Mami wata never disappoints, the views are amazing and the food is always good . Be sure to try the pizzas. The prices are little on the high side but definitely worth it. Lots of mosquitoes while on the deck , you need to use your anti mozzi lotion or spray you will definitely get bitten. Alot of parking available and awesome vibe at night. There is also boats available if you would like to have a little tour on the congo river.

Surprisingly fantastic setting, overlooking the mighty Congo river. And great food. And dont forget to order a Ngok beer!!

The food was nice and good portions. Nice settings on the Congo river.The only down side for me was that you cannot pay with your card.They said the pos device was broken but other people said that they only take cash.This may be difficult if you have a big group of people and the bill adds up...

Nice place and my food (brochette de capitainewas actually really delicious. It’s pleasant to sit outside by the river, but there are moucherons (tiny biting fliesthat will terrorize you if you’re not wearing big spray. If you forget, ask your server, as they keep some on hand for customers to use, which was really nice. I just can’t give a high starred-rating because of the prices. For some this may not be an issue, but the cheapest on the menu was still about 10.000! So if you’re looking for a pricey place, go for it. For me it’s not worth it with so many more reasonably priced priced delicious places to go.

One of my favorite spot in Brazzaville. The view is nice, the atmosphere of the restaurant is great. Either you come for a drink or to eat you will spend a very good time far from the noise of the city. I had once a plat du jour for lunch, chicken with ananas, which was probably the best meal I had while in Brazzaville. Unfortunately it is not in the menu. We also went there for pizzas and other dishes, which were good but didnt leave the impression of the chicken ananas dish.

Situated right beside the river, the place has excellent view. Poshly decorated, the place is cosy and comfortable. Food is well prepared and service is very good. The local fish plate is especially tasty. Great beer selection. Nice music in the background. Reasonable price and popular amongst locals, expatriates and tourists.

Very nice restaurant in the Brazzaville Corniche, with a great view over the Congo river and Kinshasa. The menu is a mix of traditional Congolese and international cuisine. Try the lobster, chicken and orange salad or the smoked chicken with mouambe (a maize based sauce). The staff was great and helpful, and speak both French and English (at least), and the service was top class. Remember to bring mosquito or insect repellent, especially in the afternoon, since the proximity to the river will attract all kind of bugs.

Worst/most painful food poisoning of my life. I was sick for a week. My friend said he had coackroaches in his soup/stew. This restaurant is one of the worst places on earth. If you have to order anything, make it the pizza since you can see most of whats on it and in it. Beware.

Probably one of the best places in Brazzaville for a relaxing meal/apéro/cafe with a nice view. Good to take visitors...Great in the garden when there is a breeze. Food is not consistent nor is it good value but is alright for brazzaville. Take mosquito repellent with you if you visit near sunset hours.

When we were there back in 2017 the “island” was open for sundowners in the middle of the Congo river! Small boat there (for freewow lovely views of both Brazza and Kinshasa. Look out for small “fleas” when the sun sets, and sometimes flies are a problem during the day. Service normally was ok. Try the Kat Seoson pizza, or Chicken Diablo! Drinks was cold, and ice available!

Too expensive for the quality of food. But the service is good, the location (on the riveris unbeatable. Beware if youre there at night and there isnt a breeze, the bugs are ferocious.

Widely considered Brazzas best restaurant, Mami Wata has a prime location on the river overlooking Kinshasa. The staff speaks English and the place is beautiful. Only downside is the expensive pricing, but that can be expected for a place like this.

Awesome place by the river Congo and with a great view to Kinshasa. The open atmosphere and the decoration makes the place very cosy. The friendliness of the waiters are very pleasant. I tasted cod fish, was so good that I thought it was in Portugal again. The only bad thing was the time I had to wait for the food. The quality also as is price.

Nice place. Good food. Friendly staff. White lady who meets at the entrance, shes so beautiful and nice. Btw she speaks English too which is good if you do not speak French.Some chairs were not comfortable for not so skinny person - that was only problem.

Perfect place, nice ambiente. But I was here to eat, was hungry. I know again why I am carefully with ordering meat on many places of this continent. Never had a bad meal for a money like that, paid more than 40000/60€ for a meal (2personwhere the water, chips, bread was the best. Forget the meat. The 2nd persin ordered gambas, no real, may be big crabs. Sorry for the one star, but for my order it is the truth. My main job is engineer, but I am the better cook.

If there is one place you must visit to eat, this is the one. Eat, have a splendid view of the Congo River, drink and soak in the million dollar views.

Nice pizza, I recommend the Mexican Pizza flavour. The sausage and baken are good. The environment here is very good considering the surroundings.
