Classic taste. The portion was large, appropriate for family of 4 - 5. Variety of meat to choose. The water spinach hotplate was great, the meat was tender. Other food we ordered was also good. Not special, but good.

Clean place, old school chinese food. Tasted good. One thing for sure, any dishes that has wochestershire sauce( saus inggrisadded with keffir lime on the plate, will perfectly match with a plate of hot rice.

Spots Mandarin Restaurant while passing by Kebon Kawung street, and since I gonna go back to Jakarta by train and this restaurant located near train station, I decided to give it a try. As the banner said, this restaurant still servings since 1972, and come in top 3 while im googling "Chinese Food Bandung". I visited in lunch time and decided to order 3 dishes which are Sapi Cah Kailan (Sautéed Beef and Gai lan), Bistik Ayam Saus Mentega (Chinese Style Chicken Steak with Margarine Sauceand Udang Gulung Ham (Shrimp and Ham Roll). In my opinion, Chinese Food in Bandung kinda soft and bland in seasoning if you guys compared it with Chinese Food in Jakarta (I loved punch in the seasoning forgive me that love MSG too much 😬), so Mandarin Restaurant isnt really my style. But this restaurant foods and ambiance will totally bring back memories of childhood. The place is really "vintage" like Chinese restaurant thirty years ago.Food is delicious 😋, big portion and quite expensive. So this place is suitable for big groups.Most famous dish is water spinach hot place (kangkung hot platewhich is really tasty.Ive been eating mun tofu and birthday noodles for decades, all time favorite 😄

This is one of Bandungs old restaurant. The buikding no much change as far as I remebered when I was a kid 😀 but they survive with loyal guest, service and food quality. Not many restaurant abke to stand that long period. Location still the same at at the of jalan kebon kawung... 👍👍👍👍

I really dont think the food is worth the price. The hotplate kangkung is ok.The capcaykuah 90 rb is normal, too expensive for me, but the soup is good cuz its really no oil at all.The chicken mandarin 90rb has a small portion as well.

It is a historical restaurant with a good taste, expensive for bandung level, but quite large portion. Each of their portion will be enough for 4 persons. Keep that in mind. Should try their infamous kangkung hot plate sapi. Their bakmi goreng, lumpia ham are also highly recommended. Its a good thing they have half portion for their special food. This is not a halal restaurant. I have been here since kid, and i know the waiter, owner, chef here are still the same.
