Mango Vegetarian & Vegan - Vegetarian restaurant in Bangkok, Thailand
Im not vegan or vegi, but Ill give credit when its due this place was really really good. The staff were polite, and the spot is really busy, so give yourself a little time (not a lot its a small joint). We went back like 4 times in 3 days. Worth it, with a fair price!
The best vegan food Ive had in a while - super fresh and delicious!!!+ friendly staff and 2 cute cats
A vegan & health nut paradise this is the one true raw vegan gems in Bangkok that I believe deserves a visit from any passerby.Exteriority of the restaurant could use some work but the food experience was all that matters. Located right around the walking corners of the backpacker zone near the attraction so expect the place to be packed with foreign tourists upon your visit.Seating order would be my one complaint as it is shared between two large tables which can be problematic especially when the person you’re sitting next to is being loud and obnoxious.Although I have to say this is one of the very few places that actually serves minimally processed raw freshly grown out of the soil nutrient dense food that will for sure nourish any living body thriving off the modern diet without the hassle of chemical flavorings.Every ingredient tasted fresh and organic, you could almost taste the love bestowed upon these vegetables. Their serving portions is more than generous and satisfying to any stomachs albeit a big one as well with no exceptions. Will find a schedule to visit this place again.
Delicious and beautiful. Unbelievable. Some of the best and most innovative vegan food I’ve ever eaten
Brilliant food! They have a wide variety of dishes and the peanut sauce is excellent!
Wonderful, cozy restaurant. It fills you up well, the food is addictive and the staff is top notch. I forgot a shopping bag and couldnt go back until the next day -- of course it was still there. Thats honesty. TOP🪷😘
Good food and pleasant service. And surprisingly, reasonable prices (similar place in Europe would be ~2x more expensive than regular restaurants).
Very friendly people and the food was so delicious! My girlfriend is vegetarian but not me and we both loved the food!If you are in Bangkok I would recommend this place :)
Worth the wait! We couldn’t get in at first so went back after 30 mins and managed to squeeze in. Really tasty food (huge portion sizes!and lovely staff.Loved the cats visiting us too!If you need to wait, Rambuttri street has lovely bars if you don’t fancy the loudness of khao san!
Mango is a hidden gem in Bangkok, a vegan/vegetarians dream. They have a wide array of dishes, which are seasoned to perfection. The area is very mellow and relaxing, and the restaurants atmosphere very calm and peaceful. This will be my weekly treat, when I crave a good meal, and a zen-like atmosphere.Easily one of the best restaurants Ive experienced, since coming to Thailand.Oh yes, the coconut, vegan ice-cream is a real treat, and a must have when you visit. The same for the fresh-baked cookies. The owner really does a number on the vegan treats!
Great food! Must-go for every vegan/vegetarian visiting Bangkok.
Incredible food. Huge portions! This place is usually always packed. The spring rolls or “rolls” are under the salad section. The peanut sauce is insane. Best In the world I swear haha very different than your average peanut sauce. We also got a nice like creamy chipotle as well. The rolls are just insanely good.I also got the roasted veggie salad. Again, huge portion and everything was delicious and crisp and fresh. The service was great, everyone seemed so happy to be there. 3 cute cats as well!
Ate there 3 times over 4 days in Bkk and that speaks for itself. The place is designed especially to live up to the tourists fantasy about a good vegetarian/vegan meal eaten in Thailand. Fancy, instagrammable, tasty, doesnt give you food poisoning.
One of our, my friend and I, favourite restaurants in the whole city, if not the whole world. The food is amazing and we’ve been back two times. We will soon come back to Bangkok, and our plan is to at least go two times more before leaving. The staff is so kind, and we love their cats too. The atmosphere is so cozy and friendly. Nothing unpleasant here at all!My friend came back 2 times for the chocolate lava cake and can’t stop thinking about it. The portions are huge too. I loved their banana pancakes!☺️
Best salad of my life. So delicous!! Although more pricier than the local restaurants, worth it. Khob khun ka!! 💕
Red curry was really good and the Singaporean noodles too, but the vegetables in the noodles had no taste so it was a bit difficult to eat them without a sauce. Also don’t expect kombucha to taste like a usual one sold in bottles, here I guess it’s home made and is very difficult to drink, it has a very strong taste of vinegar. The Thai milk tea was really good.
Such good food oh my gosh 🤤 The place was packed when we arrived so they told us to come back in an hour. The wait was every bit worth it. Their vegan options aren’t necessarily local if you’re in Bangkok to visit but they do stand out as just a great restaurant on their own.
Avoid if you have a health related reasons not to eat gluten as their "gluten free" dishes are not actually gluten free. We asked (in Thai mind youwhether are their dishes gluten free and safe for a coeliac. They advised that half of their GF dishes actually wasnt gluten free. After further questions we had it turned out that the other half wasnt either. It seems like they are not even aware what ingredients contain gluten. For example they told us that they just use a normal soy sauce and didnt know that was a problem. The person working in the kitchen was at least quite helpful but the waitress was super rude and did not care one bit. Not sure whether they understand what could they cause to people with health issues. If youre coeliac, run!
Charming little vegan restaurant. All the food was first rate and critically for us, the staff went to great lengths to ensure we had the gluten-free meal that we needed. It doesnt sell alcohol but theyll let you bring beers from the 7-11 opposite without imposing a corkage charge.
The food taste are ok though oriented towards sweetness for all ordered dishes. The staff have very good service minded but not the owner. The price is very reasonable. The restaurant targets at foreigners visiting kao San road than local Thai, thus the taste and decoration gears towards international customers.
Most of their dishes are very overpriced for what you receive. The kombucha tastes like processed/packaged juice with absolutely zero fermentation to it. They also often decide to randomly close with no notice, like today...we drove 40 mins in the pouring rain to get here and they just decided to stay closed for the day. I did not want to come but my partner is strict vegan and has a hard time finding suitable places to eat. We will have to find a new cafe asap. On the plus side, the cafe is clean & designed thoughtfully.
The food was amazing and they had many different options of food and drinks.Really tasty, recommended!
WOW!!! A ‘Mango Restaurant Salad’ in Bangkok, Thailand - Mango, cabbage, strawberries, onions, pineapple, lettuce, blueberries, carrots, watercress, pistachio nuts, beansprouts, seeds, papaya, apple, tomatoes, peppers, pomegranate, and a fancy vinaigrette. AMAZING!!!
Best place in Bangkok! Super nice waitress, cool beverages and expceptional food. We came back two days in a row cause we wanted to try out all the courses. Big love
This is a must stop if you’re traveling through! Look at the pictures, enough said. Even taste better than it looks. We went back to back days when we stayed at the Old Capital Bike Inn.
Outstanding food & has a very warm, homely feeling.I ordered the falafel burger & a Lychee soda. Both were really tasty & represented very good value comfort food for all palates. An easy walk from the racket of khao san road & closer to the much nicer soi rambuttri.Top marks from me
Great vibe and staff helpful. Menus in English so it’s easy. Had the Tom Kha and Durian Curry just out of curiosity. Tom Kha was nice but it was like semi cooked veggies tossed into a coconut soup. I later ordered a green curry take away and it was almost identical. Durian curry was a bit of a disappointment I guess, because it tasted almost like sweet potato. And to make it worse sweet potato was also in it so I was having trouble deciding if there was durian or not!Anyway giving extra star because it’s air conditioned, English menu, great vibe and decor and vegan to boot. I’m sure the other dishes are great.
Vegan pulled mushroom burger. Absolutely recommend !Just one thing- menu without pics. is not comfortable to choose.
We (and many otherscame several times here during our stay in Bangkok. Its delicious, fresh and healthy food (classical Thai, but also stuff like burgers, all with a fancy touchin a stylish environment. The food looks btw very instagramable 😉 Also the cute cats are worth to mention 🥰If you want to treat yourself with a healthy and yummy meal, then come here! 🤤🧘🏻♀️🥗
We looked for a place to get lunch while we waited for our bus to Koh Tao.Were glad to decided to come here because we havent eaten such good food since were in Asia. We had no clue what the chicken substitute was but there was no difference from consistency and taste. Also the juices, the thai tea and the iced coffee were superb and everything was served in a beautiful way (the food on wooden plates). Also the staff was totally kind and made you feel very welcome.Unfortunately we
After so many good reviews I was really disappointed. The fried tempeh was totally tasteless and the curry had big chunks of almost raw vegetables, which also didnt taste great as they didnt have the time to soak in the flavour. And its quite expensive, comparing to other local bars.
Delicious fresh vegan and veggie food, a real treat and ideal for all the family, young and old. In fact, the menu was so large, it took us ages to choose.Everything from soups to salads to burger to traditional Thai or modern European. Delicious kombucha, the list could go on.Comfy inside, friendly staff and good prices. Delighted with our choice. 👍🏼
Honestly didnt look like much outside and is in the backpacker part of Bangkok that we never visit. But, walking inside, it was a different world.A large menu and extremely reasonable prices with a very kitschy decor. Service was quick and friendly though seating was slightly problematic with one giant table. Some guests were a bit reluctant to sit next to others. We enjoyed homemade kombucha, steamed gyoza, massaman curry and a spinach mushroom omelette.Everything was excellent and the breakfast was a complete meal with all the accessories. I was full all day.Really enjoyed the place and cant wait to return.
I absolutely loved this place! There was plenty of choice with a lot of variety for everyone. The staff was very friendly and very willing to help. But most important of all the food was delicious. It was well deserved and full of taste! We will come back for sure!
A new experience of vegetarian and vegan food!!! Even my meat eater friend admitted that he liked it. The food is subtle and super nourishing (I personally love tempeh here). Definitely come back to try more menus!
Super cute place, lovely interior. Friendly staff and food is very tasty and served nicely. It’s always a pleasure to have a fully vegetarian menu. Prices are high though compared to other places.
Highly recommend. The best vegetarian restaurant
Smoothies are really large and meals are so good. One of the best places for vegan meals in Bangkok.
Nice place located on Khaosan district. Food maybe not 100% thai traditional but very eatable even for kids. Plates are making the dishes look awesome. Around also mamy street food sellers so the choice belongs to you.
Nice food ! Tasty and qualified ~love the power bowl ! And fried rice ~
Overrated based in my experience! The reviews were all really good but honestly the food was below average - undercooked and plain - it almost felt like it was heated up in a microwave - not very prepared and all dishes are pretty much replicas / low effort. Also prices aren’t worth it, you’re better off with any street food or literally anywhere else probably. Obviously if you’re vegan then this may be your only hope but even then just firm some meat like it’s not worth it.
Delicious, Healthy, Vegetarian food. Lovely decoration and nice Staff.Recommended 🌷
Worth the price - had an amazing spicy curry. Had to add some chili though. But the ingredients are very good and specialCan’t wait to come back and try the other dishesTry the kombucha as well - I had the passion fruit one and it was deliciousLove this place - it is on the pricy side but yumWent back again today and had the specialHung Lay CurryExcept from different veg there was no difference to the red curry I had beforeAlso very mild Not strong and more westernizedFor 165 thb it’s a lotI am not sure if I will come back
This place is SO good. We have been back multiple times, and we absolutely love it. Its a bit more expensive than other places, but you get wide range of excellent quality ingredients. The currys for example are 135B, and rice is extra on top of that, but I think considering the size of the meals and the standard of food they create, it is completely worth it. The staff are friendly, the dining area is clean and well presented. If you want some quality food and you arent on a tight budget, I urge you to try Mango.
Great vegan restaurant. Me and my partner couldnt stop coming back here as it was simply amazing. Totally recommend, even if youre not vegan!
Have been here 5 times and will definitely come back again and again. Delicious vegeterian & vegan food. The restaurant has a nice interior and a large menu. And if youre lucky you can even cuddle a cat.
Fantastic place! Beautiful decorations! Great smell! Great service and of course super delicious food! It was unexpectedly delicious. I ordered a fried rice but it was the best fried rice I ever had! Very creative, healthy and delicious food!
My favorite vegetarian restaurant thus far 🥰🥰🥰 Ive been eating here for almost three years now. Needless to say that the food quality and taste are still as remarkable as the first day I tried them.A few things that I need to mention, the restaurant has several cats, just in case youre afraid or allergic to them (or love them! 🥰). Their food portions are also quite big. You might need to be mindful of that when you place an order, if you dont want to suffer later 😂Apologies for the lack of food photo. I usually get too excited and start eating before I remember to take a photo 😂
This place is unbelievably good. The portions are very big, the vegetables are fresh and the food is very tasty. The creations of the owner are extremely delicious. We have eaten in a lot of restaurants and traveled threw Asia. But this restaurant is very special. If we are in Bangkok again, we will take a taxi to come here!! Plus the staff is very friendly. Try it on your own.
Amazing! Great place and the food really but really tasty, its delicious how the flavours are combined, I really recommend if youre looking for a place gluten free and vegan in Bangkok, its near Khaosan Road. Sometimes the place is really busy but you get one table very quick. My favourite place in Bangkok. You leave this lovely place with your little belly full and happy.
