Best roller coaster in SeaWorld, no loops but thrilling falls

Honestly I like Candymonium more but this is still great. Floater airtime is my favorite and this has a lot of it. Was not as smooth as people say but definitely wasn’t rough either, maybe it was just the time of day or something who knows.

Absolutely one of the best coasters in Florida. It’s a simple out and back concept with lots of floater airtime. No pain, just lots of weightlessness. My favorite coaster in Orlando. A very easy and pain free ride.

Best Hyper Coaster in the US.Its extremely fast and very smooth.

I can easily place this in the top 15 rollercoasters in Florida. I want to love this coaster but its just bland.You go up this steep incline, drop down and thats about it. After the drop its just humps like a camels back, nothing too crazy.SeaWorld has all this land for this specific coaster and this is what they created. Could have done some inversions, speed launches, a loop, something to make it more unique. You have so much land that they could have done double coasters and have them race each other like Dual Dragons at used to be at Universal. Wasted potential.Mako kinda feels like a beginner coaster for those who want to get passed the drop height rather than the loop/inversion fear. If you can get passed this fear, you can conquer any coaster in Florida.

Awesome coaster. Themed amazing. Huge Guy Harvey mural hand painted. The coaster gives lots of air time. Great views from the lift hill. A great ride. One of the best in Orlando.Right next to sharks grill a great place for a drink after, check out the bar top it is an aquarium.

Mako is a steel roller coaster located at SeaWorld Orlando in Orlando, Florida, United States. Manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard, the hypercoaster model opened to the public on June 10, 2016. Mako is named after the mako shark and is located in the Sea of Mystery section of the park. It reaches a height of 200 feet (61 m), a maximum speed of 73 mph (117 km/h), and features a track length of 4,760 feet (1,450 m).- Mako is absolutely amazing! If you get to the park for opening, it is possible to ride Mako a few times before the queue picks up.

Awesome coaster! This thing goes 73mph, but at times it felt more forceful than that, I guess it depended on the element. The elements on this are amazing, you get a lot of floater airtime, beautiful views from the ride, its long and I absolutely love the wave element on this thing. Super smooth. One of B&Ms better hypers for sure.

Love this ride although it scares me to death as I am scared of heights so the initial climb up the hill is terrifying to me.Saying that the ride is fantastic one of the best coasters around

Mako is one of the best hypers out there. The floater air time is unmatched on any other coaster. The one negative of this ride is that the ride ops seem like they really don’t care. I’ve never seen people move so slow. They were also only running one train and the wait was well over an hour. Highly recommend getting there early and riding before the other parts of the park open.

Short ride long line. Staff does not regulate the lines you will literally see people get off of the ride run back through the line and get back on the ride and thats what holds it up the most. The most annoying thing you will hear is excuse me, Excuse me, excuse me,. Those would be the ones getting off the ride and getting on the ride and getting off the ride and get him back on the ride.

Me and my siblings went on it, not realizing how much it would make us scream. My brothers and sisters were shaken badly enough that all they could do is watch killer whale shows. But thinking back, it wasn’t bad!The coaster is pretty much just up and down multiple times, but with huge hills and drops, of course! The seats were only like one size. And the restraints were just a cover for your legs. No shoulder restraints.If you get scared easily probably you should keep walking. Otherwise, you should consider.

No question this is the best roller-coaster in Florida, If you have never experienced a hypercoaster I would highly suggest going on this one.

Where do I start? The only hyper coaster in Orlando, and the second tallest in Florida (second to Iron Gwazi at Busch Gardensis packed with energy and adrenaline. Starting with a 70 degree, 200ft, 73mph drop, it is a fast, smooth and fun coaster to ride

One of the smoother roller coasters Ive ridden. Very fast and very thrilling, especially because you are held in by only a lap bar. Only four stars simply because the overall experience is a bit bland and atmosphere isnt immersive like it would be whilenwaiting and riding the big name coasters at the premium Florida parks.

This is really a hidden gem. No one talks about just how great this hybrid rollercoaster is. Its super tall, has gorgeous views of the park and central Florida. The air time is super intense and a total blast. I like that its only a lap restraint so you can really feel the freedom of flying over the tracks. I rank this higher than velocicoaster and any other roller coaster here in Central Florida even though it doesnt even go upside down or have any inversions

I like this ride! I rode it seven times in a row. The wait time was less than ten minutes. This ride reminds me of Orion from Kings Island in Ohio.

My favorite ride here is so fun it makes your stomach drop when you go down the first drop and on the first drop it feels like your gonna fall out but you wont by sea worlds tremendous safety Im telling you some of the safest rides in Orlando are here!

This was my absolute favorite ride! Kraken was my favorite until I rode this. It was such a smooth and fun thrilling ride compared to kraken whereas cracking makes you nauseous because it is a lot of back and forth which causes an unbalance in the equilibrium.

This roller coaster was a blast. The ride was smooth.

So, I know that my opinion doesn’t really count cause I’ve only ridden around 23 coasters BUT, I think this is better that Jurassic World velocicoaster

So, if youre currently in the position I spent the day in during my first visit to SeaWorld and you are having some rollercoaster hesitancy or anxiety, heres what I recommend you do: (based on spending an entire day trying to build myself up to ride Mako)If you dont start with the sesame street coaster like I did lol🤦‍♀️try a water one. Atlantis wasnt open today so I waited for the line on Infinity falls (very easyto go down which was around 8 pm (i recommend going earlier but like I said, I spent all day working up to thisstart with Icebreaker. Theres no drop and no buildup, its just a quick backwards glide X2. Its a bit jerky but honestly so quick and easy. From there, try Manta. I asked the ride operators which was the mildest ride and many responded that Manta is a good place to start. Again, slightly jerky but no vertigo, no nausea and I didnt notice a drop since it was dark out. Finally, onto Mako. Regretfully, I spent a lot of time ascending the stairs to mako and watching the riders climb the steep drop, only to get freaked out by said drop and exit down the stairs 🤦‍♀️ I really wanted to ride it but couldnt get over that insane looking drop. Well, it turns out that the drop is the best part of the ride. It might have been the last thing I did at sea world (10 minutes to closingbut Im so glad I got to ride the coaster that many reviewers have described as one of, if not the best coasters not only in the country but in the world! And to think I almost went home without riding a single coaster 😂 dont be like me; get the coasters in early in the day so you can relax and enjoy the rest of the beautiful, awe inspiring wonders SeaWorld has to offer instead of getting worked up needlessly over fear of roller coasters. Im so glad I finally rode all of the rollercoasters, even if it was in the last hour 😂 I didnt see any reviews about people experiencing coaster anxiety so I hope this helps someone out there going through the same. Just know that the anxiety is totally unnecessary and youll end up having an amazing time no matter what you do. ✌(◕‿-)✌

Mako is my favorite coaster at Seaworld! It is a high speed steel coaster that after a large drop send you up and down multiple hills which make you feel weightless or in zero gravity. The coaster also allows you to get a nice view and goes around a pretty lake. The scenery of the station is very scenic and looks very nice. The theme really fits in with the scene of Seaworld and keeps you immersed.

NO. 1 RIDE IN THE PARK!!!!You get lots of airtime on the hills, no matter what row youre in. And the first drop is very intense in the back row! Would recommend for thrill seekers of all ages (as long as you meet the minimum height requirement of course ^o^).

Love this ride. Its one that will deliver maximum thrills but wont turn you upside down and make you feel sick

Its was awesome! The rush was incredible, but I didnt feel safe like the rest. You only have that thing that holds ur legs down if you put the straps that go over ur arms people will feel more safe.

Mako probably makos the list of top roller coasters I’ve ridden. (I know, that was a pretty bad joke attemptRoller coasters are known to be adrenaline rush inducers, but Mako is one of the very few coasters I’ve been on that actually makes me genuinely terrified with joy. It is a thing, trust me.The tummy ticklers on this ride are insane. The coaster goes fast, but not as fast feeling as some I’ve been on. I’m not quite sure what it is about this one. It is a very windy ride as well, much more than even the average coaster. Every time I’ve ridden I have tears streaming down my face by the end because of the wind (not crying, I promise).As fun as this ride is, I cannot give it 5 stars because of how frustrating it is to wait to ride. For some reason, there is no one directing traffic for the lines. So when you finally get up to the platform for each row, everyone kind of goes where they please and there’s zero order to it. Which makes things go so much slower because no one’s corralling people. Disney and Universal have this down and it’s so much more efficient. I think the wait time on this ride could be reduced dramatically if they’d only have someone in charge of the line queue- it’s an easy fix.

A great roller-coaster that is smooth, fast and high. It is the thrill of speed and weightlessness as you go overt the top and then drop with the gs as you go back up. Worth the trip if you like the thrill of a coaster.

Amazing ride, if you like adrenaline this ride is for you. Line was 40 minutes wait but is worth it. Definitely will come back with more relatives.

What a awesome roller coaster. It was a thrill from start to finish and is not for the faint of heart. This was the only roller coaster running the day that I visited SeaWorld. I was a little bummed out about that but got to ride this ride several times with the VIP pass. 👍👍

My favorite roller-coaster in the world. Ive been to maybe 50 amusement parks in 9 countries...and this is my favorite. You physical leave your seat 3 times during the ride. And the best part is you hardly ever have long lines, so you can ride it 4 or more times in an hour. Love it so much that I bought stock in the company.

Im visiting from Georgia and a friend of a mine is pass holder. There was several rides that were closed at 2pm So we were fustrated already. Then we finally got to mako sat in the seat after waiting in line and we out our belongs in designated basket before launching, the employee that was all the way in the beginning of the entrance went all the way to the top as we were locking in our chairs he embarrassed us and made us get off cause of he bag my bag so we technically went on 2 rides ridiculous and I dont recommend anyone waiting money on this theme park

Mako is a Really Good Coaster..That being said, it was just Voted Best Coaster in USA. It is Not... I feel there are a few others worthy of that title. ( Fury 325, Goliath, Diamond back 200 Ft. Tall. Some really good Air time moments.. I feel the ending is very weak.One of the better B&M Coasters out there.

Not much to say about this ride. Its intense and the first drop is always scary. I love sitting in the back row to get the most intense experience out of this beast of a ride. It feels like Im coming out of my seat a bit but I know I wont fall out. Still spooks me every time since Im a smaller adult and I always try to tighten ride harnesses as much as I can to feel safe.

The line was short and the ride was fun! I actually rode on it 3 times in A row. And it doesnt jostle you around.

This is one of my favorite Rollercoasters inThe whole Florida Area and all the other Amusement parks...nothing believe me, Nothing can better or beat the fall of this Rollercoaster. 100 out of 10

Loved this ride. Lots of peaks and valleys to get you weightless and it is a decent duration in ride length. High speed and great sustained banking.

Dont ride if you dont like feeling weightless. The restraint is a lap bar and your legs and body are free to love about great fun and very fast.

The SeaWorld coaster Mako is the scariest most thrilling roller coaster I have ridden to date. My advice is to wait the extra time to sit in the front set of seats. The steel hypercoaster was manufactured by Bollinger & Mabillard. At the time of this review Mako is the tallest, longest and fastest coaster in the Orlando area. The open cars use a lap bar to secure riders. In the front seat, the minimalist restraint and openness make the first 73 mile per hour drop and each additional moment of weightlessness, thrilling. It’s been some time since a coaster scared me and the first hill on Mako did! Ride Mako immediately.

Ive been on many roller coasters in my life, but this might be my favorite one and the best one. No lie. A super smooth B+M Hypercoaster with loads of speed and airtime. This is nothing short of a master piece. To top it off - there was next to no line. We went on it 7 or 8 times throughout the day.
