Malecón Simón Bolivar, Guayaquil 090313, Ecuador, Loja
Long riverside boardwalk offering restaurants, shopping, monuments & various recreational stops.
Be careful too many robes in the area. Beside that nice experience
Safe, nice place for a walk
Nice place to go. Seems safe, lots of food, from a simple Trolley to a restaurant. Nice views.
It is a great place to walk and enjoy Guayaquil. Lots of shops along the way. Depending on the time and day it can get packed. If you have the opportunity to go during the weekday and around 2/3pm its great. Also near the end when you make it you can transfer your walk to Puerto santa ana.
Wide open Clean clear well-policed amazing views entertainment history knowledge and just a beautiful place to walk and relax with the family very very safe
Very nice place to shop and eat! ❤️
Once (years agorun down and not safe, now totally refurbished and well monitored. Completely safe with good restaurant with happy hour. Park safe for children.
Not so cleaning, natives there not clean. But show lot a security, over crowded. But nice please to take the children to play.
Lots of fun! Beautiful views, and great for sunset
Clean and tourist friendly!!

Malecon is basically a amusements place.there is many attraction for the visitor.restaurant, amusements park, space center for kids, cinema, shopping and many more attraction.its good place for time pass.place is clean and its good security for visitor besides of guayaquil rumors.for visiting in night time also good.you can eat there and feel good breeze of air.malecon have green trees as well as many flowers decorate good for the malecon.you can feel good and fresh here.its near from the center of guayaquil.good facility of parking and helpful staff of municipility always attend good for visitors. Now a days you can enjoy " cable car" and you can enjoy birds eye view.
El malecon 2000 was very modern, we went a saturday, it was very crowded, lots of activities for children, very modern.
Guayaquil Malecón is awesome, there a lot of activities for the children, there are places selling water, sodas, ice cream and restaurants. Also there are boats that take you around the river to the island.
Nice family place with great sights of guaya river.Long walk with many options for kids.A few places to eat food.

Beautiful experience in Guayaquil day or night. Totally different experiences and great open views, hidden gardens and sculpture. Nice to see the fountains running again.
Lots of attractions.Restaurants, stores and fresh air as you walk through.Monuments and beautiful views.Take a picture of yourself with Juan Pueblo.
Nice place to walk around, take pictures and enjoy the view. Also a few places to eat within
Wonderful place for tourist or family gatherings.Plenty of activities for all ages
Great place to walk and see the river. So many restaurants to choose from.
Surprise visit looking for the Iguana/Seminario Park. Highly recommend it/both.
Really different. O like all the sculptures. Felt very safe. They had sanitary staff and everyone was friendly
Great place to go with the family and have a great time. Lots of places to go and eat and also tons of places to see and take great pictures. Excellent place to go during the day and enjoy the view of the Guayas River and boats. However, at night you get to see all the city lights, get in La Perla, similar to the London Eye, and if you walk a little further north you can climb up Las Peñas, which is a small hill with lots of nightlife entertainment, bars, restaurant, etc.
You can walk beside the rio. The roller was a small disappointment. There is bright led lights inside that make it harder to enjoy the view at night. Either way beautiful place to visit.
It Is a really nice place, safe and clean, theres a lot of history around the whole place, and you can take great pictures all over the place
We walked the entire length of the Malecon and loved it. There are lots of monuments to see, places to stop and eat or drink, vending machines to get water, The Perla (big wheel), Moorish tower, which you can climb (Tip go just before the hour and you can be in there when the clock chimesand some Iinteresting birds too. We spent hours there and thoroughly enjoyed it.
A great place to stroll during a nice day. The ferris wheel and gardens are nice. Lots of areas for kids to play. You’ll see a lot of families and couples out on Saturday.
Okay by my standards; I was told it was fantastic. It has the potential but I dont see that happening. Sucks because the location is top notch.
Malecon 2000. Is a really excellent park by the Guyas River. At holiday season they have it light up and nice kiosk to eat. Also, there are a variety of different types of restaurants inside of it. I love this place during the day and also the night.
Although Ecuador is in South America has a Caribbean flare, Im guessing because its on the coastline. Beautiful! The food is amazing.
Great place to people watch and to stroll nice seeing all the families enjoying there city
Very nice and clean with a great view. I highly recommend a walk through the old town to the top where most of the city can be seen.
Vibrant waterfront lined with multiple sculptures, playgrounds, shopping and eateries. Endless photo ops!! Theres a cable car ride under construction.
This an awesome place to spend time in the evening with many restaurants and activities for the family.
Ubicated at the river-shore of the city with the Guayas River, its a long-long boardwalk with lots to do. There are Safari Parks for Kids in both extremes. They have "La Perla", a ferris wheel from where its top you can see the city. Aldo the have many restaurants for all prices. Visit "Mercado del Rio", those are two building with the best iconic restaurants of the city. If you love to eat this is the place for you and also, its beautiful. The have Bahia Mall in there so can shop also, or rest in the mani Cafes that are in many zones of the boardwalk. Its great to visit this place, Be sure your camera or cell has full batery because youre gonna take lots and lots of pictures over there.
A beautiful location, very clean. A pleasant walk in the evening, and it felt very safe (there is a strong police presence due to the number of tourists). There are some street vendors and a few amusement park rides but these were closed when we were there.
It’s a wonder place to walk around. It’s safe and lots of craft stores along the way for you to pick up some keep sakes and gifts for friends and family. One you walk to Mercado Rio you can refresh inside with a local fruit drink or satisfy your hunger with some delicious cuisine.
This is Guayaquils Riverside boardwalk. Has a few restaurants and a small amusement park. The Malecon 2000 actually has a gate with security guards. Its close to the old/historic/original Guayaquil. The water has a lot of debris due to two river systems meeting at that point. In the distance you can see an island uninhabited by humans, only crocodiles.
I was impressed by this location. So many activities. They have a lot of rides to include a ferris wheel. They have a movie theater and lots of restaurants. Lots of photo ops here. I quite enjoyed. Ferris wheel was only $3.50
Awesome place and a must see for tourists. The Malecon stretches quite far and offers views, small parks, restaurants and even movies. The entire stretch had a good amount of police officers which give you a sense of peace and allows you to enjoy your surroundings. Go and enjoy!
Beautiful promenade. A few km to walk all the way to Las Peñas! The river is not majestic but still nice. Dont eat in malecon unless youre willing to spend quite some money... Overall pleasant experience to enjoy throughout an entire afternoon!
Delightful touristic area, soothing to the eyes and relaxing. Very colorful and attracting. Lots of people, families with children all over the place.
It is a wonderful pier. I go there almost Everytime I visit Guayaquil because you always find something new. Is a magical place to stroll. You can find places to eat, bathrooms and. Among its attractions are: a ferris wheel, a boat with on board shows and meal, some monuments, a gallery, markets, a fair and many other attractions. I recommend you to visit this place with your family, it has free entrance.
Lots of activities for families and kids, photo ops, historic buildings and monuments, weekend market, y un buen ambiente!!
