I received the email with instructions how to get the keys after my arrival. My phone doesnt work in Sweden after travelling over 36 hours it would have been nice if someone would have been available for check in.Very noisy neighbors above me moving furniture and chairs have the night. People coming home at 2 am.You cannot call reception if you have problems no phone in the room.The breakfast was very good and people were friendly

A little worn but nice hostel with separate rooms that have toilets in the rooms. Some rooms have an in-room shower at an additional cost. Shared showers and sauna are located in the basement. The breakfast is good but has no hot dishes.

Bra lunch och gott om sittplatser. Utsikten över bergen kan man ju inte heller klaga på.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is included. The breakfast is a little basic, but I liked it. They have multiple communal spaces like a library, and a lounge were you can play board games. The receptionists are kind and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are like dorm rooms, so just keep that in mind. Also, bring your own soap and shampoo. Thanks for the great stay!

I särklass bästa lunchen i Kiruna, värt att äta här bara för mackornas skull. God sallad förekommer också.

Ett av de sämsta boenden som jag har övernattat på, tyvärr. Rummet var slitet. I det gemensamma köket var det inte fräscht. Eleverna hade en fest i köket och det var lyhört och hördes in till rummet. Det var nån fläkt i badrummet som hördes hela natten. Endast en kudde och dessutom låg kudde till sängen. Utrymningstrapporna användes av studenterna den andra natten och det väckte mig i och med att de var av stål och studenterna gick och fram och tillbaka. Frukosten var väldigt enkel. Det var oklart om äggen var lös- eller hårdkokta. Jag kan inte på något sätt rekommendera det här boendet till någon.Jag fick betala till överpris resonerar jag.Det är inte fel att hyra ut elevrum om storförfrågan finns och ont om hotell på orten men då bör boendet ge ett reducerat pris om standard är dålig eller om det är just elevrum.Utsikten från matsalen med fjällen var dock vacker.

Abbiamo dormito qui per due notti, l’ostello è molto carino, le camere non sono grandissime ma sono molto pulite e c’è lo spazio per poter sistemare gli zaini. L’arredamento è minimal ma c’è tutto quel che serve. La colazione è compresa ed è molto abbondante, sia dolce che salata. Gli spazi comuni (cucina e livingsono spaziosi e c’è tutto quello che serve per poter cucinare pranzo/cene/ecc, abbastanza puliti (ma li sta alla civiltà degli altri ospiti, si spera sempre che trattino gli spazi comuni come se fossero a casa propria). Il supermarket è abbastanza vicino, unica pecca la stazione dista a circa 30 minuti a piedi ma c’è la possibilità di prendere un bus gratuito dal centro città.

Clean, spacious, access to shared kitchen, good wifi, good location.Walls are paper thin and with lots of guests it gets rather noisy.

Terrible ! Furchtbar !Zu aller erst bekamen wir ein falsches Zimmer zugeteilt.At first we got a wrong room.Wir erhielten ein Doppelzimmer Economy, statt eines Standard Doppelzimmers.We got a double room economy, instead of a standard double room.Anscheinend gab es bei der Buchung einen Fehler zwischen Booking.com und dem Hotel.Apparently there was a mistake at booking between booking.com and the hotel.Wir bemerkten diesen Fehler leider zu spät.We noticed this mistake too late.Das Economy Zimmer war dann so klein, dass wir beide uns ständig auf den Füßen standen.The economy room was so small, that it was no place moving for two people.Beim Koffer auspacken oder beim Anziehen, musste die andere Person sich auf dem Bett aufhalten, damit dies möglich war.To unpack suitcases or when getting dressed, the other person had to be on the bed, so that this was possible.Das Economy Zimmer wird mit 15 qm offiziell angegeben. Wir bezweifeln die Größe.The economy room is specified officially with 15 square meters. We doubt the size.Der Schrank war das billigste vom billigen. Er war abgenutzt und teilweise kaputt.Bei geöffneter Schranktür, war der Raum fast ausgefüllt.The cupboard was the cheapest of the cheap. It was worn out and partly broken.When the cabinet door was open, the room was almost filled.Die Sauberkeit ließ im ganzen Hotel zu wünschen übrig.The Cleanliness in the entire hotel left a lot to be desired.Der Badezimmer-Schrank war so eklig, dass wir ihn erst gar nicht benutzten.The bathroom cabinet was so gross, that we didnt even use it.Das schmale Bett stand in einer engen Nische. Es gab keinen Platz neben dem Bett, z.B. für einen Nachtisch oder zum Laufen. Das TV-Kabel hing lose an der Wand.The narrow bed was in a narrow niche. There was no place next to the bed e.g. for bedside table or for walking. The TV cable hung loosely on the wall.Direkt vor dem Fenster war ein Parkplatz. Parkende Autos machten das Zimmer nachts taghell, denn es gab auch keine richtige Abdunkelung.Right in front of the window was a parking lot. Parked cars made the room bright as day at night, because there was no real darkening at the window.In der Gemeinschaftsküche ist man selten allein. Covid-19 spielt dort keine Rolle.In the communal kitchen you are seldom alone. Covid-19 doesnt matter there.Offene Essensreste stehen dort im Kühlschrank tagelang und vergammeln.Open leftovers stand there in the fridge for days and rot.Alles ist sehr, sehr hellhörig ! Man hört jede Kleinigkeit vom Flur.Everything is very, very badly soundproofed. You can hear every little thing from the hallway.Eine Schulklasse nebenan machte einen Höllenlärm. Türschlagen im Sekundentakt.A school class next door made a hell of a noise. The door slams every second.Der Lärm war unerträglich ! Schlafen war nicht möglich.The noise was unbearable ! Sleep was not possible.Bei jedem Türschlagen vibrierte dabei unser Bett.Every time the door slammed, our bed vibrated.Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr unhygienisch aufgestellt. Kein Schutz der Lebensmittel durch eine Glashhaube etc.. Covid-19 was ist das ?The breakfast buffet was set up very unsanitary. No protection of the food by a glass hood etc.Covid-19 – what is it ?Warme Speisen gab es leider nicht.Unfortunately there was no warm food.Es gibt keine Schälchen für Butter oder Marmeladen, d.h jeder richtet sich sein Brot direkt am Buffet. Das Besteck dazu und das Brot wird von allen angefasst.There are e.g. no bowls for butter or jam, that means everyone sets their bread directly at the buffet.The cutlery and the bread are handled equally by everyone.Das Küchenpersonal wirkte nicht gerade vertrauens erweckend.The kitchen staff didnt exactly inspire confidence.Eine sehr junge Angestellte, ließ ihr Kind mehrmals auf die Speisen husten.A very young employee made her child cough several times on the food.

It was a cold winter, but it wasnt cold. There arent many restaurants around, but it was worth the while.

Definitely the best lunch restaurant in Kiruna.

Small room with bed, TV & toilet. Shared bathrooms and sauna. Breakfast is substantial with breads, deli meats, cheeses, tomato and cucumber. Boiled eggs, juices, coffee, cereals, yoghurt.

Ett bra vandrarhem. Enkla rum men dom fyller sin funktion. Bra parkeringsmöjligheter och promenadavstånd till centrum.

Miła obsługa, w pokoju czysto. Dostęp do kuchni ułatwia funkcjonowanie. Dobre śniadanie.

여기서 지내다가 키루나 시내 호스텔로 옮겼는데 오로라를 보러왔다면 여기가 훨씬 좋은 것 같아요.1-2분만 걸어나가도 숲이 나오는데 거기서 오로라 볼수 있습니다. 10분정도 더 멀리가면 더 잘보이구요.창문 밖을 바라보다가 오로라 지수가 높고 하늘이 맑으면 바로 나가면 되니 정말 좋아요. 시내에 있으면 이렇게 못(안)하죠.시내와 거리가 좀 되는 점도 단점이 아니라 오히려 저는 장점이었어요. 이 동네 집들이 진짜 북유럽스럽고 아기자기하고 시내에 있었다면 안왔을 골목들 다 다닐수 있었거든요.단점은 샤워실이 지하에 있고 방은 2층이라 그게 좀 불편했어요.조식이 엄청 좋았다는 평들이 꽤 있는데 한국인인 제가 보기엔 별로였어요. 차가운 햄 몇가지 치즈 몇가지 빵과 요거트 뿐이었거든요. 따뜻한 스크램블 에그나 베이컨도 없었고 흔히 나오는 소세지나 감자요리등 따뜻한 음식은 없었어요.근처 슈퍼에서 유럽버전 삼양라면 사다가 부엌에서 끓여먹는게 훨씬 꿀맛이었어요 ㅋㅋ

Vi hade blivit lovade att få checka in på förmiddagen. När vi kom in på rummet hade någon kissat i papperskorgen och det var vått i hela hallen och sovrummet. Toaletten var också ostädad. Vi blev då lovade ett annat rum och fick ställa vårt bagage i bagagerummet under dagen. När vi kom tillbaka sent på kvällen stod vi utan bagage. En jourvaktmästare räddade situationen, heder åt honom. Lösenordet till wifi skulle finnas i nyckelfickan, vilket det inte gjorde.

Très bon rapport qualité-prix, lauberge offre un petit déjeuner copieux à la Suédoise, vraiment nourrissant, ainsi que wifi, et laccès gratuit au sauna et à la cuisine communautaire, et aux douches. Le personnel est accueillant, et disponible, et le système de boîtier de clé permet darriver à tout moment... Seul point négatif, les chambres sont mal insonorisées, mais il y a tellement de choses à voir quau final on passe très peu de temps dans les chambres...je recommande pour un séjour bon marché à la découverte de la Laponie

A bit on the higher side of a backpacker budget, the property is very neat and clean. The reception is efficient. There are restaurants very close to the hostel. Sauna is open 24 hours. This property is at the edge of the forest, so it is possible to see the northern lights from the comfort of your room, else there is always the option to walk down 2 minutes upto camp ripan to make the experience even more authentic. The kitchens and common spaces are very well done up and comfortable

The staff is friendly and helpful.Sound insulation is not good enough.Kitchen is nice and well equipped.The shared shower room is too small.The sauna room is nice.

STF Malmfaltens is a really nice hotel. But the area around it has a lot of light pollution. So if your goal is to see the northern lights, this hotel isnt for you. You might have to take up some kind of Aurora tours (Costing anywhere between 1000- 2000 SEK).The rooms are compact but it contains everything one needs. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils. The bathrooms are really great & you can take Sauna for free as well. They provide free internet, laundry & kitchen facilities which is really good.If you are with a family, this is the best pocket friendly hostel in Kiruna.

簡單乾淨的住宿選擇，房間裡有廁所，但是淋浴、桑拿、廚房是共用的，住宿費用已包含床單及浴巾，離市區有段距離，大雪天步行可能會很辛苦

Shared kitchen where we cooked and cleaned together. Nice communal feeling. Mixed-gender sauna was wonderful. Just behind our house we climbed up the slope and observed the Northern Lights which were visible every night of our stay except one night when it was cloudy. A small trek (15 mins walk?to the town centre where we did our grocery shopping every day. Next to the folkhögskola there is also Camp Ripan which has a fancy restaurant - more expensive but very yummy food. Receptionists at the folkhögskola were friendly and helpful. Id highly recommend for anyone who wants to see Northern Lights, and thinks its fun to cook and eat together.

Its fine. Really. Maybe a little overpriced, but sauna compensates it. Location is very good if you want to observe northern lights.
