Manifesto Coffee Bar & Eatery - Cafe in Pangkalpinang, Indonesia
Manifesto Coffee Bar & Eatery in Pangkalpinang
Description
Super disappointed that this place isn’t wheelchair accessible for people . No one should have to feel singled out in a coffee setting . I feel like if you are going to have only one place to order you should put a ramp inside so the people who are unable to step up your step can actually get their coffee .
MoreVery nice mocha. Not overly sweet. Breve has pleasant bitter afterburner hubby quite liked.
MoreGreat coffee and friendly service
You have my respect for making pour overs baristas. Solid ambiance and most importantly delicious coffee 👌🏼
MoreGreat coffee! Espresso flavor is to the perfect point. The store’s interior design has its industrial touch; the other half of the store keeps its garage layout. Located on street level. Easy parking.
MoreHonestly, the vibe was pretty cold. The baristas were very odd when taking out order - it was very unwelcoming and uncomfortable. I can’t explain it other than just uncomfortable. They also seemed to grossly overcharge. $2.50 for a splash of oat milk? $15 for two macchiatos? That’s ridiculous. The coffee was good, but we won’t be returning due to the overpriced coffee and cold service.
MoreThis is definitely in the conversation for my favorite place to get coffee. The atmosphere is ripe with character. The walls are painted black with exposed wood on the ceiling. Its spacious. Theres great music on in the background. Most importantly, the coffee is great. I highly recommend this place if you want a great cup of coffee at a rad location in Tacoma.
MoreDiscovered this hidden gem yesterday. Its chill. They roast their coffee in the lobby. Owner and barister are lovely. Good coffee too. Will be back
MoreHandily winning the title of best espresso in Hilltop, manifesto’s vibe and coffee make it a must stop for those passing by. If you’re mega cool Katie may even chat you up.I would like to amend my previous review and add that the mochas here are dangerously good. 😤
MoreSuch a great simple spot for a coffee. Theyve got a small menu and offer only a few syrups, but its all excellent and the baristas are always real nice.
MoreThe best espresso in the Tacoma area. Their single origin beans always filter into some of my favorite pour overs. Baristas are always down to earth and straight to the point with recommendations.
MoreCoffee is great, but appears to be the local homeless hangout. Was concerned for my safety while enjoying my coffee due to couple having altercation inside the shop.
MoreUnpretentious, comfortable place to read or get work done. Its also good for a date, or otherwise meet with friends. The great coffee doesnt hurt either.
MorePretty good coffee is brewed here. It has a real nice heavy roast flavor in my opinion, which I really enjoy. What brought me in was that I’ve had there coffee while eating breakfast at the Art House Cafe. I don’t drink lattes or put milk and sugar in my coffee, but If you like your coffee black, Manifesto is for you. FYI, you can either drink you coffee outside or indoors and they only have up to 12 ounces.
MoreThe coffee is pure deliciousness, the service is outstanding, the atmosphere is of true Tacomian grit. If you love real coffee, go here and you wont be disappointed.
MoreThis is a coffee shop that truly evokes the expression "theres more than meets the eye". It keeps its offerings simple, focusing on quality not quantity. Uncompromising in style or offerings yet solid on ensuring all feel welcome and understand what they are there for - coffee as an art and a point of community connection.
MoreBest coffee I’ve had in a long time!
Five stars because they were playing Tool when I was there. Its a simple menu with only the basics. The coffee was good. Little pastries in bags were fine. No touch pay. Friendly staff and plenty of space.
MoreI always hit Manifesto when I am in the neighborhood. Just finished a truly spectacular cappuccino...rivals anything I have ever had, be it in the region, Germany or Italy. Really lovely flavor to their roasting.
MoreThis is a solid coffee option in a field of good coffee roasters in the south sound. Solid medium blend with a new option of in house nitro brew. Would recommend.
MoreTHE Hilltop neighborhood roaster. Go there for grungy, anarchist, hipster vibes without them trying too hard. Best for hang out, getting work done, or curbside in and out coffee. Katie is also the friendliest barista!
MoreOverpriced coffee beans. Was referred here by a friend, the drink was good, the whole beans were $21 for 12 oz. I used it in my Jura coffee machine, its was very good coffee, but I spent $10 on a pound of coffee at another local roaster on M st. and 38th st. and the coffee was just as good. Save your money if your buying beans for home use, go somewhere else. Also didnt understand the sour mood in the shop, weird hipster vibe, not my cup of joe.
MoreMy vote for the best coffee shop in Tacoma. I generally stick with a strong Americano but am always satisfied. Guests I bring who prefer fancier coffees are never disappointed. Great, quiet environment with WiFi to get some work done as well.
MoreDessert was AWESOME tiramisu cannolis what else can you ask for. Price was very reasonable since you get it all for one price. COME HUNGRY AND PACE YOURSELF. Alison WAS AMAZING. Absolutely loved it. Huge selection of Italian dishes of all types. Entrees: Chicken Cachitore, espresso crusted pork, garlic meatballs... Etc. Large selection of desserts including fresh fruit.
MoreGreat coffee! Some of the best, wonderful atmosphere and good tunes. One of my favorite spots to study and overall the staff are extremely kind with only one exception. It can be bit daunting if you aren’t “in” with the edgy weird social crowd within Tacoma and people can be kind of clique-y and exclusive. But definitely worth checking out.
MoreEspresso wasnt very good, I travel the entire Northwest and have had much better coffee. No real other complaints, typical hipster coffee shop vibe. Decent espresso in the hood.
MoreWe really wanted to love this place, and it isnt bad, but for us it wasnt an excellent place for our weekend coffee excursion. The music was a smidge head-bangy, which is cool in the evening at a bar, but not when we were trying to read the paper and enjoy some casual conversing. The atmosphere is pretty cool, but seems a bit unfinished. The coffee pretty good, but not addictively so.The staff was very friendly and the manifesto coffee mugs are super cool.
MoreIf you are into coffee or espresso this place is awesome and they roast their own coffee. It is absolutely delicious coffee. Just dont expect to get a flavored latte or frappuccino. Best espresso machine ever, love the Slayer.
MoreIve had the pleasure of watching this little coffee shop grow into something special. The roasts are spectacular, and the crew know their stuff. When they add a roast, everyone is informed as to answer any questions you may have.I also love the nerdy love they give.
MoreThis place defines fresh roasted coffee. I check the roast date before I buy bags of coffee and when shopping here I find all there bags to be within the last couple of days. I also typically get a latte here when I stop by for my bagged coffee and find them to be on point.
MoreWas looking for a a place to study on a Sunday morning and found this place recommended from a quick google search. The place is cute and very warm and comforting. The space has limited seating, so I didnt end up staying to study, but the coffee was great and their menu is very straight forward and to the point. Definitely recommend stoping by!
MoreStarted coming here about a month ago. Ive now been here a dozen times. Perfect spot to get work done, listen to good music, and drink delicious fresh espresso. The majority of the baristas are on point and know how to poor good shots, but if youre an outsider, they wont spend much time chit chatting with you. Which if you want to get some work done, is absolutely perfect.
MoreIts always a good sign when a coffee shop does not offer really anything else but coffee, thats what people come here for - great coffee
Moreamazing coffee and an amazing barista! had an iced latte and ethiopia yigarcheff cold brew, which I could taste apricot, peach and strawberry-ish. I will definitely visit again to get the whole bean.
MoreBest coffee in the Puget Sound! You can watch them roast coffee right when you walk in! I have been a barista for years and must recommend the Mexican Chiappas coffee, it is life changing! You are doing yourself a disservice if you arent buying a pound of their beans to brew at home or at work. Their pastries are the bomb, the staff is very nice, their prices are great.
MoreGood people, good vibes, cool shop, and wonderful coffee. We buy it for our coworking space, and I get to be a hero to all our members when I bring in a 5lb bag of freshly roasted beans. Keep up the great work guys.
MoreThey have the (actualbest coffee in town, by far! They always have amazing service, treat people well, and are so welcoming of the local community. Manifesto is all around the best local coffee shop in the Tacoma area!
MoreFavorite Coffee Shop in Town - Jack, Justin and Wes are all super friendly, great price, best cup of coffee in Tacoma. Try their "Spicy Cola" syrup if youre feeling adventurous.
MoreSuch a great place in hilltop. Genuinely friendly baristas, good java, and a nice vibe to hang out or to study. This place has a much appreciated different vibe than your average "hip" coffee shop. Theyre well-behaved-and-leashed-dog-friendly as well, which is always a bonus. Thank you for adding some love to the hilltop area!
MoreCozy atmosphere, friendly folks, and most importantly great coffee!
Good coffee, good service, and a really well done industrial chic decor. There is a selection of comfy chairs, bar stools, and even a booth. The wifi works well. There are also a few wrapped pastries for sale, and a coffee roasting setup in the main area, which is fun to stare at. I give it 4 stars because when I visited the shop was playing some kind of scream-o rock opera soundscape as ambient music. So bring your headphones.
MoreMy first visit here. We had a very smooth cold brew on the rocks and an excellent latte. Wes was friendly and welcoming. No high sugar Fru fru drinks, just good coffee, hot or cold.
MoreLocal coffee roaster with amazing coffee. When you want to have a cup of coffee made to perfection, Manifesto is the place to be. Cozy atmosphere on Hilltop with the perfect pour of coffee. Coffee is simple here; espresso, late, cappuccino, machiatto. No frills, never bitter; adding cream or syrup is almost a sin compared to the amazing taste of the pure espresso drip. The Baristas make their job look like art in motion, they are so skilled at their craft its almost crushing to put a top on the to go cup, and the taste... Divine. This spot is a Hilltop gem.
MoreReally great local roaster and cafe with nice friendly people running it. They are expanding which should make the cafe experience even better!
MoreManifesto is no frills, in a really good way. I think its almost a perfect opposing force to Starbucks: Theres no gentle, generic music playing. Manifesto has just a few stools and chairs instead of overstuffed chairs everywhere. A few carefully selected posters on white plaster instead of generic hotel-room-style art and textured walls. Pleasant, reserved service by people who are happy to talk coffee instead of three Starbucks employees asking how my day was. An incredibly short drink menu with just the basics and everything brewed expertly, instead of four sizes of 50 different niche and seasonal beverages and a barista figuring it out from a card. These guys are the real deal.
MoreThis shop is the local in and out for your local neighborhood coffee. Regulars come here to mingle in this small space to catch up over the best cold brew in Tacoma. Glad to come here regularly and I’m excited to see how this small roaster and coffee shop expand and distinctively give Hilltop the hip place to be.
MoreBest coffee in Tacoma for sure. They roast their own beans in house and you can smell it from the street!! The staff are always friendly and nice. Their milk is always over steamed so I stick with an espresso, which is always on point! Highly recommended if your in the Hilltop neighborhood.
MoreSuperb little coffee shop. They roast and sell their product out of one room. They have very limited seating so, its a place to stop but probably not stay for too long. They sell drip, espresso, whole and ground beans and even some manifesto swag. Give it a try!
MoreGreat atmosphere and even better coffee! Quick & awesome baristas!
This great, new roaster in the center of Hill Top is a welcome addition to the neighborhood! Delicious, proper espresso and pour overs. As someone who enjoys Vanilla Breves - it means something when I tell you a plain Macchiato here is so satisfying. You dont need sugar or flavours when espresso is this well pulled!Brownie points: They were playing Magic the Gathering and have D&D books for perusal on the shelves. Excellent!Visit, get caffeinated and feel good patronising a worthy local business!
