Not sure when this place opened but what a great addition! Staff is friendly, food is yummy, and atmosphere is nice. Definitely a place to frequent for an easy, affordable lunch in downtown MGM

excellent food and hospitality! A wide selection of breakfast & lunch items, all freshly made. If you’re driving through Montgomery it’s well worth a five-minute hiatus from the interstate!

Clean, friendly, welcoming. Do yourself a favor and get the eggs, biscuits, and grits. You wont regret it.

Local Mom & Pops restaurant. As soon as you walk in there is a small gift shop for browsing greeting cards, books, jewelry, pens and metal crosses and inspirational wall signs. Noe, on to the massive menu. There was too much for me to decide, salads, sandwiches, you name it. Customer service was great and my salad was delicious. Nice, clean and not ro busy at 1:30pm. I will recommend this great restaurant to locals and new comers. *** BTW, breakfast specials are always great. Stop through and enjoy the ambiance of Mamas!

Food was fresh and plentiful. Every member of the staff we encountered had a smile on their face.

I first came here a few months ago because I work just up the street, but now I go back because I genuinely love this place. The staff is always very kind both over the phone and in person. The staff seems to have formed a family amongst them. Whenever I come in they always greet me with a smile and make me feel like I am part of their little family for the short bit of time I am in there. Mamas really makes me feel like a friends mom invited me over for lunch. The food is always good and there is enough variety on the menu that I do not have to always get the same thing.

Delightful. It reminded of going with my family to one of my aunts homes for lunch when I was growing up. Very friendly, and you feel welcome. Food was very good!, where you felt contentand satisfied from eating, and not that "greasy" feel. LOL. Try the homemade chicken pasta salad with your sammy. :-)

Mamas is a great spot to get breakfast and lunch. Their breakfast sandwiches and bowls are delicious & filling. The staff is very friendly and the prices are reasonable. They have live music on Mondays. Always a good experience at Mamas.

The word at the south east church conference was Wow! They should be arrested for these phenomenal sandwiches...Arbys cant touch it. Lots of meat! Try the truly southern fried bologna sandwiches!!

Literally the best service Ive ever found in all of Montgomery, Prattville, and Millbrook. I love coming in to a place that remembers my name with a genuine smile. These are very honest and good people.

On our way to Pensacola, I recalled from parlst Alabama trips the fried baloney sandwich. So I asked the Google for fried baloney in Montgomery and up pops Mamas Sack Lunches. Easy off I85 to Perry St. with easy street parking.We were not disappointed, the baloney sandwich on rye was great as was the loaded potato soup.Staff was great and since it was Monday we were serenaded by guitar and a great singer.Returning to I85 was easy and we talked about a great find in Mamas Sack Lunch as we drove down I65.

We were passing through our old home town of Montgomery, AL. Wanted to stop for lunch and look around. Remembered how much we loved the food and atmosphere at Mama’s. Had not been back for 5+ years. New (to us at leastowners but same great food and friendly atmosphere.

Stopped in town for the night and had breakfast made to order. I believe I had a breakfast burrito and I loaded it up with everything I could was great. Highly recommend it for anyone staying at the nearby hotels. Do not pay the overpriced breakfast buffet in the lobby, it’s just a half a block away. You won’t be disappointed

I eat here at least once a week. Some of the best home cooked food ever!!! The staff is so wonderful and greats you by name and with a big smile. The food is priced reasonably and you get more than your share. Love eating here!!!

Picked this place because of reviews and it did not disappoint! Food is very good for sure, but the people are so friendly and warm. They welcomed us like friends.

Delicious biscuits! Great spot to pick up breakfast, though they do get super busy with orders. Would definitely stop through again when in town.

Amazing place to eat. The place is sparkling clean and with one of the BEST sweet teas Ive had ever! The food is fresh and super good. Just go there. It is the best. The people are the nicest and it makes me not want to go ANYWHERE else. And to the restaurant, THANK YOU SO MUCH. Comforting and delicious. I cant express enough how much I enjoyed going there.

Amazing! Great food, excellent prices, and hospitality thatll make you want to come back. Traveller Tip: it may not look open driving by but their info is up-to-date and theyre open. Very easy on/off from the highway. Many thanks for having us and we look forward to stopping in again :)

Best everything! Prices, staff, attitude, cleanliness, and tasting food! Everything in this location is made with love! We wanted to stop and try some Alabama home cooking breakfast on our way through from the north, and we were pleasantly surprised when we found this place. It was top rated for breakfast so we thought we try it. I was greeted by the warmest employees and owner! we were almost late for breakfast but they accommodated us by texting us a picture of the menu and letting us place the order! This restaurant is a must visit for anyone coming to Montgomery!

I always call it in, if not prepare to wait 15-20 mins. However my roast beef croissant was tasty.

Excellent...I had a Gourmet Turkey on Dark Rye with a Cup of Homemade Vegetable Soup...Delicious. The Service was Great. I will go back. On Mondays from 11:30-12:30 lunch some live Christian Music

Great local lunch spot!! Portions are large, the price isnt. Lots of options on sandwiches and sides. The fresh fruit is actually fresh and always tastes great. The brownies are great too. And now they are expanding the seating area to allow for more space.BUT by far the BEST part of this place is the PEOPLE who work there. I cant say enough about how friendly and welcoming they are. So thankful they are a part of our downtown community!!

Great food, great prices and most importantly AMAZING people! Debbie knows everyone by name and greets you as soon as you enter. She cares about her customers. Recently, a coworker passed and she made her delicious cakes for Bobbies family - FOR FREE - in donation of our efforts to provide the family with meals

I loved this place. Its a short walk from my office and they have really quick service for freshly made sandwiches. My bill was around $7 for a Reuben sandwich, parmesan chicken pasta and banana pudding. All of them were delicious. The dining area is small but felt very welcoming and "homey". They also had someone in there playing live music for lunch. Really cool! Ill soon become a regular.

This is an awesome place for lunch! They are so friendly and their customer service cant be beat! The food is amazing! She will offer you samples to help you choose, but everything is GREAT! If you have never been to Mamas for lunch you are missing out on a gem of Montgomery!

Downhome breakfast in warm homey digs. First visit and loved it. Friendly staff that make you feel at home. Great breakfast food. No frills and inexpensive.

I love this place. They have amazing food (especially the breakfast!), some of the sweetest people and the most consistent service I’ve ever seen, definitely across Montgomery. Always greeted with a smile. Plus, the wait times don’t even exist, but if you’d like your food even faster you can call it in. I would definitely recommend this place to every and anyone.

I’ve never been inside myself. I’ve had lunch picked up for me. I ordered a bologna sandwich. Honestly, it was just meh. I give it four stars because my coworkers rave about the burgers and pasta salad I have yet to try. I’ll update as soon as I try one.

Tried Mama’s for the first time and it did not dissapoint. The atmosphere was very upbeat with positive energy from all the employees. The food that was ordered included their California Club with sides of pasta and banana pudding. Everything was remarkable! This is definitely a new lunchtime favorite of mine!

This place has really good food and service. The people are super nice. I was going through a short lived vegetarian phase and they were really helpful in recommending meat-free options. They also have plenty of normal food, of course. And there was some kind of chocolate dessert that was out of this world. There portions are quite large also.

I ordered lunch for my staff today and had it delivered. We really enjoyed it. The young lady who took our order over the phone was very patient and friendly even though we had several questions as this was our first time ordering from there. The food arrived to the office promptly and was correct. The young woman who delivered it was very nice. When ordering for a large group, you can usually expect something to be wrong with the order or receive bad service. This was not the case! Everyone enjoyed their meal. Great job Mamas Sack Lunch! We will definitely be ordering again!!!
