Terrible food, service and management. Instead of improving their food and service for better ratings, the management focuses on the wrong things - putting others down. Will never return.

We went for drinks and dinner , ordered shisha and drinks.Shisha was super flop , and the glass they served drinks in were chipped and lousy drinks .total waste of money

The poorest services ever I’ve faced. We were waited for the foods more than an hour end up we cancelled the orders.You people really disappointed us cause it’s my friend’s birthday party and you people really messed up everything. Try to improve your services. Thank you for the Unforgettable night Mantra.

I have never try their food here before, always just here for the drinks and catch up with friends.Loud music indoor, can be real hard to talk and chat with friends. They have outdoor seatings too, it’s easier to talk and make conversation with your friends as the music is not so loud outside. Would always love to sit outdoor, but have to make reservation in advance or else it’s all depends on your luck to get the outdoor seats.Service: The service here is extremely good as well. The server was very attentive, friendly and nice.Ambience: Modern, nice and romantic. Have a beautiful KL view as it’s located at the rooftop of Bangsar Village 2. I came here for New Year countdown too, it was nice seeing all the fireworks happening in the KL without getting into there and get stuck in the jam.Others: Have a lot of selection for the alcohol, cigar and shisha. Yes they have shisha here too.The overall experience was really good.

Totally loved the ambience of the place!! The managers and waiters were quick and responsive and the music had us bumping all night. Very well worth visiting.

Nice place for romantic dinning, good kl view. Delicious foods. But I am dissapointed with the food delivering timing. This is my second time visiting and waited almost 45min for the foods to be arrived, same as my first visit. This place is not suitable for those who are coming in hunger.

The shisha is like breathing in air, complete waste of money. Blue pea cocktail tasted like water. Service was the only redeeming quality.

Mantra Bar, simply the place to be in KL!Delicious food, fancy created cocktails and this amazing shisha.. infront of this beatiful skyline. Just awesome! The whole team is good mooded, friendly and very helpful! I cant wait to go back to my absolut favourite place in KL!Its a open secret that Mantra is an amazing place, so they are always busy, if you wanna have a table for a group Its recommendable to call them in advance and book a table. We where always lucky to dirctly be able to find a spot. The staff is really helpfull and support you to find a place.I will come back, thats for sure!

I came back because this was one great place my colleagues used to like, and my first time experience was good. Waited for an hour for a salad, that’s why it’s empty on the peak hour of Saturday, I guess same reason people don’t come back here anymore. The manager has tried to comfort saying the system issue and missed the order. My suggestion is they should really focus on improving operations efficiency, if there is really a challenge, their waiter needs to be trained to monitor order fulfilled progress and manually check back in kitchen to make things happen or, manage expectations of the customer. This bar used to be the most recommended bar in Kuala Lumpur, hope they can get back to the level they should have been.

Disappointed. We were served drinks(cocktailsthat were very watered down. It was like drinking expensive juice. A lot of drinks on the menu were not available as well. The view is ok for a rooftop bar. However service was good with friendly waiters.

Nice rooftop bar overlooking KL. Could be cleaner. Friendly staff. Best is the outdoor seating. Prices bit on the high side. Popular with after work crowd. Reservations are advisable.We came for some happy hour drinks. Hoegarden & Kronenburg were nice & cold. Only tried their masala fries which was decent. We stayed till the sun set.Overall might return for a hangout if nearby.

I would to thanks the team to host us and especially happened an incident that my mum drop her wallet at yr place, truly appreciate the assistance from the team and we able to found the wallet! Have a good experience here, once a again thank you so much, we will drop by again for another occasion event!

Two stars for friendly staff,But 20 MYR for a red bull, and 58 for a Moscow mule that was predominantly ginger ale is laughable.The sours are also made with a canister.All this would be excusable if the decor and environment was up to par, but the furniture is full of cigarette burns and dust.Don’t charge premium prices if you don’t provide a premium experience.

Waited more than 1 hour for nachos, more than 2 hours for nasi lemak. Informed at least 5 waiters, all of them said the food was coming, but it never arrived. In the end I left without having dinner.Please do not come to this place. For your info, the nachos chips were brittle and broken into tiny tiny pieces.Worst bar experience in Bangsar.

There is one place I feel the most at ease in KL. That’s sitting on the swing chair in Mantra with a pisco sour in my hand!If you want to pose (oh dear!then you can do that here.If all you are after are great-tasting, well-made cocktails this is also the place to visit. They don’t come in stupid glasses with plastic umbrellas, but are made simply and correctly. Try the pisco sour, agua fresca and classic margarita, to name but three.If you just want to relax, this is jewel of a place to come after work.The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is great for a bar.Recommended.

Pretty cool bar located on the roof top of Bangsar Village. The view from the city is amazing.

the first time I went to Mantra, I had a fairly good experience but my recent experience was so bad, I dont think I would ever come back.I made a reservation a few days beforehand and they seated us at the very far end, where no one attended to us as no waiters walked by and we even had to call their phone number for them to come.one of my friends asked for the shisha menu, three times, and it never came.the tables were sticky and even when the customer seated behind us left, no one came to clean up the tables.we requested to change seats, if there are tables available because no one was attending to us at the back. and when they finally moved us, the table wasnt even cleaned yet. we had to stand there and wait for them to clean it.we also had to wait more than 1 hour, 2 hours even, for our drinks to arrive and when we called for the waiters to check on it (multiple times), no one respond to us. and when they did, they never went to check on our orders as requested and we had to call for them again and again.and the drinks arrived diluted and warm.we asked to speak to the lady manager to talk about the poor service weve experienced and the staff just walked off and never called her as we requested and we had to ask another staff to call for her.when we confronted the manager on how bad is the service was she told us they have a event going on so that’s why they didn’t manage to serve us. but why were we not informed about it beforehand?if you choose to host an event and let other customers who are not involved into the bar, then why are you giving us excuses for your poor service. if you cant manage it, then just let your customers know that youre closed for an event.mind you that the service charge we were billed was RM40+if youre going to charge your customers that much for service charge, at least do better. we had to walk around to look for the waiters since no one attended to us.the drinks were fine, but please reconsider your service crew.

Nice rooftop bar with Bangsar view. Its crowded over the weekends usually, just make sure to call them up for reservations.Its also a Shisha bar, if you dislike being a passive smoker, probably best to reserve the outdoor seats instead.

A very pretty view of KL to view all 4 skyscraper. Food was delicious but it takes a long time to be served.

Everything was good until the payment time. The staff itself late to remind about the restaurant rules for debit/credit payment. Talk about the foods and drinks price, I felt it quite pricy. Ordered a plate of nachos, the taste not bad. But double price compared to other bar/hipster cafes. I think this bar should lower down the price on certain menus because we still need to pay more on taxes. For me the tax also too much for a person compared to other place that have some vibes like here.

Beautiful place. Def will give 5/5 from the staff managing our reservation till how they made my special ones bday even more special. Loved the food here too. Tried their seafood saffron risotto and crispy chicken mantou slider. Price wise reasonable too. Love their liquor and cigar selections too. Each and every staff here very friendly too.

Lovely bar with friendly waiters. Service was not the most efficient but there were a lot of people! We all got what we wanted in the end though.Some good snacks in the form of pizzas and sliders and decent happy hour promos up till 8pm.Id recommend drinks on a night out here.

Since the last time I was here, everything has improved: The service is better, staff are friendlier, the quality of food is much better and prices are acceptable. Big big improvement. I’d be happy to come back. Well done guys. Keep it up!

Came on a Sunday evening for drinks followed by dinner.To be honest I was pleasantly surprised. Ive been here previously and didnt like the place as it was too crowded and full of beautiful people taking instagram shots (which made me feel fat and unattractive).But this time around a friend invited me over and it was great. Not too many people, alcohol during happy hour was cheap, food was great and decently priced, the team there were friendly and the view as usual is beautiful. Music wasnt loud either which was great.A good place to go if you are looking for a place to end your Sunday.

Entertainment in Malaysia doesnt feel like usual. Slow volume music. Food average. Shisha are fancy there. Pricy. Overall, just okay.

The waiter forgot the order right after taking it. The food presented nicely but the crust of the fried chicken burger is too hard, tasted like cooked the oil with plastic. Can only have beer in the bar but not the food at all

Rooftop bar with great scenic views.Food is average I would say, pizza and fries were good to go with drinks as snacks. My friend and I didn’t enjoy drinks at the second visit which was cocktail mojito and grey goose with soda water but Sangria and mocktail(strawberry lemonadewas pretty good. Some of staff’s service is very nice and friendly

Great environment and service. Food is average and the shisha was nice, although in my opinion, way overpriced. Shisha was smooth throughout the session and the flavor was nice.

Love the rooftop scenics. My picture obviously doesnt do much justice to the beautiful skyline. Also very happy to see that they are adhering to the standard SOPs and it definitely feels safe in the open air. Also very glad they adhere to the official closing timings.

Beautiful place, nice chill out music and a decent view of Jalan Maarof from the outdoors seating. Drinks were quite nice - tried their signature cocktails, one served in teapot was refreshing.

Definitely one of the more classy night out experience of Bangsar. Located on the rooftop of the Bangsar Shopping Center, the breezy wind and the night view definitely contributes to experience. Items on the menu is slightly higher than usual but well worth it for the ambience. Cocktails here are brilliant too.

Nice rooftop bar in Bangsar. Good views and comfortable place to sit and relax while enjoying a drink. Typical bar snacks are ok, good happy hour specials. Friday afternoon there is a DJ playing some good tunes to enhance the mood. Attentive service staff too!

The ambiance is great, music at just about the right volume where you can strike up a convey without screaming and still enjoy the beats. Drinks are a bit pricey however you pay for the view and atmosphere. The food however was bit disappointing, the Wagyu sliders were overcooked and the buns were burnt. Not something I call appetising. In conclusion come for the drinks stay for the views and go elsewhere for the food.

I like the ambience and the view. Food is pricey. The mantao soft shell crab is good. The aglio olio not bad but portion is small hence why I feel its pricey.

Great place to bring your date on casual date night. Atmosphere is just cosy and sweet. In terms of food, it wasn’t as great as before this. Drinks doesn’t taste like what you ordered i.e Margarita taste like mango juice. Recommended to go for happy hour and order chicken slider. Price was affordable for roof bar in Bangsar.

Yummy bar bites, overpriced bottles, averagely priced cocktails (some are strong, some are too mild), pretty shisha but super expensive (RM120++ for that bong!)View is just average = housing area and a very tiny KL tower / KLCC, no sunset view

Good vibes, good design and good drinks and food at Mantra. HYGIENE ALERT: before sipping from your glass, sniff out the glass first. The wine glass was foul smelling and I had to request the glass be changed (if service was better, they would have given a fresh glass of wine instead of merely pouring the wine into a fresh,clean glass), and a friend said her glass of water smelt like someone had puked in the glass -- and the glass of water was replaced... probably poorly trained unhygienic immigrant workers doing a shoddy work of cleaning the glassware etc.
