Superb experience of seeing real anatomical and pathological organs of a human bod very closely. Worth seeing for medical or biology loving students.
I loved this place. You get to see the real organs and tissues of humans and animals. Very educational and a must visit place.
Great place to explpre the anatomy of human body as well as other vertebrates. Specimens are self explanatory, even a layman can understand.
Can see lot of bones, best for childrens to visit, have lot to learn
The museum is filled with anatomy of animals and a great place for anyone to look after. But to my knowledge I did find some errors in naming the scientific names neither underlined separately nor italicized and snake were tagged under poisonous category where all the snaks are either venomous or non-venomous. These things should be taken care by Manipal i suppose because many peope can learn the same.
Would enjoy if its interest you. Provides great knowledge n understanding about our anatomy.
Been there 2 times, its good for kids to understand anatomy and its fascinating to see how our bodies are formed and how complex our bodies are. Really good collection of almost everything. Photos not allowed and that is a good rule.
It was a very nice place . They had organised very neatly, but its related to pathology and antonym
Very useful for students. Full body information is there

They look like freshed one, but they are years and years older. Everything has been kept inside formaline. Various types of snake bodies can be witnessed. Human body parts with detailed structure have been kept. Foetus are of many. Unborn child specimen are more than 100 with different types like conjoint twins, babies with no brain growth, cancer in foetus, dead foetus, twins with many unhealthy conditions etc. You must visit this place to understand how important it is to take care of a pregnant woman!!!!! Human body parts with cancer are well described with live parts here. Lung with cancer, liver with cancer, abdomen cancer and many more. All the deseased parts are well seen in live. So dont leave a chance to visit here if you are in Manipal. The only huge museum related to medical in and around Mangalore and Udupi it is. Medical students understand much more better easily than others. If you have more interest to see each specimen carefully you have to spend 2 hrs. More than 500 specimen are here to watch. Worth the visit!!! Got more knowledge of human body.

Very good musium to get knowledge about human body and its parts best for medical students and college students and general public
It was a great and knowledgeable experience, even though a tad bit scary. It can be slightly overwhelming, especially if you are visiting for the first time, but definitely worth it. The museum contains a huge number of factual information and detailed real-life graphical displays of human and animal anatomy and pathology, with displays of normal cases as well as anomalies/diseased cases.
Well preserved specimen of real human and animal body parts with description.Cost: 20Rs per head.
This is an amazing museum to see and really understand human anatomy...it has everything starting from skeleton, preserved human body, fetus and all diseases a human life can experience...not advised for weak hearted people...but otherwise, must see for everyone...
Brilliant concept. Probably the only museum in India catering to anatomy and pathology. Extensive collection. Four hundred plus specimens on display
Very great full collection done by the manipal institutions.....the models kept here are the real body parts of humans.....so much to understand much time to be spent there.....the entry cost for each person is Rs.10 and actually worth itt...
I have wonderful experience here. Anatomy and pathology models are neatly, serially arranged with explanation. Most I like the whole building has Air conditioning.
One of best musium in India related to anatomy. Good collection of the overall life. This musium is too much useful to select carrier for school students. Also good knowledge to common public.
Best place for kids learning and knowledge of human, animal biological
The museum has got a great collection of specimens and models of humans and other vertebrates. There are separate sections for anatomy and pathology. The anatomy section comprises of comparative anatomy, and specimens arranged system wise. The pathology section comprises of cancers, infections and abnormal embryogenesis. It takes almost 1.5-2 hrs just to look at the specimens. Itll take much longer if we study them in detail. The complete skeletons of a human, horse, tiger and snakes, and the skulls of an elephant and a whale are some of the highlights of the museum. Theres an entry fee of 10₹ for the public, whereas it is free for students. Parking space is available just outside the building. Photography is prohibited inside the building. Its a great place to revise your knowledge of anatomy and pathology, or to learn a lot if youre a novice.
Very nice place for biology lovers😍 and doctors and students. Here we were told not to take photos, so no photos. Very knowledgable place. Contains information about both animals and human being body.
One should visit to understand the anatomy of human body and few animals. Visit Helps in understanding the medical term to some extent.. interesting facts about organs are displayed at few places.. could not click due to restrictions.Ideal time- all week days except Sunday between 10am-5pm.Ticket charge- 10rs per head.
The information what we get from this museum is awesome. From the beginning to end it was full of exited details of human and other animal details. It as sad to see some of the exhibits but the self explaining bulletin boards are good enough to understand everything by common man.Dont forget to read the interesting facts pasted on the wall for each room.Really worth the visit for teen age kids and adults.

An interesting place for the people who are interested in human and animal anatomy and pathology. There are lots of preserved samples. Most of the exhibits seems to be project works by Manipal University students. Entry ticket is of Rs 10/-. Photography is not allowed inside the museum.
Manipal itself is a beautiful city. You feel like you are in some foreign country. Anatomy museum is awesome where you can see almost all creatures real dead bodies and body parts preserved with chemicals. Try to visit manipal in rainy/winter season then it is more beautiful.
This place has many interesting specimens, that arent easy to find. Definitely a good place to visit for those who are interested in anatomy.
