Terrible just terrible !!!! Dont waste your money !Staff didnt seem like they knew what they were doing or talking about. They dont know how to cook asian food !!! Restaurant was dirty most tables werent cleared off.Wait was long and it wasnt busy.I got pad Thai the flavors were really off tasted nothing like the real thing.My husband had sweet and sour chicken he said the flavors didnt tasted off also. Food looked really thrown together. The rice tasted like burnt eggs again the flavor was weird. This is very cheap generic asian food.Im sure they cook it from frozen. Way worse than panda Express. If you want generic asian food panda Express would be a better option !

First and last time eating here. First overpriced, second service is too slow, third the food was awful no flavor and the fried rice was sticky. Not recommended

Ticket stamp was 1:13 walked out with my to go order almost 1:50!All on a one hour lunch break. Ridiculous, will never eat there again. Soup was cold service was the worst and portion looks like someone ate half my lunch before I did. Don”t waste your time ! There are better options

All around everything was great. We will be back, this is the first time weve been here. Clean establishment and friendly staff. My husband was incredibly impressed with the Pork Lo Mein. The Lo Mein had the best noodles Ive had in a very long time. The wait was very minimal and food came fast and hot! All around great!!

It was my first time going to Mama Fus .... I ordered the Thom Kha with Chicken and I must say, I was completely disappointed. The description of this dish on the menu does NOT match the outcome. 1, there was NO vermicelli noodles in the dish when I got it when the description says theres in it. 2, it was NOT a broth, but more of a sauce because it was too thick to be a sauce and it didnt have any coconut flavor as the description says so. However, the outcome of the dish that I got was not bad, but I was just disappointed because the outcome of the dish did NOT match the description. The owner, manager, whomever, should look into this.

Drunken noodles = love. Dricen by this place a ton and never had it. Regret not stopping all those times because it changed our lives. The food is fresh and delicious. And the employees are very kind. Not much long of a wait either! Love this place.

The food is good and the place is clean. Portion size is a little small compared to the price. The biggest issue is the service. It took an hour to get our 2 dishes when there was only one other couple in the restaurant. They actually closed while we were there waiting. Once we inquired about the length of the wait the manager offered us a free appetizer, which was a nice gesture. I would give them another shot, maybe just an off day or a training issue

It was a takeout order but the manager took her time to hwy to know me in that short period of time. Friendly and informative. I already know that they are introducing a new partner and they will be offering pizza in their establishments. It will be a one stop dining in or carry out place. Cant wait to try their new addition.

Subpar. Not impressed at all with the food, the service or the atmosphere. Over the few years this establishment has been here Ive eaten there 3 times and EVERY TIME theres a problem. The 1st time which was a few months after they opened this location our order never came. After we seen two other customers who came in after us get their order we said something. They said our order was coming right out. After waiting about another 15 minutes and seeing other customers who came in after us get there orders and by this time some were finishing their meal and leaving, we asked again about our orders. A few minutes later the manager came over and spoke with us. He gave us our meal for free and an appetizer. Soon after our meal did come out and everything was good. The second time we went was several months after the 1st time. Our orders were messed up. It didnt take them too long to correct it. And finally for the 3rd time which was just a few days ago, our order didnt take too long to come out but we got our meal before the appetizer. I asked about getting the meal before the appetizer, she said it was coming right out. I just finished my food when the appetizer did come out. I was actually getting ready to ask for my money back on the appetizer right when it was brought out. Also while we were in there my 1st incedent [ food never arriving and everyone else who came in after you getting their orders. When you ask its coming right out but still more orders come but not yours] happend to another customer. Idk how they rectified it but I know by the time she got her order it was to go. So at this point Im kind of surprised this location is still open. I dont think Ill ever be back to this location to eat and if I do it will be years later.

The meals are edible, but not the traditional recipes as the names suggest. If youre looking for authentic and traditional Asian (specifically thaifood, this is not the place. We frequently dine at mom and pop Thai and Japanese restaurants, so I am comparing my experience and expectation of this restuarant to those locations.We ordered the chicken fried rice (which is hard to mess up), and it was very bland and dry. Its edible, but Ill go somewhere else next time.We also ordered Tom kha, and it was the worst Tom kha weve ever had. My brother in law is Puerto Rican and he can make it better than this restuarant. There were only about 4 ingrediates in the recipe that were actually supposed to be in there. It seemed like they grabbed what ever looked good and tossed it in for the rest of the ingredients.We also ordered the drunken noodles. It had the wrong sauce, and the wrong noodle. Granted, this is minor: but, considering everything else wrong with the food I thought it should be added.Everything we ordered is not what we expected from the names of each meal. This may not be a problem for most people; but, we frequently dine at many mom and pop this and Japanese restaurant. This food does not cut it for us.

Honestly if I could give no stars I would. Worst service alive. I ordered online at 520 and pick up was at 540. Go in at 550 wasnt ready, thats ok, but then I sat there for an another 40 MINUTES. My order was done and sitting in the warming tray and no one said a F!@#ING word. No one looked to see if any of the ready orders where mine. Then tried to tell me that I didnt actually watch the girl look at it 20 minutes ago in the warming area. There are way better Asian restaurants around the Fort Hood/Killeen that arent fast food to be wasting your time on this place Definitely never going back.

Waited a long time for food. The broccoli tasted heavily like plastic and the meat had a slight plastic taste. Obviously, we did not finish this food. The menu is great, but the execution and ingredients are terrible.

Deeply disappointed. The spicy chicken was somehow bland, just breading and spicy sauce over it. My order was wrong. I ordered fried rice. It said fried rice on the receipt. But it wasnt fried rice on the inside.my husbands order was right but he also didnt enjoy his food. He said it tasted old 😟 Needless to say. This was horrible and I wont be ordering food from here again.

I ordered chicken vermicelli and pot stickers. I waited more than 45 minutes for my order (order number 20037). When I finally asked for a refund, it mysteriously occurred to the cashier (the same one who took my orderto check the stacks of food that had accumulated on the back counter and he then realized that my order had been ready for some time. I could hear what I thought were complaints about how busy the place was by the cooking staff. During the arduous wait for my food I started reading other reviews and now I am nervous about eating the food I bought. Dont go to this place.

Amazing food, wonderful server, head cook a bit loud and pushy with other staff. Bit loud with the style of kitchen. second and third visits weve yet to find Crab Rangoon locally that is made any better. Im not a rice person but everything weve had thus far has tasted amazing for dine in.

This is my second visit to this location and I am happy to say it was better than my first experience. The first time my husband went to get take out but it was new years eve the year before and it took them over an hour waiting just tp get the food. This experience was dining in and everyone was so friendly and the food was hot and was only a short wait time. I am so glad I gave them another chance it was a good lunch!!

My husband and I have consistently being going to this location weekly since it opened. Initially the service and quality were top-notch. We could order online and sometimes our food would even be ready before we got there.I dont want to stop ordering here, because when it is good, it is really good. That being said the consistency has been steadily dropping. Now when we order online we expect to wait at least 10 minutes past our scheduled time (I have had to wait as long as 45 minutes past by scheduled pick up.Sometimes our favorite dishes are good, other times not so much. It is incredibly hit or miss.Tonight, we gave it another chance. I had to wait at least 25 minutes longer than my online pick up time. To top it off, I ordered the Black Garlic Green Bean with Chicken. It did not have any garlic aioli on it.. which was why I ordered it in the first place.Like I said, we genuinely do like this place when it is up to standard. It is very disappointing that it no longer meets our expectations. If I was a new customer, I would not be back.I will say that Caleb has been the cashier the last couple times and he is extremely hard working and friendly. Today as I waited, I watched him patiently explain the menu, check out every customer, and prep all to go meals (which meant sometimes having to ask the line of people to wait so that he could catch up.)

The typical entrees and rice are generally good, but their noodles... not so much. The vegetable lo mein tastes like it was freezer burned and then re-heated. I dont mean JUST frozen... I mean freezer burned. The taste is just not good, which is unfortunate. The meats are decent, but a bit oily. Overall, Id recommended staying away from the noodles and going for a rice dish instead!

Got there during lunch rush hour , ordering was quick seeing as how it was kinda like a fast food vibe but half our table got their food(party of 7within a reasonable time while the others got theirs when the first half was almost done lol. I would say the staff doesnt do too well when the restuarant is full, otherwise food was worth the wait and staff was really friendly . Overall this is panda express 2.0 served with a ceramic plate instead of a to-go box.

The restaurant itself is nice. We ordered take out from here a few months ago and it was mediocre. The fried rice tasted like grease but the meat was okay. I decided to give it another try last night. Crab rangoons were good. However, the fried rice still tasted like grease as did the Mongolian beef. About three hours after eating there, my daughter began vomiting. She wasn’t sick, so I’m inclined to think it was the food. She threw up three more times and every time it was her dinner that was coming back up. I can’t verify that it was the food, but that is the only cause that makes sense given the time frame.

The pricing is very decent and the staff is extremely kind and professional, but I just cant get into the food. I have come in or gotten takeout a couple of times and each time, the food is just bland and not so great, and Im sorry to say it. Theyve got customer service down just fine, and the place itself is also quite nice, but Ive had several dishes and am not impressed, unfortunately.

The menu was a little confusing and the place is a bit pricy but for what you get it is completely worth it. The food is served to you on nice plates and bowls. but you get your own drinks. It comes out hot fresh and to my surprise looking like a culinary artist made it nicely placed and decorate for the eyes i was very please. The taste was better than it looked delicious. They take your dishes when your done you leave them on the table but you pay before not after you eat. Quite unique. They also have your own to go boxes avalible to you to box yourself which is awesome you dont have to wait on busy staff to leave. I highly reccommend.

I went to have lunch with my son who is visiting from Alaska. I take him to Mama Fus because I like their food. We order and my sons food comes out while mine doesnt. One of people come out and say that my sons pot stickers will be out soon and that they havent forgot. After 10 minutes of waiting and seeing other people get their food, I ask about my order plus my sons pot stickers. The girl was shocked that I didnt get my food. Since my son was done eating I decided to get my money back. The guy was very apologetic and refunded me back all of my money plus a coupon. That is great customer service BUT this is my third time eating at this Mama Fus with something gone wrong. I wont support a restaurant that cant get it right every time I go. It is a waste of my time. Needless to say I am still hungry and had to go somewhere else to eat.

I ordered for delivery and Found a Moth or Some sort of bug in my food. I called to speak with the manger and got transferred to No one answering then proceed to call again and have my number taken down and was told "Ill have my manger call you when shes done talking to another customer on the phone" its been about 20 minutes...

I really wanted to like this place- my daughter is vegetarian and we love Asian food... so theoretically we should all be able to find something to enjoy here. Weve given them several chances over multiple months - theres always been something wrong with our order, EVERY SINGLE TIME (at least 6 timesand the food often lacks seasoning.Adding note November 2018. I reached out to Mama Fus through their contact us function as instructed in their response and have not heard anything back from them over a month later.I have not gone back but my daughter has tried again and they messed her order up, AGAIN. 🤦🏻‍♀️I cant imagine theyll be able to stay in business with this level of service?

Is too pricey , quality of food is horrible , rice was burn , flavorless meat , undercook vegetables , awful calamari what else can I say awful experience

The chicken was very tasty and flavorful, the amount of the food you get is not worth the price you pay. Im not sure what was going on with the rice but it was like hard like undercooked hard, I was already home when I started to eat or else I would have taken the food back. I might give them another try because the inside of the establishment was clean, its just having crunchy hard rice just throws the whole meal off.

Casual dining with mediocre plus food. Host was a little weird- wiped his nose with his hand when we ordered, then damn near put his finger in my friends dish when he brought our food to the table! I fed 3 adults with drinks right under $30 bucks, so overall it was a decent meal!

So the food is good. I will not knock that. But the issue I had is with what I ordered and paid for. I ordered sesame chicken, extra green beans, brown rice, no red peppers, no onion, no mushrooms. What I got was everything I didnt want, no brown rice...noodles instead. Called them back to have the order corrected. Spoke with Cory and Cory gladly said they would replace the meal and not charge me. Said the meal would be here in 20 mins. Well an hour later, no meal and the store is closed. Thank you Cory for lying to me. Great way to deal with your mistakes. ILL be there tomorrow to get my meal.

My wife and I decided to try Mama Fus for the first time. Well it will be the last time. Worst take out food ever. Crab Rangoon was way overcooked. Mongolian Beef tasted like it had been heated then reheated multiple times and the Chicken was rubbery tasting. Potstickers were terrible. I even gave a good tip after not being greeted at the door while I watched the staff innapropriatley joking around with each other. No wonder there wasnt any in the restaurant on a Saturday night. This store wont last if something isnt fixed.

Great service. As soon as we got our drinks they immediately brought our rangoons which were delicious-definitely not lacking in the filling. Took some time to get our entree but not terribly so. My vermicelli bowl with steak was delicious. The prices and wait were more along the lines of a larger restaurant which earned it 4 stars.

Ive been here a couple of times, and normally have found their food rather enjoyable. On my last visit however the differences were night and day. I ordered a Chicken Wor Wonton Soup, and a small order of Crab Rangoon.When I was served my crab rangoon the first one was fine. The second one however was only a mouthful of crab and no cream cheese. If you like crab I could see it as no issue, but am very sensitive to seafood (Hyper tasterand can only handle a little bit at a time, so I almost choked on it.My Soup however was much more of a disappointment. When it arrived it tasted super salty and like fish! Like someone had a heavy hand with the base or used too much fish sauce in the broth, but it definitely didnt have the light taste it should, especially when the description says it is make with chicken broth. I tried but couldnt eat it because the taste was too overpowering.Management was good with letting me replace my order with something else, but I also felt they shouldnt have tried to justify or make excuses for my complaints.I had tried to let them understand that one of their cooks was being heavy-handed, and they brushed it off as the Crab Rangoon is premixed and they just scoop it onto the wrapper, but to me that just meant their mix wasnt mixed evenly like it should have been. With the soup they said they didnt have control over how it was done because people cook differently, but if the chef was following the companys recipe is should be consistent every time.I felt the stubborn defense of the kitchen was unprofessional, because it made me feel that management thought I was ignorant with how a kitchen is ran, and would have been happier if I had just received an apology the switch to my order without the excuses or justifications for the mistakes.I am not totally giving up on Mama Fus, but I might take a break from here and try some of the other many asian restaurants in town I still havent had a chance to try.

The reason I come back is for the quality, the customer service, and the of quickness and cleanliness of the restaurant. When you come once, you will be craving it all throughout the week. Staff is so extremely nice and ensure that you are taken care of. Your drink wont go past half, thats how good it is. (exaggerating a littlebut just to put it into perspective.

This is a revised (upgradedreview: My first review was not good, but management apologized, comped my my meal, and ask that I give Mama Fus another chance. I have been back a few more times, and many of the problems of new establishment/new staff have been resolved. The cook team seams much more polished and information seems to be flowing better. The food is solidly good and the service much improved. I think this is a good reflection of the management, as well. I would recommend them if you are wanting a noodle or rice dish for lunch. The Bangkok Green Curry was very tasty!

Excellent food here!! Best Asian food in Killeen. Nice selection of many different selections to choose from.Lots of food for the price. Food was hot and done extremely well. Service is excellent, friendly, and very welcoming. Atmosphere was inviting with a nice selection of music that wasnt overbearing. Tables and floors were clean and well maintained. Definitely a good place for a meal and to be able to chat with friends.

When we walked in , had to wait 10 minutes for them to say , that we order at the counter , the lady first thing to say was that there was a 45 min wait no hello how are you doing , there was only two people still eating , there so I was confused why their was 45 min wait and every other table had dirty plates , was very messy we had to get our own drinks , usually when we dine here , their is a waiter or someone who periodically checks on how you’re doing , nothing they gave us dirty cups , so we asked for to go drinks instead , appetizers came in about 10 minutes , it was cold , food came out 5 minutes later , we had a total of 4 plates , children’s plate came out ok , I had the pad Thai I always get this every time I come , it looked rushed , like it was mixed with something else but couldn’t put my finger on it , and was very soupy consistency, we were celebrating a birthday , so we tried to make the best of it , now we understand why everyone plates on the other tables were half way eaten , the delivery guy , had multiple orders and I commend his work ethic they had a lot of Togo orders , but the Customer service , should be great when we dine in too , seemed like the to go orders were priority over the dine in guest . Usually when we go it’s fast food is great , today was not the case , looked understaffed and managed poorly at the hour.

Ive been here many times before reviewing to ensure Im not crazy. The food is AMAZING, BUT the service is terrible! First, be prepared when you walk in for them to scream the wait time at you before your foot steps in the door which is usually an hour. The staff is so busy they cant refill your drink, but when I went to get a refill myself the girl said I wasnt allowed. They do not use FIFO method or they dont understand it. Overall customer service sucks. Now Ill order online an hour early and run in and pick it up and you dont really have to deal with the employees.

Let me start of by saying this will be our last time here. Out of the 5 times we have been 3 of them we had to get our food to go because it too way to long. Today we got to the restaurant at about 11 (when it opensthe place was empty. My wife ordered her normal general fus and I wanted to try the PHO (which was a mistake because it was bland and nasty). We didnt get our food till 11:56 which is 26 more min than my wife has for lunch. EVERY time we come here the service is horrid. If one of the cooks brings out your food they act like you are the bane of their existence. Something really needs to be done because it seems we are not the only ones having this issue.

Poor service. Needs to retrain again. I ended up getting up and refill our drinks twice. I could see our food ready from where we were seated and it was on there more than 10 minutes. Our server was back and forth and never took a chance to see if food was ready. Filthy floors and tables. I saw 3 or 4 families that came in and sat and walked out again just because how dirty the tables and floors were. Need more servers and someone at the front. Food is great but the service was so poor. I mean I seen reviews from months ago about the same issue and it still happening.

I ordered my food for delivery at 8:30 pm on a Friday night and had it within 30 minutes! This was my 3rd delivery order from Mama Fus and everything Ive ordered has always been so delicious, fresh, hot, and you can tell they use the freshest, finest ingredients. Every employee Ive dealt with has always been polite, accommodating, and willing to please. Youve got to try their Rangoon Poppers (jalapenos filled with blue crab meat, cream cheese & scallions, then fried in an eggroll wrapper, my hubbys absolute fave& dont miss out on their decadent chocolate cake (my faveor Mamas Dessert Roll (my hubbys favefor dessert.I love using the app to order- everything is so easily customizable! I can choose to replace, double, or add to any menu item!This place is legit just easy and delicious comfort food at your fingertips!P.s. they also serve alcohol when you dine-in so you can enjoy Asian inspired comfort food like an adult ;)

Absolutely the worst dining experience I have had in a long time. Large number of staff present but highly disorganized. Inappropriate conversations and foul language between staff that can be heard especially from kitchen staff. Long wait to order, longer for food to be ready. There were several dishes in the window ready to go but just sitting there, including mine. Overheard dishes being sent back due to inattention to detail (no scallions, etc), out of multiple items.However I could over look all of the above had the food just been good. It was not. The chicken was rubbery and lacked any flavor ,soggy. The sauce (spicy Korean was overly used and congealed (sitting to long?Tastes of spice (heatno flavor. The plain white rice was honestly the best part. The pork egg roll tasted the same as these that come from gfs or sysco. A complete waste of money and time could not even finish meal.

Went around 11:30 or noonish. Food was pretty good and the waitstaff was very friendly. When they made my order wrong, they fixed right away with smiles, but it did seem to take a while for them to remember to bring it back. And at the end of the meal, they messed up our payment by switching the cards to pay for the wrong reciepts, then applied the coupon to the wrong ticket, didnt correct it, charged a completely arbitrary amount instead of what was on the ticket, and then charged that amount twice. At the end of the day it took us almost twice as long to pay as it did to eat. Like the food but dont know if I trust going there if I dont have exact cash in the future. Very mixed feelings.

Customer service is a big deal to me. I walked into the Killeen location I was not greated and stood line a few minutes before anyone acknowledged me. The wait staff who took my order was nice enough and gave me options I did not know were offered. In the end I did get a couple free cookies for the long wait. However I think the staff could use some training in customer service because some of the conversations they had among themselves were not appropriate in front of customers. The food was fresh and the cook did get my order correct.

Holy Jesus I know its New Years day but what in the world is going on with this location?There are only 5 tables occupied (2 have already walked outand 9 tables still sitting uncleaned.Soon as we walked in we were told our food would be a 40 min wait for our food (why?)There are apparently 2 waitresses for the floor but 1 is running around just saying sorry to everyone and the other has only been helping 1 table this entire time.We arrived a little after 6pm and its now 7:35pm with no food yet.Sadly the table next to us has been waiting for well over an hour easily and requested to speak to the manager but she has not come out.The kitchen has been cooking this entire time and getting food out for their to go orders but are completely neglecting people eating in.Ive watched 1 workers just stand off to the side this entire time while another is sitting at the register. The staff seriously needs to be retrained for time management and proper staffing.We ended up just leaving after the tables around us were told their food had no estimated time to be finished after sitting there for an hour.

Really disappointed with my meal. Ordered 3 dishes: the Pho soup with steak, Vietnamese Vermacille(?with chicken and chicken Lo Mein for the kids. The meat tasted like cardboard. It was cooked but had no flavor not even salt. The meals were cooked with seasoning sauce on the side which is good but the broth itself didnt get cooked with flavor for the noodles and meat , rather the flavor had to poured on top. Really disgusted by lo mein noodles had a bitter after taste. Nice place but will not waste my money there again. Also wait staff was not attentive and veggies didnt look fresh and got a dirty cup. Go to pho 9 if youre looking for a good vietnamese place in killeen

My visit to this restaurant was wonderful the staff was very professional the food was great, nice and warm, taste great. I would say take time to review the menu. its not so easy to select an option. But its worth a second visit and I hope everyone enjoys.

We ordered for the first time today and my Spicy General Fu is nothing but mouthfuls of red pepper. I had to chug water in between each bite. My fiancé got the Mongolian Chicken with fried rice and the red box was barely half full. It definitely wasn’t worth the $23. We even asked about the portion sizes before ordering and the guy at the register said they were huge. He showed us the box and said they fill the one side with rice and the other with protein. He seemed nice enough but we got screwed. Save your money folks.

The food is so so good, and the service is even better! Our server Hannah was very attentive and informative of our menu options. I cannot say enough great things about this place! The atmosphere is fun and just all around family friendly. Dont forget to ask for Hannah when you come in for a bite!

A new place and I liked it..the food was good..service was good too..already I have a favorite entry ( I forgot the name of it..was wrapped with rice leaves and stuffed with rice noodles and salad interior design simple, modern..not traditionally decorated..I saw they have outside sitting area too..at very good point in the shopping area..at first we thought it is self-service like fast food..but it is not..they serve to the table..I think they have delivery too..we will definitely place in order for delivery next time..

I am highly disappointed in this place. Killeen is starved of good Asian food places and unfortunately the food at Mama Fus was very underwhelming. I ordered the Mongolian stir fry and could tell the chicken and steak I ordered with it was not freshly made and it was very greasy and floury. The fried rice was also very greasy and lacking flavor. The egg roll was bland and the crab rangoon leaves the worst fishy after taste I have ever tasted. To make matters even worse, the prices are way too high for the quality of food you are getting from this place. Also, the portions are pretty small considering how much you are paying as well. The only reason why I gave the place two stars is because the staff were very nice and the atmosphere was good. However, the food makes it to where I can not recommend this place at all.
