Open for tourists and worth the visit, if youre interested in this side of Dubai culture.
Dubais no 1 show mosque, open for guided tours. Our tour guide was exceptionally good, very informative, calm and patient.
One of the most famous Mosques in Dubai with a beautiful architectural design. The Mosque is opened for tourists to visit.
Jumeirah Mosque is a Beautiful mosque built in the 70s by Sheikh Rashid Al Maktoum. One of the tourist attractions in Dubai. They even offer guided tours to the Mosque for those special tourists.Enough Paid parking in front of the Mosque.
Absolutely amazing mosque. Beautifully ornate and with distinct design scheme inside. Went on a Friday for Jumma and as expected it was packed with a lot of worshippers outside. There is a ladies section. Set in a local area. There are parking options nearby in a field
So beautiful n peaceful..
Jumeirah Mosque is a mosque that was built in the 70s by Sheikh Rashid Al Maktoum one of the UAEs founding fathers. This mosque is open for the 5 prayers of the day for Muslims to attend the group prayer but as all mosques of Dubai the prayer hall is closed outside prayer times (&open for mosque visits, see below for more info.)The ladies section is clean and tidy !----This mosques uniqueness is in the guided tour titled Mosque Visit which started over 20 years ago by the Centre for Cultural Understanding.Visitors get to explore the mosque architecture. And they get a chance to learn about the religion of Islam. Whats special about this visit is also the open mindedness of the guides who will listen to ALL questions about the religion without passing any judgement! Questions cover not only the religion of Islam but also the Emirati culture. One question I heard from the guests was "why Muslim women wear black ?".When I first visited the mosque I was an intern, and as a Muslim Emirati woman, it was an I opening experience and it encouraged me to be more open and welling to share my culture with the world.Oh & the experience doesnt need any reservation!Everyday except Friday.Twice a day at 10 am and 2 pm.The rate is 35 AED (keep in mind that this is for a non-profit organization).People of determination are free of charge. Its good to keep in mind that the mosque visits are usually open even during public holidays.----For me I scored it 4/5 because I think it can be better.Maybe more clarity for tourists and worshipers with signs outside the mosque as I think many are confused in the reviews section. And more light indoors would be nice.
Beautiful mosque!! There is jumeirah majlis also! One of the attractions for tourists!!
Very perfect art of Mosque
Great education. Learned the 5 Pilars of life for Muslims.
Mashallah. Very beautiful and well maintained mosque. Have prayed there and felt very good.
This is a place you must visit. The personal is very nice, they receive you with coffee, tea and local food, if you are not wearing pants they brings you traditional clothes. Finally the tour in the mosque and the story telling of Islam are brilliant. We enjoy it a lot, greetings from Uruguay!

Beautiful place, and a great tour they give there. Dont leave Dubai without visiting the Jumeirah moskee
I give four stars because i didnt go inside as it was closed for public at the time i arrived. I would have taken the tour as i understand it is the only mosque giving interior guided tours to foreigners in Dubai. The outside is nice but do not expect it to be big. The grounds are small. For an impressive mosque you need to visit the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.
What a beautiful mosque and tea room. I learned so much about the Muslim religion. I did not know when I arrived that they were taking me inside for a learning session right away so I did not have time to change into more appropriate clothing or put my scarf on but they gave me a head covering and a robe. You must visit!
Very interesting landmark with an informative and attractive cultural tour,
Visited to see and learn a little about the Muslim faith. Very interesting and would recommend. Arroce 30 minutes before to register (as recommended). You have free tea/ coffee and pancakes before going into the mosque.
Great place to visit and learn about other cultures.Very warm and friendly people.
I live nearby this Mosque. Mosques are the most Soulful place on the Earth, and this Mosque is just a Masterpiece and very Soulful. We are thankful to Dubai Govt that they build such a beautiful Mosques around Dubai. They construct every Mosque with a lot of love and dedication.
Honestly, we expected a bit more. Unfortunately, there was a wait to get into the mosque and therefore this is something you need to check before arriving.
Lovely tour with a very knowledgeable guide. Absolutely love the experience. We learned so much more from this tour!
Jumeriah Mosque is one of the iconic places that one must visit to explore and learn about Islam and local culture. The local Mosque representative was very polite and the lady explained 5pillars of Islam explicitly and answered all the questions with utmost patience. If you plan to travel to Dubai, Do not forget to visit Jumeriah mosque. Superb place to click lot of pictures. The mosque is built entirely from white stone in the medieval Fatimid tradition, with towering twin minarets framing a large central dome. When its lit up at dusk, the intricate artistry and beauty are highlighted.Adopting an ‘Open Doors, Open Minds’ policy, local mosque representatives are on hand to conduct 75-minute guided tours. They also offer visitors an opportunity to learn more about the Emirati way of life and religion.
Nice location, small but with a beautiful view especially during night
Beautiful masjid. I prayed zuhr. I did t do the tour. I will definitely do the tour next time. I would like to know more about this beautiful masjid.
Very nice
One of the most popular mosque in Dubai constructed in the 1970s with model of the Fatimad dynasty architecture. The origins are from Syria and Egypt. It is a must see spot in dubai or just come visit for Friday prayer or jummah
Very beautiful, yet not all visiting conditions were clearly communicated. Check in advance to get the maximum of your visit.
Kind of class about islamic culture and history. Visit at 10am or 2pm, its the only time you can access
Beautiful architecture and open to people from all religions. Made entirely from white stone in the medieval Fatimid design. We visited here as part of our guided tour of Dubai. The area is lush green and offers a pleasant atmosphere. The mosque is quite spacious and can accommodate more than a 1000 worshippers. The area is full of tourists from various nation as it is one of the landmark places to visit in Dubai ! Recommended for both solo travellers and with friends/family.
Oldest mosque in Dubai.
Beautiful art♥️ it was really nice experience someone going through so much in life can go there sit and literally feel peace of mind
The Jumeirah Mosque is I think one of the secret spots of Dubai and at the same time very underrated. Abu Dhabi has the biggest mosque but it seems just to be a tourist attraction not a holy place. The Jumeirah Mosque is a must see place for Muslims and Non Muslims. It has a beautiful architecture and is very calm and quiet. Definitely check it out, it’s worth it.
Spent a very interesting morning at the Mosque! SMCCU offers daily visits at 10am and 2pm (except Fridays). In 70 minutes you immerse yourself in the Islamic culture and you also have the opportunity to taste local food. The staff is very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place! 🤗
Very interesting experience! Learned a lot about Islam and relationships among the diverse religions within Dubai! The guide, Muhammad, was very nice and funny! If you ever visit here, definitely be there when Muhammad is the guide.
Daily visits for all at 10am and 2pm (except Fridays). Parking space is available and you can also reach easily by the bus.You can only go around the Mosque and see the Majilis free of charge otherwise its paid. The cost is not a lot and includes arabian tea, coffee and snacks (unlimitedand a guide to explain everything there is to know about the Mosque and ready to answer any questions about their religion and practices (if you have). In the Majilis is the ticket counter. There is also a small shop selling some nice artefacts, you can click a picture with the falcon at 10Dhs, take a stroll upstairs where they have pictures from some other famous Mosques around the world. Washroom facility is also available here. The guided tour goes on for an hour. Before entering the Mosque, you have the option to wear the beautiful traditional attire for both men and women (needed to cover the head, for women, and if your dress isnt appropriate).
A great experience to take pictures from inside the mosque and guides explaining the rituals of worshippers and an idea of Islam
Beautiful architecture and peaceful place. Welcoming place for non muslims as well. You can visit on open days for a guided tour.
Very spacious historical mosque
Jumeirah Mosque located just opposite to the La mer beach and the city mall is a place which has been now opened to non-Muslims.The visiting hours for the Mosque is 10 AM and 2 PM. You need to dress modestly while visiting the place. Also, they provide refreshments before visiting the mosque.Theres a guide who explains everything in detail about the Mosque and the Islam religion.Should keep this place in your places to visit list.
Impressive, quiet place for tourists. Was given special clothes, suitable for the mosque. Interesting lecture and lecturer.
Jumeirah Mosque (Arabic: مسجد جميراis a mosque in Dubai, Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Construction began in 1976; the mosque is built in traditional Fatimid style which originated from Syria and Egypt. Opened in 1979, the Jumeirah Mosque visit has been a key activity under the Open Doors. Open Minds. programs of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding (SMCCU).The Jumeirah Grand Mosque was a gift from the Late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the former Ruler of Dubai and father of the current Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. It is said that it is the most photographed mosque in all of Dubai. Organized tours are available for non-Muslims.
Very nice place and visit. We learnt a lot about Islam, Allah and about the mosque and the prayer. The place is beautiful and people really nice.
Mashallah beautiful mosque. Prayed Fajr and Eid ul Azha prayer here during the covid times. Eid Salah was at 6:00 but there was takbeer from 5:00-6:00. After the prayer, there was a short sermon and then everyone was advices / requested to leave the mosque. Within 10 minutes the mosque was cleared and people were dispersed. Hat off to the team ensuring safety during these times.People who did not have their own prayer mats had the option to use disposable mats in the mosque.
You can visit the mosque from inside and get a really amazing tour by SMCCU that will give you a brief knowledge about Islam ... its start from 9:30 till 11:00 every day ✨
The Jumeirah Mosque believes in an "Open Door Open Mind" philosophy. It offers tours to the public to enlighten patrons of the culture and religion. Over time there has become a stigma around the Muslim religion due to the isolated radical extremist. I really enjoyed learning about the Muslim culture and reasons behind their prayers. It is truely beautiful inside and the people who run the program were fantastic. Enjoy!
The Jumeirah Mosque is a dominant landmark of Dubai city. Built in the medieval Fatimid tradition, this stone structure is a tribute to modern Islamic architecture. While strolling through the Mosque at sunset, you will be washed in shadows by this elegant formation.
One of the highlights of my trip. Never expected myself to like it so much, but the mosque tour was a real eye-opener. The program is dubbed "Open doors, open minds" and the guide was open and answered every question thoroughly, with real world relevance. Indeed, it is my hope that these exchanges would foster more understanding across cultures. Highly encourage anyone to visit.
Incredible looking architecture. Very hospitable service and great food. Please remember to wear modest clothing if attending a tour. Youll want to be there early to schedule your tour and spend time in their learning centre. Try the camel milk ice cream!
