Mangel Halto Bar in Oranjestad

Sweet spot! Our first day we were hungry it was mid day so we couldn’t walk far we got here and the lady said they weren’t cooking anymore. I guess she saw our faces of starvation and decided to cook us something. After that, we visited this place a couple of times we always had a good moment there!

Best day drinking bar on the island. Local as local gets. Always characters hanging at the bar, and always make you feel welcome.

This place is amazing. Super authentic to the Aruban vibe and overall just the best place. The woman behind the counter is a rockstar and it’s filled with locals. The food was amazing and we went back twice in 2 nights. It’s a 2 beer wait for the food and it is so pleasant. There are surprise fries in our orders and we highly recommend the curry combo, and the shrimp chow mein. Table slapping good on the shrimp omelet. Go here.

Are lunch at this local spot after snorkeling in Mangel Halto. This place is a hidden gem. Food was delicious. We received huge portions of sweet and sour chicken and fried pork belly for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend if you want a delicious Chinese food meal right on a beautiful beach!

The food was great and the price was right. One of the only spots we found open on Sunday! The vegetarian options arent on the menu, but they accomodated me upon request. Definitely recommend

Local, Local, Local! It was a perfect local experience. Everyone there (including local customerswere very nice and almost always smiling. Locals come for lunch, dinner, drinks, or just to chill. Nothing fancy, just good vibes. Theres a pool table, tv behind the bar, a couple plastic chairs to take outside...some bar stools...and thats about it. I didnt get a chance eat here this trip, but it was recommended and will try during out next time on the island.

Local place and delicious. If you had to mangel halto stop here for a beer and some grub. The food was really good, great Chinese food as well if you want it. Beers were cold and very low price. It can get tight in there, best for takeaway.

Very great place to have a beer/drink and it very close to Mangel Halto Beach. Crowded, but people who drink there are very friendly. Very nice and friedly staff. Great service.

Great local fusion spot. Stopped for a few beers, chicarones, plantains, and chicken chow mein. One of the top dishes also is the muscles in garlic sauce. Absolutely recommend stopping by if your at the beach.

Our Airbnb was close to the Mangel Halto Bar and Restaurant so we decided to stop there for takeout one night after a busy day! Truly my FAVORITE food that I ate during our trip, and we even went back there to eat another day during the week! The Chicken Chow Mein is the best!

Snorkeling-NotBeautiful spot to sun bathe and maybe walk in the water with water shoes as water path is full of broken shells and sharp rocks... also the depth is 2 feet at most

This was a great taste of authentic Aruba, in that youre getting the local take on East Asian food. The folks were all friendly and the beer prices were agreeable ($2-3).Its clear the building has been around for a while but if youre willing to look past the fading paint youll find a great example of everyday Aruba.

Anytime I get drunk or Im in the mood for something deep fry and greasy thats definitely the place to go and besides that the beers are cheap and one of the best Advantage also they have one of the most beautiful and peaceful Waterside right next to it

Great food at a great price. They give you a ton of food and are very friendly. Its relatively quick and easy to get and take back out to the beach close by. If youre at Mangel Halto, Id highly recommend stopping in here for lunch instead of bringing your own.
