Malacca Crocodile & Recreation Park - Animal park in Malacca, Malaysia
Maybe because i didnt go weekday cannot hold bird 😔 nvm.. as i t say on the name.. main attraction is crocodile but got another another animal there and the animal was all very2 friendly.. 😂 happy place when ur kids are happy too.. good place..
Nice place to bring your kids,so many crocodile.
This place has pleasantly surprised us! Will go again.Though not keen to see animals captive, wondering if this is a retirement home for exotic pets. ENclosure maintenance, healthcare and education activities practiced here look ok. I wish they had more resources to do all the things theyd like for the animals! Its run with passionate and well-trained staff; from intern to keeper, they love sharing about their animals during the education shows and in their private time.We saw frog, snake and crocodile feeding. Crocodile feeding encouraged them to use natural behaviours and was on the background of an education session in Malay. It was cool as keepers went inside the enclosure and looked skilled and respectful when interacting with some big crocs! The pony ride is fun, and the handler was kind and gentle with both his animal and our child.Didnt get to try the water play area but it looked fun and the water seemed clean. There were some picnic tables nearby.Add-ons weve found worth buying:1. feeding pack with food for emus, farm birds, rabbits and deer - all of which you can see and touch (to different degrees).2. a photo at the booth since there was no donation box and the ticket price was quite low.3. refreshments
Underrated place. Worth penny you pay. And dont miss out feeding part. Can pay at counter for the treats. Will come back again bring more kids 💪
Have all types of crocodile n alligators, peacock, duck, snake, bird of paradise
Animals are well taken care off but i guess the marketing can be better to attract more people to visit. Aloooottt of crocodiles, it gives you goosebumps. Huge ones! Chicken and ducks are quite aggressive during feeding. Hungry?
Price quite reasonable for me. They also got swimming pool at the end of park. 3 things in one place were awesome! You can watch crocodile, some mini buildings, and can swimming. Best time you can watch crocodiles in action, you must go around 12.00pm-12.30pm to watch crocodile keepers give the food to it. You also got a chance to give the food to crocodile.
One of attraction place must visit. children under 7 years old are allowed to enter for free. adult tickets are rm 1619. Allowed to give food to animals.
Paid RM20 to experience a lot! Theres also different animals (like snakes, deers, rabbits, hedgehogs, peacocks, birdsbesides the crocodiles, where we can pet, feed, take pics and so on. Also, visitors can take part in the feeding session (crocodileswhere the staff would give us a chance to feed them with chickens.
Theres a lot of activity inside the park.. you can learn more about the crocodile.. small but interesting and exciting place.. have swimming pool..
Overall taman not considering big, other than the actors-the crocodiles, there are some other animals inside like rabbits, turtles, deers too. A few ponds with crocodiles big and small. Coincidentally was crocodile feeding time and youll get more information as the staffs will explain and give more insight abt crocodiles 👍good 1. Maintenance inside is quite good. Entrance fee-RM16/RM11
This is my third time visiting Taman Buaya. First time was 30 years ago and second time 20 years ago. There is a change compared to my past visits. Nowadays we can see deers, tortoise, rabbits, chicken, swans, ducks, snakes, birds, others than crocodiles and alligators. Definitely a fun place for children and animal lovers. We can feed the small animals but you need to buy the food at the entrance counter first, when you buy entrance tickets. Really a memorable experience to interact with all the lovely small animals there! I would give 10 stars for them (Except the crocs! Haha). Quite an informative trip for kids to learn about knowledge of animals. As for the staff of the park, they are quite friendly and helpful.4 stars for the environment, as I found that the pond water outside their park is poorly maintained maybe because of the high operation cost but hopefully they are able to make it cleaner. Overall, this trip was quite fun. My kid likes it too.
Brilliant Staff.Visited a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. There are a lot of crocodiles in the enclosures and you really are right next to them with just a fence in between (tall enough to keep it safe though). Make sure you’re there at the right time for a once in a lifetime experience feeding them yourselves too! (Might be slightly earlier than online says). We were also the only westerners there and an employee noticed during the feeding talk and came up to us and helped by translating. When leaving we had no way to get back to our hotel because there were no taxis around so an employee ordered us a grab on their app. When the first taxi cancelled they were very apologetic, ordered a new one for us, and even bought us 2 cokes from the vending machine while we waited! Very generous staff.
Very Nice place to explore during weekend.Cheap and No hidden charges at all.Politeness and friendliness 5⭐️Especially the entrance checker Pak Cik and 2 photo booth ladies.Keep it up...
The place was not managed properly. The ticket price doesnt match with the experience inside. Basically its a waste of money & time. I think this place should just be closed & the animals transferred to the Zoo Melaka. Save your money & time, just go to the Zoo Melaka if you want to see crocodiles & any other animals.
Good but going 3rd day shawal, not too good.. no performance on that day..
Many attraction... Gud place for visit...
Visit the home of over 100 crocodiles in the Melaka Crocodile & Recreation Park . Children can enjoy with their parents. After the Covid-19 now again they reopened it. So tourists are happy about it.
Hope they can improve the park. The ticket prices is quite high, but the main attraction (crocodileis worst than before. No more crocodile show, just feeding the crocodile using bamboo pole, no more taking picture with crocodile. Just a few crocodile pond and that its.I really hope that the park authority can upgrade the attraction. For example, using glass container pond, where tourist can watch them swimming, crocodile bridge, more attractive children educational program, audio visual interactive and lot of crocodiles different species. Dont just simply increase the tickets prices ang decrease the parks quality.Thank you
Negative: most of the cages are empty and also quarantine and also on maintenance or out of order. Quiet dirty and smelly. Most of the animals in hunger. I felt not worth paying RM10 for the tickets😢😢😢Suggestion: Pls update the complaints as soon as possible.
Book tickets early on website. Better bring umbrella or hat. Panas😂😂
Good place to visit if you go to Malacca. Even with the pandemic of COVID-19, people still so many at this place. Learning about crocodile and other species also such as birds, tortoise, snake and rabbit etc. Got to feed the crocodile also.👍
Kalau nak bawak anak kecil, maybe berbaloi. But if youre an adult, paying rm19 per head just to see a bunch of lazy crocodile, its not worth it. Rugi je.
I think its a wonderful place to spend time with family and very small children, we came here after witnessing how very crowded Zoo Melaka was. For me, the draw was not the crocodiles but the other smaller animals. There was only one feeding pack left when we were buying tickets at the counter (long wait, I would suggest that two ticket lanes be open during peak hours). But we had much fun feeding the deer, rabbits, emu and birds (ducks, turkey and chickensas well as the terrapins (free kangkung for feeding)! The rabbits can be better cared for (some of them were really dirty :( and seemed like they needed some TLCand some facilities such as abandoned stalls should definitely be upgraded. A nice plus is the water playground for kids and the McD restaurant nearby where we had a secret recipe cake and coffee combo for RM13 😊
We came on 29.dec.2021, ticket rm16, food pack rm10 for deer, rabbit, ostrict, lucky to see croc feeding at 11.30am, i even get a chance to feed *black* the leader of the main pond, a whole bloody chicken swolen within sec😲, the staff mc also vy entertaining w detail explanation, worth for a visit👍
There are so many types of crocodiles here. You cant feed the crocodile ofc 😂 but you can feed the emu birds, ducks and deers, ride a horse, touch a baby python and so much more. There are plenty spots for people who loves to take pictures too. You should go there if youre planning to spend some quality time with your family.
Easy access from main road. Easy parking but crowded during peak hour. Not just crocodiles but also got snakes, peacock, racoon, ducks, deer, chicken, horse, rabbit, hedgehog & tortoises.Ok..not bad but surrounding can improve a lot. The wakaf is a bit rundown as some seating came off already. The cage looks old & rusty. Amphitheatre is not in use & closed to public.Feeding session for crocs at 11.30am & 3.30pm. Can volunteer to feed the crocs as well.Only have 1 wakaf used for selling foods & drinks.
Great place for hanging out with family. Ticket are affordable though not many animals that been showcase.
Been coming here since I was a kid and although most of the layout and attractions are the same since forever, it still holds a special place in my heart.
The area is small and many facility is under maintenance such as ghost house. For weekday ticket is RM16 and RM19 for weekend. The price is for citizen only. I think the price is unreasonable for me. The water park water also not in good condition.
Small place but many animals and well maintained. Kids love the waterpark. But crocodile show stopped. Also "Melakan visit Melaka" promo also need to insist, as counter not sure and no promotion
Kids happy to be here. Food outside allowed. Lots of canopy for family to have picnic. Beware of monkeys eyeing for food. Bring extra clothes for kids to play with the water.
First time here with the kids. We were greeted with open arms from the staff there. Was really friendly and informative. We can tell that the staff takes really good care of the crocs there. Their sizes are huge and enormous. We havent be able to join the feeding time but thats okay. Places look clean and organised. Rabbits not so much. Emu birds too. We didnt go into the Ghost House. There are few new animals that are added there. New deer and its fawn. Batik Pyhthon. Enormous phython. Snapping turtle. Kids get the chance to feed Tuntung there.Tickets for kids 5-12 yo is RM11/eachThere are surau and toilets here too. And miniature famous buildings of Malacca.
Free water park for kids! Kids loved to feed the deers, rabbits, turkeys, goose etc. Nearby McDonalds so food is not a problem.
Not much to see... But you can buy online for the tickets through Traveloka and the price will be slightly cheaper than direct from the counter especially during peak season.Plus point..If you have small kids, you can bring swimming suit as they have kinda water park and its for free and most important for families, you may bring your own food too. They have miniature replica for main attraction and historic building but there is no notes or label for it which I think they should have. Not everyone know all.Not so plus point..They will force you for a photo session as you enter the park and the photo can be purchased when exit the place.. Not cheap tho.
My boy enjoy this place a lot. Staff are so friendly and very knowledgeable with the animals. Ticket are reasonable priced. Also there is a ghost house inside that u can visit. Got petting zoo for rabbit, deer, bird and turtle. They also made a water park for kids to enjoy next to the show area. Parking are limited make sure you come early. It is located in front of Zoo Melaka.
For me, its great to see many types of crocodile. Not only crocodile, they also have some snake, rabbit and turtle. Kids can feed them too. The swimming pool really makes kid enjoy. But their water slide is too high. I think more than 15 meter, and their slide not covered, i was really scared kids will fall down. And i think they should discard broken playground in the pool that may caused kids injured.
Good Place for Leisure or Knowledge about Crocs..Not only Crocodiles, Mini Miniatures, Aviary, Rabbits, Snakes, Mini WaterPark also there.
Admission Ticket :RM18 for adult RM13 for Child. Very interesting performance arranged by zoo management for visitors. Make sure plan your visit during thier show or else just watch a leisure crocodiles. Hey bring extra shirt for kids bcoz they have water plaground and its free. 😁
Very happening place. Love the showcase. Please check the showtime at the ticketing counter. The crocodiles are real, not tame and very gangster. There were crocodile feeding, crocodile kissing and touching. There were also photograph you can buy if you want.
The place is quite nice... have a few shows that you can enjoy such as crocodile show, crocodile feeding, tradisional dance show, snake shows and other.. you can also feed the animals... the only problem is some of the animals look sicks such as the rabbits... hope they can take care of them better..
Its very good place for families with kids to come here.. There is lots of different sections n events to be enjoyed by the visitors..extra things that I like at this place are haunted house n water park.. The children can play at the water park after see the animals..u also can feed the animals by buying the foods at the counter.. One things that I dont like is there is no staff who entertain u in feeding the foods to animals such as goose.. U really need to be brave when feeding them.. But, dont worry, they do not attack u.. They just want the food only..n dont worry, they wont chase u too.. Hahaha.. After all, it was great experiences..
I have passing this park at least 10 times. Never have a thought to go in before. Been to Malacca everywhere and was thinking to go in have a look for one time.Surprisingly amazing park has more than just crocodiles. This park has very cute rabbits, emu and allowed to feed them with extra money to buy animal food. This park has haunted house as well but have to go back to counter to buy another ticket. I was like too much troubles and leave it. So not sure how about the haunted house. This park has so many crocodiles until my jaw drops lol. Plus with professional crocodile ranger he allows us to go in with safety distance. This is my very first time to say hi to crocodile so close.I have to say the staffs there are doing their best to perform well with crocodiles together. I was actually hold my breath few times worry that they will get snapped by crocodiles super sharp teeth. They even kiss the crocodile in the show. And feeding time using dead chickens to feed them. For me this is very open eye experience.I do very enjoy the park. Very recommended to go.
nice alot of crocs most of all nice water park for kids to play with parents that is no additional fees .only pay entrance fees no time limit to .they shop in side for beverages.
Decent place for family hangout. Many crocodiles den are seen, that could go up to 300kgs of weight!! There are reptiles house, aviary walk featuring birds of all kinds which could be good interactive session with your kids. The ones that I loved the most is the snake show. The guy doing the show knows exactly what hes doing. Good informative sessions reagrding snakes and its venoms, how to identify and run away from snakes. And theres also silat exhibition by some group of teenagers. The crocodile feeding show is awesome, you get too see how crocs eat! I simply love the place. Not to mention, they have great friendly staffs. The tickets are reasonable. Rm 18 and rm 2 extra if you would like to venture in the haunted house.
This is a rather old crocodile farm at Ayer Keroh , Malacca. But it is still popular with tourists, mainly local tourists. The entrance fee is RM18 for adult , RM13 for children and RM10 for elderly with Mykad and Mykid. But it may be slightly cheaper during weekday and non public holiday visit. The ticket price is only worth it if you do not miss several activities in the park like snake show (11.30am), crocodile show(12pm), crocodile feeding(12.30pm), traditional dance(1pm). The shows would be repeated in the afternoon from 2.30pm onwards. Besides the above activities, you can have photo with baby crocodile, ghost house additional chargeable at RM 2, and children waddling and swimming pool. The park opens at 9am and there are several enclosures with total of about 100 crocodiles. There are public toilets in the park. To come here, you would need to make a u turn if you are coming from North south highway after passing Ayer Keroh toll, as it is on opposite side towards toll from Malacca city direction.
nice place, a lot of attraction inside, if u go with your family and children, prepare extra clothes because there is swimming pool inside (not so many people know about it), they also have snake and crocodile show at a certain time, you can also feed a lot of cute rabbit, the staffs are also very friendly and nice. great customer services, they treat their guests really well and they gave information well about the animals overall experience is great and Im happy with the visit
It was a quick trip to round the place. Nice. Many Crocodiles... But cant buy separate ticket pricing for farm only without the water park. They gave us a bag of food to feed birds turkey and rabbit. We enjoyed feeding rabbit the most. The food for turkey was too small. For bird didnt make sense too. But it was good overall. Nice and fairly shady. Not hot even at 2pm.. toilet and surau could be improved...
Small, but great variety of attractions. There are alligators, snakes, rabbit and racoons. Theres also a ghost house (so random but yet, so amusing), herb garden, miniatures of Malaysian landmarks and a small water park in the back. The whole place is endearingly mindboggling. The shows (alligator feeding, and snake showare in Malay unfortunately, but the park people are friendly and helpful. One of the Assistant Supervisors named Rizal is incredibly helpful. Do look out for him and he MIGHT just give you a private tour. Highly recommended- the park and Rizal.
The snake and crocodile show can be more interesting if they have prepare well. Overall still worth of visit. But without the show, the price maybe slightly expensive. Poor maintenance.
