Was asked to leave after a 1 and a half hour wait for food - ironically close to the time they were going to close. Said they had kept us posted in delays which simply didnt happen. friend had an injury and struggled to get up from a chair and they used it as an excuse - shocking service and terrible management on a busy night.

The owner was very impolite. Im not sure what the food tasted like because we ended up leaving

I have been to this amazing restaurants a few times and I have always eaten great food and the service is excepcional! Today I had a Dairy Free mafiosa pizza and it was full of flavour, the dough was crispy and the cheese tasted just like normal cheese (I have recently became dairy intolerant, and I love cheese! So, trust me.I recommend this place for good food & drinks, it is kids friendly and the ambience makes you feel very comfortable.

Is a lovely hidden place to spend your evening with loved ones and share an Italian meal. The atmosphere is neutral, simple and clean. The service is top notch, quick and attentive. And the food is wonderful. Highly recommend the Mamma Mia pizza. The large pizza is a great size for a very filling dinner meal

Nice little restaurant around corner from Mount Hot Pools. Good friendly service and a daily pizza special from 4pm-6pm - one pizza and glass of beer/wine/soft drink for $10 per person! Been there several times for that special. Id recommend giving it a try :0)

We had a great time here. The mafiosa pizza, carbonara and Steak w. Blue cheese sauce was amazing. The staff were attentive and friendly. Service was slow but the wait was worth it. Highly recommended!

We were staying at the apartments next door to this. Went down to ask about meals. My friend is celiac and so I enquired about gluten free options- 1st time I was told no its dinner time, 2nd time I asked I was told they dont do free meals but we could get a discount if we were staying next door. Ended up walking out with a. Menu to work it out ourselves. Needless to say we decided not to have dinner here and risk her getting seriously sick!

The position of this restaurant is right up Maunganui road, almost at the base of the mount. For me it was lovely, not so busy. It was a lovely day so we sat outside. Staff were friendly and attentive. I had a pasta dish and my partner had a steak, ,which was cooked perfectly, surprisingly it didnt come much on the side, he could have done with a salad or vegetables. On the other hand my pasta dish was plenty big enough. Desserts good, but not many to choose from and to be honest next time we would probably go round the corner to Copenhagen ice creams for dessert. Would dine here again.
