Mandore Garden in Samdari

Well maintained Mandor gardens.This place is now a burial site for all the royal descendants that have fallen, so think of the structures (Dewaas a mausoleum for prayers and devotions to them.We found the place to be extremely well kept, free or trash ans debris all around.The park is free to enter but the museum is ₹20 for indian nationals and ₹100 for foreigners.May also be worth visiting at night, we saw LED strips all over the place but obviously we were there at 9:30AM and they werent being used.

A beautiful historical place, There are many ancient temple, mountain and gurden situated here. Very nice to visit this gurden and to enjoy our time. It is situated nearby Jodhpur Railway station and transport facilities are always available. This gurad is knows in the name of Rawans wife (Mandodari). It is well maintained and cleaned.

Dont visit in the afternoon. As benches are not clean. You cannot sit, inspite of having trees due to these dirty benches. This garden is situated near city. A temple and large variety of trees. Food stalls available outside garden. Entry gate you can see lotus pond. No entry charges.

Must visit when in jodhpur. This place has many things in the garden, a museum with archaic statues and paintings, antique architecture temples. Garden is well maintained and is coolThere are monkeys in some places but they dont bother humans. There are lots of places to eat outside.

Mandore garden is immensely beautiful. Workers who made this i really salute them. They did a lot of hard work to build this. Everyone talks of the king who made but real credit goes to workers

The place gives soothing views to eyes. It is such a beautiful place to visit. Must visit. You can spend 2-3 hours with your family and explore all the temples and fort along with children play area and food.

This garden is far away from the city.It has many ancient temples,gardens,centophes and monuments.Their architecture is an unmatched example of architecture.But the cleanliness is less here.This place needs maintenance which will add to its beauty.A must visit place.

If youre a tourist, better to avoid.Very unclean and littered place overall. Even though the timing was upto 8.30pm, there were no lights inside after sunset making the place unsafe for women, kids and elderly.Also therere lots of monkeys. So avoid loose water bottles/food packets.

Not really much to explore. The museum was really basic and not well maintained. The sitting area is nice. The garden is not maintained. Still a good place to explore if youre in town.

18th century old constructed temple structures. Idols are not present as they have been removed.Outer temple structure is marvelous. Can be maintained in a better way though. Lots of monkey army roaming around as if this is their kingdom.Parking is available. Lot of walking to cover the mandir area.

Place is good and its taking time to visit whole place but some maintenance is required to maintain garden and plants and try to visit in morning

Mandore garden is very good place its besides the mandore museum.There is no fees to visit as such.Some fees need to be paid in museum.The view is best you can click Amazing photo along with temples , which has one of the best architecture.

This is quite a large garden and has some beautiful and unique structures. There is no entry fee.It has large cenotaphs dedicated to different rulers.Do not miss the hall dedicated to all the Hindu deities.Be aware of the monkeys in the premises.

Historic Buildings of the rulers of Jodhpur. Beautiful architecture and stone carvings. There is a Museum and a Temple inside. Youll have to lookout for monkeys. There is a great viewpoint at the top which is accessible through steps. You can enjoy the sunset from there.Theres a restaurant for refreshments and food. Recently it is extremely crowded on weekends and there are lot of waste and plastics lying around. Easily reachable through local transport bus.

First of all, I want to clear that it is not a garden, it is a oldest fort in jodhpur, which was ruled by different dynasty like Naga, pratihara and in last by Rathor. River, gardens, temples and museum present inside this fort, Peace is everywhere in this fort. go deeper and explore the oldest gem 💎.

Woow! This place is just awesome. During my visit to Jodhpur, I went to Mandore in the evening and by the time I came out it was already dark. With huge area, the garden has got live folk musicians playing “padharomharedes” … you will also see lots of golden langurs playing inside the garden.

Highly underrated historical place. Its a must visit for every Jodhpur visitor. Private authority owning the maintenance needs to keep it clean and provide guide facility for this amazing architectural group of monuments.

Mandore garden is well known place and its under state government thats why its not well maintained and you can see litter everywhere which is not a good sight to hold..but the place is beautiful and its worth visiting.

Mandore Garden you need to have more energy and patience to explore this garden. It will take 2-3 hours to explore. For walking this is a very good place.After walking far long then you will find beautiful temples. The architecture is very beautiful. Very peaceful place. It is far from the city. But so many temples are there to explore in the garden.There are huge amount of monkeys are there in the garden, so please take care of your belongings.

Excellent place for a day picnic with friends & Family.Must visit for people who interested in historical monuments & architecture.There are some temple structures which are amazing and magnificent in structure with very good sculpture.

This place is quite good and have lots of things are there for visiting like temple, lots of historical monuments, playground and park also and nearby commercials are also good at affordable pricing.Any one can take public transport to visit this place and the view from this place is quite good and we can see entire Jodhpur City from here and this place is also quite.

1st visited this place back in 2015 when it was still very raw and you can see "Langoors" roaming all around. Not many tourist, but now the place has changed completely too much development for the sake of tourism but honestly destroying the authenticity of the place.

These gardens have mostly tombs of erstwhile royals of Marwar & Jodhpur. It is located in the suburbs of Jodhpur and is easily accessible.The ruins of Mandore Fort, the Government Museum, an ancient temple, the Ek Thamna, these are some of the architectural highlights within the gardens.As of now entry into the gardens is free, and one can spend a couple of hours amongst the cenotaphs and visiting the temple and the museum.

Mandore garden is a must visit place in Jodhpur. Amazing monuments with beautiful architecture.Had a good time at the place. Spent around 2 hours here approximately.Here are a few tips if you are planning to visit mandore garden-1. The place is filled with monkeys. So please be careful of your belongings and please do not hurt them.2. Carry your own water bottle as there are water dispensers available here.3. Definitely should be visited. The complex has very unique idols of Hindu Gods. The museum is also good and has informative objects. There are some temple structures which are amazing and magnificent in structure with very good sculpture. There are a lot of langurs in the complex. Public amenities are not good here.A must visit if you are keen to see the architecture and if you are photo expert. Mandore garden is a place of beautiful and marvelous architecture..I cant say must visit place but architecture of temples is beautiful. So this place is for garden and architecture lovers.This place has a temple(closes at 9,a museum(closes at 5.30), an open gym and park for children.To visit mandore garden u have to park ur car in parking and rest u have to walk(although its not so big,so u can walk easily)There is a sunset point inside museum but it is advisable to go before sunset to have a nice view.This place is nearly 20 min drive from jodhpur.

A beautiful park within the city premises. It’s a great place for evening runs and walks.You will find a lot of people doing the same and enjoying the surroundings. It also has a temple and food court for feeding your hungry stomachs if required.

Splendid place to visit, There are so many monuments (chhatriyaof the Kings of Marvar Rajya. The architecture of these is very awesome.There is a temple of Chamunda Devi at the top of Mandor Fort.The museum also situated in the garden that have the different kind of Lekhs, sculptures of ancient time, The Art gallary in the museum is also awesome.Everyone must visit the Garden, Highly recommend..👌👌👌

These all are the smadhi sthal of the late kings of Marwar.You got to see a beautiful architecture,some temples.Garden work is under progress.And most importantly be aware of monkeys they can steal ur camera or phone too.

This place is not mentioned among major tourist attractions in Jodhpur. However, this is one of the best places in Jodhpur. There is no entry fee to the garden. It has a great museum inside with minimal entry fee. There are temples, gardens, a dam, sunset point and even remnants of a fort which the UNESCO has identified as a world heritage site. One needs at least 2-3 hours to explore the place and mhst watch the sunset from either sunset point or fort. The entire blus city is visible from above. Best place in Jodhpur for tourists :)

The buildings have an ancient touch to them. If you have some time on your trip to Jodhpur, I would recommend visiting this place. Try to visit early morning or in the evening to avoid the heat.

Lovely place...nice place to be at evening...one can spent 2 3 hrs here... some temples are really beautiful and illumination at night adds its beauty....during twilight this structures looks so mesmerising.... lots of places to visit within garden...entrance gate doesnt define the beauty of the place but once you enter it starts unveiling its beauty....

Nice garden to explore with friends and family. Its a bit long though but if you are in the mood for walking you can visit it. The view is really nice and the flowers look very beautiful. They also have on site photography and the museum is also good.

Its a lovely place to visit. It contains the cenotaphs/samadhi of the Maharajas of Jodhpur past, which are magnificent and grand, showing the architecture of 17th and 18th century. Also within it are the ruins of Mandore Fort (which is believed to have existed from 6th Century AD, ie before the founding of Jodhpur), the ruins of Brahma, Vishu and Mahesh Temples, a Govt State Museum and various other temples and other historical sites.Although when I visited there was a lot construction and repair work going on, but still it a site to see if youre in the city.

Good place for family. Good picnic spot. Wonderful place for morning walks, jogging, running, meetings, evening get togethers. Offers good spots for photography. Sunset and sunrise views are awesome. You will find rocks, ponds with lotus, monkeys and a lot of gardens big and small. Also has religious and some significant historical monuments, and a museum. Find a good guide and you will enjoy your visit of historical importance.

Since the renovation of the garden was going on but still we found it peaceful. Away from city and good place to jog, photograph or spend some quite time. Entry is free. So do not touch anything and enjoy the peaceful walk inside.

Excellent place for a day picnic with family. Surprisingly the temple structures are beautiful, with intricate and descriptive figurines, statues on the walls and pillars. I dont know why the temples were not promoted more as they are genuinely beautifully built with carvings. Their is a childrens park, su set point on a hillock, and other interesting structures with well maintained lawns and plenty of shade.
