Very rude staff. One waitress translated my family Vietnamese conversation about food to that we talked bad word about other waitresses. Then they confronted me of saying that without verification first. Rude waitresses and bad customer service. Waitresses need to take some more Vietnamese class before translating.WILL NEVER COME BACK.

Good food, large portions. Small staff but really pleasant.

This was once my favorite Thai place. The new owners have not held up the relaxed, personable atmosphere and, more importantly, the quality of the food.

This place is a hit or miss. Had my phad see eww and it was bland. Thai food has always been my go to cuisine but maybe not just at this location.Service was decent at least but i came to get my cravings fulfilled but didnt get here.

Great food and great service today. Hope they start cooking the brown rice again.

What you expect. A good range of dishes. Brown rice available. Prawn basil dish was well flavoured, sweet, I wish modern Thai turned the sugar down from trad. Iced water. Not licensed. Nice ambience. We enjoyed it.

Came with about 20 ladies. Everything was great until we ordered food. Menu said calamari rings but they were big chunk very chewy not thin rings at all . Deep fried chicken wasn’t it looked like a baby chicken skinned alive no batter very small hard for $13🤦🏽‍♀️. 3 others ordered pad Thai noodles very mushy an shrimp didn’t smell great 3 people wanted to return for same reasons an one person sent the fried chicken back an they didn’t want to return food . They said we were giving them a hard time . We all were pleasant considering they were as well but their choice of words wasn’t great. It was most of our first times eating at this restaurant. I’m t was recommended to us . I will never eat here again. Other than that I kept my chicken an just paid it . Others had no issue with their food . Overall we stayed because it was a friends birthday party. An made the best out of it . There are definitely times when the days are not good . But we all have to work together to fine up with a positive solution. Although the customer isn’t always right . When someone is telling you your advertisement is not accurate an your fish has a funny small an taste from three others as well as noodles were very mushy . Please listen an just make it right . id like to start off by saying, the food here is addicting. i come in so often that they know my name, face and exact order everytime. the food is impeccable, some of the most authentic thai you’ll find in oregon! staff is incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is calming. prices are a bit high at first glance but if you break down food costs and labor and consider inflation and quality of food then it’s more than worth it! competing thai restaurants are either more expensive or quality & quantity is less. id also like to point out not only is staff friendly but they’re very understanding! whenever they mess up they sincerely apologize and fix the problem! they rarely mess up, i’ve been eating here for the last year frequently and they only screwed up one meal, and when i complained they gave me a refund and a chance to remake me the meal for free for next time! malis thai is a must-try!

Been here a couple of times. Fast and friendly service. Delicious food. Today I got the lunch combo with cashew chicken, pad Thai and steamed rice. Very good portion and good amount of spice for 3 stars. Came to $13 plus tax, very reasonable for the amount of food and quality you get. Definitely worth checking out if you’re craving good Thai food in the area!

Went for lunch on a Saturday, food was fast and service very prompt even though it was pretty busy. Solid Thai food, and be warned the portions are huge (not a complaint- I’d go again!

Great ambience. Very efficient waitresses. Clean environment. Can be busy even on weekdays.Coming to the menu: very large selection. Everyone can find something or another. This time, we tried from their specials. Crying Tiger - beef salad with chilli lime dressing, mint, etc. Wow! Very flavorful. We also had the Crispy Basil Chicken. Then our staple - Phad Thai. Everything was tasty, freshly made and the portions were generous.Finally, we tried the Fried Bananas with two scoops of ice cream. A perfect ending.The price is right, as well.

I’ve only ever had take-out from here, but I love their food! Can’t speak to their service much, but I do appreciate when food is consistent and well-made. Portions are nicely-sized too.

This place is has a HORRIBLE POLICY!!!. I believe in tipping more than average. When we enter, a gal greeted and stated you’re going to be charged a gratitude fee for having 5 people. It was me, wife, 2-5 year old, and a 9 month old. It’s a 9 month baby that is sitting on my wife’s lap. They said it doesn’t matter of age… just for sitting down, they charge. This is very rude to be greeted like this. As a business owner myself, I find it very offensive!! Food wasn’t that great as well.

The food was just average. However, the girls aren’t friendly with some attitude issues. Over charge for typical Thai food and I’m a foodie lover, which I eat out a lot. This is the signature Thai Tum yum seafood. The picture pretty much sums it up.

Just had good food, except my cashew chicken had no cashews and it was a 5 star when I ordered a 3 star so it was disappointing. When I let the Waitress know she brought me uncooked cashews in a salad dressing container???? Well she tried. The place is clean and has a sweet feel but over all I was not impressed.

I received the worst service here. The food is great, amazing, delicious. The server Ashley was aggressive. I asked a question over the phone to decefir whether I could have my one hour lunch there or to eat in my car. She answered in the most condescending tone and was not helpful at all.I worked in the service industry most my life and I never heard a server speak to a customer the way she spoke to me. I as a server had never spoke to a customer ln that manner. I went in to pick up my food and asked if there was someone I could speak to about the incident as it was plain upsetting to spend my money and be treated in this manner. Ashley was sitting next to the women I was speaking to and Ashley interjected. From here I would rather speak with the owner, this manner of treatment is very concerning

My family and I have been going to Mali Thai for many years. We love this place! Whenever we’re in town, we make sure that we come here. All of the food portion, color of presentation, taste, and price has always been amazing. Customer service has always been great. What else can you ask for? I highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed.

This place is good atmosphere, but a little bit too much sugar in my Pad Thai and pad-se-ew. Wish the sweetness didn’t overpower all the great flavors that could have been. Basil chicken was good, with good flavor.I’ve been here before and it has always been more sweet than other Thai places but this time it was too sweet. I couldn’t finish my food, and I love food!

Ordered the Pad See Ew w/tofu 5 star spicy to go.Easy ordering process, friendly staff, quick to make. Portions were great.The tofu was lackluster, lacking in the seasoning and even the preparation. I would have liked it a bit crispier. The cubes were so big, it would be nice for them to be a bit more bite sized. Honestly would just be better off charging a cheaper “vegetarian” price and not offering tofu. The spice rating was low, probably a 2-3 star spicy in reality so order 1 up if you are a spice person. The sauce on all of it had a bit too much sugar for my taste. Usually I don’t even notice but this entree was abnormally sweet. The 3 star rating comes from all three little things that can be improved from the dish, resulting in it being so-so.Not bad but if you are a frequent Thai eater, you’ll know this isn’t the best.

Good food, nice seating areas. Could improve on having more condiments set out on tables and have napkins present.

The food was very flavorful! I had the Bok Chuy Chicken with sticky rice and it was great. Only recommendation...have the wait staff take a little more time with guests and not be in such a hurry to get to the next task. Ill be back.

I use to like coming here. My recent experience was horrible. I won’t be back. I brought my family from out of town here because I had liked it before. We had a group of 7 people. The hostess immediately told me there would be a gratuity charge. Which we had no problem with. In our group we had a few people who didn’t have venmo or a service like that. So I asked if we could do a few separate checks just for that reason so one person didn’t have to pay for it all. The hostess immediately said “so what your saying is your trying to get out of paying the gratuity!” My sister was just appalled. She said we aren’t eating here. So we left. We had no problem with paying a good tip!! We were just asking to make the it easier for some of our group. And then the hostess went over to another girl 10ft away from us and starting talking about us to her..it was awful. It felt very disrespectful.

Consistently excellent Thai Food! The manager/owner had his airline industry hospitality experience and shows it in real time at his restaurant. Other crew members are great but could do better with added smiles and cuisine related conversations!

Their mango fish was delicious. They were very very busy and they were trying their best to service everyone. However I did not like our dishes being brought one at a time. Made it hard to enjoy a family dinner.

There are a bunch of Thai restaurants in the area but this Mali Thai hands down the best one. Food is so flavorful, portions are big and generous and the staff is always friendly and checks on you often. If you’re ever craving thai food in the area this is the spot to go to.

We chose to eat here randomly and felt in love immediately! We ordered the duck noodles to go, very authentic flavor and well prepared. They packaged the food carefully too and everything is good even when we got home, no spill or anything like that. Will definitely come back next time if we are in the area.

Bad service, rib off. Last Sunday night November 28. me and my gf came to Mali Thai Cruise eat, we ordered 4 dishes foods ,they served just only 3 foods , When they give to us a bill , they charged 4 dishes, if we don’t check a bill we pay them 4 dishes. I don’t know how May customers they rib off before? Let you guy know be careful when go there eat there , check ur foods and bill, I never come back there again.

Went on a dinner date with the wife. The decor was nice although the lighting was a dimmer than I like but that might be because I am a little older. The food was good my wife had the Tom Yum soup, I had the Pad Se Ew. Both dishes were good and the veggies in the Pad Se Ew were cooked to perfection tender and still had the crunch to it. The wife liked her soup but we both agreed that the Mali Fresh Sping Roll was the star of the meal. I cannot say enough about the fresh spring rolls. They were packed with veggies and the right amount of noodles. The dipping suaces were amazing wife like the sweet and sour and leaned more tothe peanut sauce. All in all I would recommend giving Mali Thai a try. Definitely order the Fresh Spring Rolls.

No flavor at all! The woman at the front is rude and hangs up the phone. Only came here because simply Thai was busy. You’re just another Thai restaurant. You can get replaced just like that please go to simply Thai they’re food has flavor. Reporting them to BBB and disputing my transaction. Do not go to this joke of a restaurant. Hopefully the woman answering the phone is going to school for education and finds a real job. You won’t do well in the restaurant business sweetheart

Okay I’m going to be honest with this review. I hadn’t had an issue with any food at this location nor their prices. They’re very reasonable with pricing and the food is honestly a STAPLE, so good. But they recently hired a waitres, she is a blonde girl, always has her hair up in a little bun. She was extremely rude and after checking in with a friend who had gone there to eat the day before , she agreed the same. She rolled her eyes at us because we had to use Apple Pay and go pay in the front instead of giving her cash or a card at the table. Can’t speak for my friends experience but if this is the service you receive I’d tell you to find a better place to eat your Pad Thai.

One server is nice the others are awful, they act like they are doing you a favor by selling you the food...and they force you to pay 18% gratuity of your bill on 5 people or more. Since when are tips an obligation, arent tips designed to thank them for how good of a service they did? What if people wanted to give more for a good service? Food is good but after 5 years of going there Im very disappointed with their attitude and entitlement. There are better places in the area with better customer service, price Ave food. Dont go here if you have a choice.

Ive gone to several very good Thai food restaurants in the area. But I would definitely say that Mali Thai Cuisine has the best service and the best food, the fastest service I have ever experienced, plus when you order a specific spice level you consistently get that level. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Weve been coming here for years and the food is always consistently amazing. The wonton noodle soup with meatballs is my all-time favorite! The soup is light, very flavorful, delicious, and comforting on a cold day. The meatballs and wonton portions are great and I always end up taking leftovers to go. Great service and wonderful Thai food!

This used to be my favorite Thai place, I would drive 30 minutes to enjoy their food. It saddens me to see the decline.Last time I came in for a sit down dinner I noticed that the prices had increased and the quality of the food and service has decreased. Both changes are substantial.During the covid restrictions I came in and ordered 2 dinners to go. When I got home I realized that both of the orders were wrong.I recently came to order food to go for a second time. This time I ordered 3 dishes, with extra limes and extra hot sauce. All 3 dishes were wrong and no extra sauce. The only thing they got right about my order was the extra limes.What happened? Did they change management? I cant swallow (pun intendedthe changes.

Awesome Thai food Restaurant with excellent flavor and 99% same taste as in Thailand.If you either follow me or see my reviews, you know I’m fair and balanced. One small thing I’m going write that can be big for folks who are not regulars at this restaurant.For some Unkwon reason almost all their plates of food come with a big portion or normal size amount of food, except for the curry plates that was very shocking to find out, that rice was not included with an order of red curry. So of course I had to pay for steam white rice that is normal operation on any other Thai restaurant in the USA.Also the price was a little steep or above national average and the portion was very small. Restaurants seem to be charging customers for smaller bowls of curry and not filling them up, but prices are the same or higher.Hopefully management can see this comments and make improvements so they can better serve customers.How ever above all, the young lady who helped us was excellent, knew how to smile and kept checking on us and food was good.

So gross! I just realized that was a plastic !Completely disgusting!Unfortunately we got order to go and I’m not going to drive 30 min to back there and show them!I never will eat in this place again.By the way I’m trying to post a picture but weird it’s not update the picture! 🤔

Wow this place is busy! Went in around 7:30pm on. Wednesday and every table was full and there was a wait. The flavors are what youd expect from Thai cusine. The spicy level was on point. Waiter and staff were polite and not overbearing. Food came out IN ORDER and entree followed appetizer immediately. I am definitely craving more of Mali Thai. Only negative thing I can think of is the booths are very tight and anyone with a slight tummy would have a hard time sliding in.

I havent been here in awhile. They have a good selection of Thai food at decent prices. We ordered the Larb salad and the Chicken Phad Thai, with some iced coffee to drink.Service was good and the waitresses were super attentive, although it wasnt that busy when we were there (I expected it to be busier).Ample parking with a huge lot 👍.This place and Bai Tong are the goto Thai joints in the area IMO.

My favorite Thai restaurant. Best red curry around and the staff is super nice. I hate going around southcenter area but will go just for this. A must try!

Hidden jem in a popular shopping center. The green curry was outstanding. Many options for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free. I will be back to try other dishes.

My friend thinks this place has too much sodium but it is my favorite Thai food restaurant in the area. The owner is really nice and so are the servers. I usually get my food to go and they are really fast.

Unique dishes and tastes. Had a Thai salad with ground chicken. Totally awesome. Restaurant was too cold but clean. Fresh salad rolls only come in sets of 3 which makes it hard to order as an appetizer. Great service.
