I did hear a lot about Mama Machi first time tried and I can say am impress must try Fish fillet pure Lahori fish fried punjabi style strongly recommend place not highly decorated but food Does matter

If anybody likes fish, must go to Mama Machi.y Father took me first to Mama Machi and now I take my kids quite often

I went here a year ago. Food is okay. But hotel is not clean and tidy. Full of flies everywhere and not even possible to eat food did to the files

For fish fry, you must try this place once. The yummy crispy fried fish with green chutney will make you mouthwatering. The sitting arrangements is not great, but they do have good ambience for family in next shop..

Fried pomfret was delicious. Well fried with good marination and masala garnish. Daal along with the fish is excellent. Service is great but the dining area needs to improve.

Their food is good but i feel like there is hygiene issue where theyre marinating fish. Better to bring your own bread because I dont like the bread theyre providing.

Tried promfret fish along with they given salad chutney and 01 roti , actually not good for dine in so took in car but unfortunately salt was missing I experienced very slow service May be full load due to Friday night but main thing fish was fresh. If you are cautious about hygiene this place is not for you to dine in .

This fried Fish restaurant is an d eating joint near Old Sharjah, near clock tower roundabout.They have very limited selection of fishes, ( 3 to 4 varieties only. They will fry and give it to you.Side dishes like bread and gravy/Dal needs to be ordered separately.Taste is OK...They have a new arrangement for family sitting.Prices are not competitive. AED 30 for 400 to 450 grams Sherry fish at this season without any side dishes for such type of restaurant is high.

Simple, small no fancy place but big in flavors. We ordered pomfret fish with boiled rice. Fish meat was super tender & juicy from inside & so crispy from outside.

Awesome fry fish such as pomfret, barracuda, sherry with dal and chutney and roti. Nice clean place for family. Perfect ambience for fish lovers.

Tasteless, bland. Even the chaat masala was tasteless and so was the chutney. It seems over hyped.

The place is conjusted , the hype they have , pathetic service . The worst part is the taste as we go we expect atleast some masala there was none. Disappointed . And they have not even mentioned the price of fish per kg , no menu. No service , they do not know how to serve a customer . Please atleast have some taste and about fish we ordered sheri which was not fresh . No hygiene . After eating this mama machi fish I will not trust on any other restaurant or will ever have fish in my life

We were three and had ordered 4 fish but since Im not found of fish I ate small portion of the fish but I liked it somehow. Rest I gave it to my brother. It was fried and the spices were also spread good and I got that fried in oil taste. Id suggest you to pick your fish from them before ordering blindly and suggest your level of spice. The fish in this photo is the 4th fish and we had picked 1 for each in our plates already.

A real pakistani taste. But there is no space for family and all the time lots of people are buying fish. So you need to wait 30 minutes after ordering the fish.Anyway its very tasty.

Recently i have visited this restaurant twice.First time this fish was too delicious. But next day I have took it to home but it was OK. Below average.

Really good flavour of the fishes. Fresh and crispy. Only missing item is they don’t have parotha or gravy to go with the fish. Only naan or boiled rice which can be quite dry.

Third Rate Restaurant. Third Rate Service.If you want to waste a couple of Hundred dirhams. Do go for Sure.

I heard alot about mama machi, fish and taste average fish, if you are hygiene conscious then this place is not for you, you can choose the fish n size as you like. They serve with some sauces and normal arbaic bread. Over all taste is average not disappointing

Currently named Samra Resturant...Fresh fishes are available which is already marinated and kept for customers to select. Fishes like Promfret,Cream dory,Sheri etc are available in different rates according to their size. Cooking time is also less...Highly recommended guys ✌👍👍

I heard about this place around 2/3 years back from a friend living in Sharjah. The fish was fresh and tasty. The only item they serve is Fried Fish which is available.They have two seating arrangement for family. Family seating area is better well in other side it’s very crowded and not managed well. So don’t expect a good welcome if you are bachelor.Parking you have to find yourself in kacha area. Secondly you can choose fish of your choice and Ask the chef to make that for you.It’s a nice and different experience so once in a while for a change it’s good experience.

Visited last week with my friends and I was told that this fries fish exactly taste like we get in Lahore, Pakistan.To be honest it’s not even close to that taste. I seriously didnt like the taste of it may be just because in my mind I was comparing it to that Pakistani fried fish.Their family sitting area is very clean and tidy but where they actually fry the fish is literally a mess which you can see through the window while ordering.I might go there for someone else to try but for me that was my first and last visit to that place.Peace out ✌️

Management changed few years agoTaste has been changed a bit but still good option for desi fried fish, served with green chutney and salad.Roti is very good.Not recommended for families to sit down or in the upper floor.Takeaway is suggested.They should try keeping the place clean as often as they can.

Loved the fish .. took fish as parcel they packed it very well it was warm even after reaching home. Taste was great. I tried 3 different types of fish all were good.They should really take care of cleanliness in their kitchen..😅

I liked the way they cut the flesh from the fish bone without separating the two so that the masala reaches evenly everywhere. The flesh is juicy, fresh and tender. They have a variety of sizes for 10 dhs, 20 dhs, 40 dhs and 50 dhs (I think they also have one size for 6 dhsand the fishes are being fried in the open. The restaurant interior is not very maintained but is ok for bachelors. The fish fry is worth a try but cant say is the best that I have ever tasted. (The kitchen in my photos is the one where there is something written in Urdu. Sorry that it doesnt show the interior because I thought they might feel it inappropriate.)

Well, I visited this place 5 years ago and after discovering live maggots in the fresh salad decided never to go back.Apparently after being assured that things have improved I went back. Place hasnt been improved a bit in last 5 years in terms of space and seating arrangements, however seems bit more cleaner and hygienic.The best thing is their fish, ideally I would takeaway rather eating in, as place is very small and congested.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the fish.

Fish grill food lovers will love this place , not recommend for familys but take away is worth. Tasty food. Recommended..
