Modern space serving Asian fusion dishes & bubble teas.
I absolutely love the Crispy Tofu and Pork Belly Bao here! Im from Taiwan and eating those baos reminds me of home so much 🥰Also, their winter melon lemonade is to die for, absolutely refreshing and goes well with lychee jelly (つ≧▽≦)つDefinitely would visit again!
We had cauliflower fried rice and chicken bowl. The food was good but the service was really slow.
Photos are not depictive of the restaurants true ambiance, it feels more like a cafeteria. Food is delicious; however, several menu items were lacking during my visit. Will give them another shot.
I went with a couples of friends after work and honestly i was disappointed. The food was ok but the employee were sooooo confused on what they were doing. They came to see us 3 times with things we didnt order and forgot one thing we did order. I ordered one drink and unfortunately my cup had a smell of a unwashed dish cloth which made not want to drink at all. Maybe i was unlucky but it was disappointing.
Come here if you want to be disappointed. Made a reservation a day earlier since we were only gonna stay in montreal for the thanksgiving weekend. When calling the person who picked up had a hard time hearing the call, but in the end we confirmed a reservation for 7:30. They told us that 7:30 is the latest they will SEAT customers. When we get there they told us that the reservation is wrong and 7:30 was the last call. They denied us a seat and directed us to the bar below. The bar was still open and was serving some food but not anything like restaurant kind. In the end we were left to go to the bar since it was cold and hungry. The restaurant mislead us to go there just to turn us away even when had a reservation. The bar’s chairs were uncomfortable. Had no support and you sank in. The food and drink portions were small and expensive. We ordered 3 snacks and had to wait a while for the last one. They forgot a straw on one of the drinks and the servers were a bit clueless. I flagged down a person from the bar who then directed a server but she had trouble finding which table the bar person ment even when the place wasn’t that big. Servers seemed more focus on the big party that was sitting close to us. Customers started popping balloons and ruined the vibe.
Taking one star off because the last time I went they had removed the karaage with rice from their menu. That was a little upsetting. Otherwise, service and food are both awesome!
Nice staff and lovely decor, but bubble tea was a little disappointing. To be fair I went late (around 6h45pmso maybe their teas are better during the day.
Perfect place for a night out in downtown. Great dishes and nice cocktails .
Relaxing chill atmosphere full of great food. This is a place to check out for sure. The bao buns were flavorful and very filling. The chicken katsu omurice was delicious, highly recommend. They have a bar downstairs with more food and drinks. Will try to review that shortly. The bar is open currently Thursday - Saturday.
Very very friendly staff, very nice ambience, and the vegetarian dishes are very delicious :the environment here just make people comfortable. My friend has her art exhibition and vernissage at this place, we are very happy with the outcome ^.^ thanks MajesThé crew!!!
The cauliflower fried rice is to die for :and it’s friendly for vegan ^.^The staff is so friendly here. Cannot wait to bring my friends here to enjoy this restaurant.Thank you Majesthé:)
Very warm environment, as an artist just have an opening here, the restaurant team is very supportive and caring, foods are also fantastic and delicious, highly recommended for family reunion, friends or lover dinner occasions!
Excellent food and service! Its not often you can get such unique dishes for a very affordable price. Love the fact that they have two different menus for both their restaurant and bar. Perfect for a date night or for foodies looking for a new local spot.
Amazing food, amazing ambience. Had a great time and the employees were nice. Definitely worth coming!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Super delicious food!
I went their with my colleagues as after-office hangout. This place has restaurant and bar area. We booked a large table in the bar area. It was pretty cool with music and food. The food was average but the place is awesome for a group hangout. I had beef rice bowl and Summer-is-Coming. The drink looks gorgeous but I would rather try out a different one next time.
the chicken katsu curry omurice is a must try!
Majesthe is a must visit every time Im in Montreal. They have amazing bubble tea, a beautiful restaurant, great staff, and of course delicious food.Everything is very flavourful and comforting, its hard to find good asian food in mtl. Also loved their bar a must check out as well!
The cauliflower quinoa fried rice was amazing--very flavorful! The melon green tea was very nice as well
Came here for lunch with my sister. She ordered the chicken katsu omurice while I ordered the pork belly rice (pictured). Both were ordered as combos. We also shared a MajesThé karaage.Everything was so delicious, and the portions were perfect. In fact, dont be deceived by the seemingly small size of the pork belly rice bowl. It was quite packed, and I almost didnt have room for the karaage!
Came in here after shopping and was excited that they had Taiwanese chicken. It was lightly breaded and juicy. The pork belly bao was my favourite. The bun was soft and the flavours inside were delicious. The kids had the garlic fried rice and beef gyudon which was very tasty too.
Looked promising as the place was filled with Asian students from McGill. Looking forward to a creative and authentic kitchen. I had an hour for lunch since I had a flight to catch. This is when they drop the ball. Food took more than 30 minutes to prepare. We explained our situation and obliged to bring the food even they said it was not really ready. The food arrived luke warm. Fried chicken oily and not interesting. Rice covered in an omelette was very plain. The bubble tea was not to the standards of Comebuy or Xing Fu Tang. I think our timing was wrong. Staff was very sorry for the bad experience and empathetic. Other wise, location is good. Hopefully, next will be better.
One of my favorite restaurants in Montreal. Their karaage chicken and spicy mayo are amazing; Im also a big fan of their milk tea, galaxy lemonade, and the kimchi or pork belly bao. The restaurant itself is very quaint and modern, the staff were always friendly, and everything is clean.Overall, I think the prices are reasonable for the food you get! Highly recommend.
Wow. It’s just so good. I’m super impressed, love it.
My girlfriend and I absolutely love this place! Its the best boba place in the whole city! We usually get the hojicha milk tea with tapioca perls. Trust me its the best bubble tea youll ever want after that. Also the Karaage fried chicken is to die for! The staff is always discreet yet professional and courteous! I totally recommend it!!
Good place to try as an introduction to Taiwanese food. Roasted Oolong bbt has always been my favorite here. The Taiwanese basil fried chicken was good, but the meat was so small. I mostly tasted the flour instead of chicken. Karaage bao was good, but something was missing, I can’t tell what it is. I love braised egg with braised pork. They were not cheap with the amount of meat in their braised pork dish.Good portions with nice display.
Pretty good lunch spot, had the curry omurice and the pork belly rice bowl. Portions looked small but were actually pretty good. I would highly recommend pairing their dishes with their galaxy lemonades! (Less sugar, less ice + lychee as the topping!)
we came here two years ago and our experience was great, so we wanted to visit again during our trip to montréal. the kaarage was our fave and still our fave this time around, mostly because it was actually hot when brought to us. everything else was pretty disappointing and worst of all, the curry omurice i ordered was lukewarm. the curry was giving me instant / microwaved vibes - it wouldn’t even mix with the rice well because that was cold too.
Great food, good service and affordable. Galaxy lemonade is a favorite.
The fried rice with salmon and the fried chicken were ok but the bun was a bit too sweet for me. I didn’t like the cake either but that’s just my taste. The bubble tea with honey was good.
This is a place with interesting food. Everything here is delicious and I would recommend trying all of them. But there have been some changes that I am not happy with, specifically their Bao. They have made then smaller and the new price is not justified. Plus, it is not uncommon for some popular items the be unavailable due to not being cooked yet or not having the ingredients.
Extemely friendly staff. They apologized for bringing our food late, but we didnt even wait that long. Food wasnt bad for the price. Seem like a popular place since they were out of salmon, curry and blueberries by the time we got their so we had to order other things. Their glaxay drinks look really pretty. Instagram worthy photos. Taste wise, its only ok. The only odd part was that our appetizers came out after we were nearly done with our main courses. We didnt mind since we were starving.
Having good experience for few times!! The orders comes quickly so you don’t have to wait too long when you are starving, the Taiwanese cuisine there are amazing!! Pork rice and fried chicken is a must try, of course can’t miss out the special dessert which is bubble milk tea ice cream!!
Delicious food, great service, cozy atmosphere, would definitely go back. I tried their kimchi chicken bao as well as their fried tofu bao. Portion is fair and both were very tasty. They have a variety of drinks. I ordered their specialty lemonade and wasnt disappointed: not too sweet and very refreshing for a hot summer day. Staff were friendly and the place is very clean. Looking forward to my next visit!
Delicious, unique dishes, and the service has been impeccable everytime I went. Their milk tea choice is also interesting! I personally love their baos and pastas, but thats only because I havent tried their rice dish yet... ;)
The ambiance was really cozy and very trendy. Very instagram if you are into that. The food is also very well presented. I had some expectations since they moved into a new place and seemed to have their menu upgraded compared to their previous place. My main turn off about this place is their hygiene. We asked to change our water since we could see the cup and the water wasnt clean and it was still dirty even after changing it. The utensils werent very clean either. The service was okay, and the food isnt wow either (maybe esthetically, but not taste wise). Maybe it because they have new staffs for the new place but the waiters seemed a bit lost with our order (always mixing them up or bringing it to the wrong table). Maybe Ill give them another chance sometime in the future when Ill see an improvement.
Really tasty, and love every single meal in this place. The milk tea is especially good! Go to there at least once per week.
I am not a fan of this place. The service was long. I was there for 15 minutes before someone came to take my order, and its not like it was full. There was a table of two next to me and one got their food before the other. By the time the second guy got his meal, his friend was done eating. And I had noticed that was happening all around. The table of seven behind me were all eating at different times and other takes as well. Now the food was interesting, and not in a good way. I cant say it was bad but it was not good either. My gyozas were burnt on one side, the chicken was too dry and the egg that came on my rice was flavorless.Oh and the ventilation in this place is horrible. You leave stinking. There are a lot better places out there, dont go.
I went on aug 22 when they had their 3 dollars matcha creme brule and 3 dollars karage special. Service was slow, but they were nice. We were given plastic spoons and plastic water cups, because they ran out of metal spoons. The drinks were good, only thing I would recommend here. We ordered the traditional bao, karage, creme brule, and the omurice. Everything came lukewarm, nothing was really hot, not even the curry that came with the omurice nor the karage. Also the chicken in the curry, was drier than canned tuna, and lets not forget it was cold. Pricing is moderate. Come here for drinks only.
We really enjoyed this cozy/trendy restaurant. All the dishes were very tasty and beautifully presented. My fav were the gochujang pasta and the pork belly bao. The service was excellent. We were too full for desert but they look amazing. Will go back to try the rest of the menu.
Went on a friday evening around 5ish. The place was quiet but got packed very quickly. The food was tasty and affordable. Chicken karaage was uber moist and freshly cooked. Veggies in my bun were fresh 👍 The waitress forgot about us when it came to dessert time but the waiter (Vincent as per the billwas super friendly and didnt mind us being silly. Staff stayed friendly til the end even though we were the last ones to leave. ❤ Will go again for sure!PS after reading many reviews...pork floss is very salty so expect the trad bowl to be salty...
I enjoy this restaurant very much. A fusion between Asian and Italian dishes. All dishes we ordered were reasonably priced, presented well, very tasty and filling. I preferred the pasta dishes, but all the food is good! Very unique and creative! The winter melon bubble tea was pretty good too.
Food was WAY too salty. I couldnt even eat it. I ordered the Traditional Porc rice and ended up trading with my boyfriend for his Charcoal Grilled Beef rice bowl, which was also slightly salty (but nowhere near as salty as the porc). Neither of us enjoyed the dishes.I also ordered the "krabby patty" Bao, which was okay, but not good enough to elevate my rating.Half of the menu was crossed out, and they had run out of half of the available dishes (no porc belly, no black tea). Also, the kitchen closed at some point during our meal and the staff didnt tell us (so, we were unable to order dessert after we finished the meal)Overall, a pretty horrible experience. There are so many better places to eat.
must visit when youre in Montreal ❤️❤️ I cant tell you what to order though cuz I basically ordered one of each :p theyre all great!! For drinks though - my favorite is brown sugar latte with no ice and no additional sugar with pearls 😍😍😍
Really tasty relatively newcomer restaurant in the McGill area. The food was great and quite rich. If you’re lactose intolerant, be careful as a lot of their dishes have lactose or dairy in it. Otherwise, the food was tasty and the service was really attentive. Also, they have the Galaxy drink which they pour and explain to you, plus let you know when to take a video! Would recommend!
A nice small cafe mixing pasta with Asian food. Simple and delicious and well priced. If you need a break from place des festivals this is a good place to drop by for some tea or a quick but filling bite to eat. The tea flavors is better than places like chattime. :)
The food was meeh... ans the service is decent. I guess the employes prefer to talk instead of working. At least, it look they put a lot of effort on the food presentation.
Nice place for a reasonable lunch or small dinner on the fancier side. Great customer service, they even pour the galaxy lemonade right at your table. Creme brule was delicious and the other dishes were good too. Galaxy lemonade not recommended for this who dont like vet sweet things, but it tastes great with lychee jelly if you do get it. Service was a bit slow due to lack of staff, but it was a rush hour during an odd time that seemed uncommon.
We love Taiwanese sausage, braised pork belly rice ,winter melon lemonade with pearls and oolong latte~ Their food has a great look , big portion and healthy flavor. Friendly staff & cozy environment must come again and again.
Small and cozy restaurant in a quiet area of downtown. I tried the braised pork rice bowl which was very nice. I was very happy with the service and friendly atmosphere. The tea samples were also a very nice touch and they inspired me to try a cold black tea latte as well. A solid choice for simple and tasty Asian inspired fare.
