the food was really good! I can recommend it.
Comfortable, safe, great background music. Covid precautions in place. Staff polite, bilingual and professional
Helpful staff, quick takeout, some of the most succulent fall-off-the-bone meat Ive ever tasted. Worth every penny.
A beautiful place. The staff were nothing but nice and top notch. The food was wonderful. My partner tried Lobster for the first time and loved it here. I tried it too and it was made very well. My stuffed chicken with sweet plantains and cheese was incredible. Definitely worth a visit.
Highly recommended, even though it was a pick up, food was delicious and the service outstanding!!! Please support our local restaurants during these pandemic times, they are in survival mode, but still giving their best.
Is an amazing restaurant quality, service. I recommend churasco and mofongo. The very best around the area. I also like the browny and cream brûlée’s
The food here was great and it has a nice cozy atmosphere
Clean nice upscale restaurant. Had churrasco was good tender well seasoned. My daughter had pollo a la plancha with garlic sauce she enjoyed it. If you go with small kids they have chicken nuggets with a side complemento. We enjoyed it
The place is excellent, food was perfect. Best meal in the area, best restaurant on the area. The have so many options and different plates. All of them spectacular and super good. Great recommendation
Great food!!! Great service at this restaurant. The staff was very nice and the atmosphere was very cozy. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you receive with an entree...
Highly recommend this place to eat. The food was superb! I ordered "Camarones y Scallops cooked in fresh coconut & honey"..the flavors were not sweet; however, they complmented the tender scallops & shrimp. The service was attentive & very professional. We will definitively be returning!
The staff is nice and friendly the Sangria was good. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, it came out super fast but was just okay. I dont know, it was late on Sunday night just before closing, maybe cook had had a long day. Ill try them again sometime cause anyone can have an off day so, well see.
We were staying overnight in San Juan before a cruise and looking for a nice restaurant to celebrate a birthday. We made a great choice with Candela. The staff was attentive, friendly and professional. We began with a round of delicious margaritas, which got the evening off to a great start. I ordered the Branzino without Thorns (I Googled to learn was Mediterranean sea bassand received a generous portion. It was very fresh and was cooked perfectly! Our waiter suggested the perfect Spanish wine to complement the fish.Thank you to the staff for a wonderful evening, and my compliments to the chef. I’d also like to extend a special thanks to the owner for going above and beyond. Wishing you much success in 2019!
This is a hidden gem!!! The food and service is amazing...try the osso bucco
A very elegant atmosphere. Upscale yet friendly with wonderful food. My party ordered three different entrees and all were delicious. Their fettuccini alfredo is like non I have ever experienced. Thanks so much !
We had the mariscisos soup, pechuga al jibarito, white rice and red beans with tostones. Very rarely do I sit down to eat a meal and have everything come out cooked to perfection.... This is one of those times. What an amazing place. Will definitely recommend and come back. From Florida to enjoy real authentic cooking...
Good flavor but small portion and $20 up plate only, normally spend $35 with tax, tip and drink by person
the rating is just because of the food, service was friendly and prompt, the place itself is very nice and elegant, the problem is the food, all appetizers were bad specially the cod croquetas which were bland and without cod, the snails did not have any flavor and the chorizo al vino was made with poor quality chorizo, main dishes were not any better the lobster was frozen and over cooked, the cabrito was chewy and it too had no flavor, the only plate that was aceptable was the cochinillo confitado, again the restaurant is very nice and service is great but they should get a new chef
The food is outstanding but on the pricey side and worth it.
Everything to like. Service, cleanliness, well put together! Salmon with shrimp in brandy sauce was excellent!!! The staff was very attentive as well.
