Fine American fare & wine in elegant digs with an upstairs piano bar at the Caribbean Court Hotel.
Enjoyed a great birthday celebration dinner. Thursday night is a great option, with wine under 100 being offered at half price. Lovely ambiance and the salmon was nicely prepared and presented with a delicious pineapple salsa.
The food was delicious and the attention to detail and quality of service from both our waiter and the owner was outstanding. We really enjoyed our visit.Update we went the next morning for breakfast at the Creperie, and it was equally good and the service again was outstanding. Will return for sure.
Amazing experience. Excellent food meticulously prepared in a great atmosphere that was enhanced by very friendly and attentive staff. After dinner we enjoyed the cozy piano bar upstairs. Perfect evening out! Will definitely be back.
We came here for our anniversary. Great atmosphere with delicious food. The waiter Jeff had great recommendations and delivered a fantastic. The piano bar upstairs was a good experience.
The three most expensive restaurants in our area include this one. The dining room is beautiful and romantic. The service is very good. This restaurant has for years been up and down food wise and its up now.We like the Thursday night special, which a lobster tail and 2 small steak bites plus appetizer and salad for $35 each. We had the same meal tonight and it was a bit more expensive
Food & dessert was delicious, whiskey sours on point. Thank you, Kim for your awesome service.
Very cute, quiet restaurant. Prices are all around $40 or higher for main meals. Not a lot of menu options but the food itself is very good. The staff is really kind and friendly! We made reservations and were seated immediately, after ordering food took about 40mins to get. Overall a cute place, would recommend if you have the time and money!
Incredible! The food here is absolutely top notch, classy, flavorful. Chef definitely knows his way around the kitchen. Colleen runs the front of house and does an incredible job. All the staff is very attentive and friendly. I cant say enough good things about this place. The atmosphere is really great, quiet, and classy. All in all this is our favorite go to. Highly recommend.
Wonderful experience. Many thanks to Colleen for making our visit special
Really the best food in Vero, which is to say the best on the Treasure Coast. French Onion Soup is amazingly rich and Savory. The Chicken Piccata is bright and lemony!
Mason MartiniqueWow! Have we been missing some great meals! This past Thursday I noticed in 32963 (that’s our island weekly newspaper), Mason Martinique was having a Bouillabaisse Night On Wednesday’s. I decided after many years of not going there it was time to give it a try one more time.Years ago we were regulars when Chef Yannick Martin opened it and then years later when he and his wife Val returned for a brief run. This past Wednesday evening I paid a return visit. We were totally blown away. There was a nice warm greeting upon arrival. Then, into that great Dining Room. The beautiful dining room felt friendly and inviting. Great memories from many wonderful evenings in the past resurfaced. The only thing missing was that fabulous chandelier in the center of the ceiling. The good news is, it still exists. The restaurant owner, Colleen is in the process of donating it back to the Boston Music Hall from whence it came.Savanah , our server, we later discovered was on her first night serving on her own.She was professional efficient and most helpful. As you no doubt know, Bouillabaisse is a meal in it’s self. Lot’s of Seafood, potatoes, leeks , and saffron. No need for an appetizer to detract from the main event. The Bouillabaisse was excellent! I was expecting it to be good, but not this good. All the seafood was perfectly prepared. The potatoes still had nice texture. Yes, and the saffron was definitely spiking the broth. I must say this, is this best Bouillabaisse I have had since France, 10 years ago.But wait, there’s more, not that we needed another morsel. The Bread-pudding had to be sampled! Once again it was better than we were imagining. It was moist, warm with lots raisins an cinnamon and overwhelming with flavors. The small scoop of ice cream on top was the piece de resistance.Tonight we were definitely in a “Vero Beach 5 star restaurant”. Great ambiance, excellent service and fantastic food.Mason Martinique is back on our dining list!
Maison Martinique was a pleasant surprise tonight. One of the owners, Colleen, went out of her way to make the evening perfect. Food was outstanding! Service, by Mark, was superb! We’ll be back!
Best crepes in Vero Beach. For the savory aficionados try it with their Chives cream which is too die for and Italian coffee!
Beautiful boutique hotel and restaurant with an authentic French feel. Best crepes in Vero.
As others have said, atmosphere, food and service is in top class. A great special place for a romantic dinner, special occasion or for dining with friends, which is what I did. Quality like this does come with a pricey tab, but worth it.
Amazing. We reserved and sat outside since the weather was amazing. The back patio, only 4 tables, is absolutely amazing. A real garden garden patio, the scent of jasmine, the privacy and the subtle lighting were all perfect.Service from the hostess, waiter and bus service were friendly, efficient and well very good. The food was amazing. We had the shrimp toast appetizer and it was perfect, garlicky and flavorful. We had two entrees from the specials. I had a saffron bouillabaisse fish stew that was perfect and my wife had the red snapper over risotto that she enjoyed. Desert was the chocolate mousse which was also excellent. All in all a five star dinner. Highly recommended by us.
Brunch on Sunday was delightful.and delicious. Brie crepe and French toast were perfect. Lovely atmosphere, sweet staff and sophisticated tropical surroundings. A real treat.
A charming hidden gem in Vero. Small menu but excellent food! Staff and servers are great and attentive.
We used to love Maison Martinique until last year when we had a bad food and service experience. At the time management apologized and gave us a gift card. We returned this evening with high expectations that they may have recovered. The food was good and service was great ... until we tried to redeem our gift card. The assistant manager said they wont honor it. Unbelievable...
I made a reservation at the last minute to celebrate with my husband 8 years of anniversary and I have to say that it was incredible, the food was delicious, but I was very impressed with the attention that the waitress gave us she definitely made our night. She was very friendly and very informative. Thanks Jill F we hope to return soon.
First time dining since the new owners! Lovely, delicious meal. My husband had the Basque Shrimp and pasta. It was divine! I know because I ate most of it! Our friends had the Snapper special and loved it too. So charming inside as well. Also, they are open for breakfast at their “Creperie! Really delicious as well. So happy to have a new place to go in Vero 💕. Thanks Maureen and Chef💋
Had brunch with two other people. We all ordered different things and it was all great. Not many people there so, first right now, definitely a hidden gem with an excellent brunch menu. The waitstaff were friendly and helpful.
Went there on a whim. The barmaid Caela was great. Terrific personality. It was happy hour and looking at the place you would think the prices would be expensive but they were not. The prices were very reasonable. The atmosphere was very cozy and intimate. Great place to bring your love one or your date. Highly recommend.
Staff was great. Atmosphere was good, even relaxing. Piano player was often singing a bit off key. The seafood was very good, but the steak was a mis-stake. One other member of our party, and myself both ordered the steak. He sent his back, while I struggled through mine not wanting the extra wait. It was so terribly dry it was unbelievable. We got a side of aujuice, and the meat completely soaked it up. When the steaks were served, there was not a drop of juice on the plate. A medium rare order came medium.Just stick with the seafood.
We have been eating here for years. Although there’s new management, the food is still amazing. You can’t get food and charm like this just anywhere. We recently hosted a rehearsal dinner there. The food, from appetizers through dessert was incomparable. The service was fantastic as well. It was an upscale experience, just as I had hoped. It was a great value as well. I’d give them 10 stars if I could. I’m enjoying a very cold glass of outstanding Rose poolside as I write this.
Looking forward to trying a different restaurant based on the menu online. Regrettably the menu was from 2017 per the waiter we had. The Chef is new, one of many per the waiter...who, tried his best to be accomodating and helpful. Overpriced, very limited menu...especially the wine list...very overpriced. Mediocre at best. Chef is to purchase this venue, hope he turns it around as it could be special.
This is our new favorite restaurant! The atmosphere is amazing and the food is superb! We love their steak and the shrimp and scallops. Great wine list. We will be going once a week!
Nestled in a boutique hotel. I enjoyed gazpacho and also artichoke. My friends loved the steak, pasta, shrimp and scallops. After dinner we went to the Havana Piano Bar upstairs. Live music and friendly and responsive service. Made sure the guests were happy.
Excellent service in a romantic atmosphere, with even better food. We were able to enjoy live music at Havana nights and it was a complete turnaround from our experience a few years ago. Our server Casey was very attentive and convinced us the specials were the way to go. I am so glad she did! My husband enjoyed the surf and turf and my lobster cannelloni was cooked to perfection. Im happy to see the improvements in this establishment and cant wait to come back again.
New chef - trained in G.B. and France. Fabulous food, fairly priced. Indoor or outside dining. Pleasant waitstaff. So far, it is still a well-kept secret! But that wont last.
Lovely atmosphere, service was terrific and the food was the best weve had in Vero Beach. Chef Daniel was good enough to come out tableside and share his NY Strip magic. Pro tip: the bread pudding is wonderous...croissant based and worth every vacation calorie! Get here for dinner and linger at the piano bar. Lovely.
This is a high priced restaurant in Vero Beach which I’ve been to this past Valentine’s Day and 2 yrs ago for Christmas Eve. Both times I was satisfied with their 4 course gourmet meals. However, tonight I was disappointed. I ordered skewered tiger shrimp with sautéed squash.First off we had an early reservation 5:45 and no one else was indoors eating or outdoor with us. Yet it took 45 mins to get served.Secondly of all, it was “not” tiger shrimp as advertised. Tiger shrimp are white shrimp that are white with black stripes and very “sweet” and succulent. I’ve had them before. A friend of mine used to catch them. These shrimp were lukewarm upon arriving , pink, “dry”and tasteless & had a smoky flavor which I didn’t like but ate them anyway as I washed them down with salsa verde sauce which I did like. The veggies were good. I was hungry and never mentioned it to our waitress how everything was because I didn’t want any confrontation. I just replied “yes” when asked if everything was ok.However when my husband told me our bill was $80 including the tip I thought it was outrageous. We got no bread or rolls, or salad with our meal, salad was extra, we only had ice water, no appetizers , no dessert, no alcoholic drinks. I can honestly say that the skewered bacon wrapped shrimp over a Caesar salad at the Red Onion is much better and much cheaper. My husband got the grilled chicken and said that was good.A high priced restaurant like this should be serving sizzling hot succulent & sweet tiger shrimp as advertised.
I invited 2 friends to join me for dinner at Maison Martinique last night. (At 90 years old, they have enjoyed hundreds of good restaurants in all parts of the world. They raved about the impeccable service, and the delicious and beautifully presented entrees. They wanted to see Havana Nights and climbed the stairs for a quick peek but loved the energy and stayed for a few nightcaps. Seems there was a bridal party staying at the hotel; we were lucky to get seats at the bar. It was jumping! They had a wonderful time. Thanks to all for a great night out.
I was searching for a unique place to dine for an internet first date. I picked this restaurant after reading many reviews. The Maison Martinique far exceeded my every expectation.I travel for a living and frequently go to fine dining restaurants throughout the country and abroad. The menu options service, pricing, cleanliness and food quality, were all at a level one would expect . Ill mention great pricing again. The only negative was parking fills up fast during dinner hours, although there is plenty of reserve within a very short walking distance. I recommend getting there early and going to the piano bar.I would also recommend calling for reservations as opposed to making them online, it makes things easier for them and it is just part of the personal touch they offer that makes this restaurant a cut above the average fine restaurant. The date went very well, we will return. I also learned this restaurant is one of her favorites in VeroI live an hour away so I also booked a room at the hotel to eliminate driving after drinks. The hotel owner greeted me at check in and a complete tour of the facility ensued. The grounds the restaurant and the hotel are all extremely quaint with an extraordinary personal touch. The piano bar upstairs from the main restaurant had a dozen or so guests from the hotel and friendly conversations were very easy to come by. The room was very clean, updated and appointed nicely and the bed and bedding were some of the most comfortable I have ever encountered.Upon waking the next day I went in search of breakfast to discover that the restaurant offers a free full menu made to order breakfast at no charge including fresh squeezed Orange juice. The only slight negative in the Room was a dated radio alarm clock with no USB ports and only a couple of hard to access wall outlets available to charge those precious electronic devices. lolI would recommend an experience at this hotel and restaurant be put on your list of things to do if you are in Vero Beach.Once again it is better to call the hotel direct to make reservations they will go out of their way to accommodate you with the best available Room and rate.
My oldest daughter had the scramble eggs with home fries, bacon, and wheat toast. My youngest daughter had the waffle, and I had the pancakes with bacon and home fries. It was very good. Orange juice was fresh, the service was great and the atmosphere was beautiful as well.
That was for sure the best Dinner, and value for money, we got in out 10 days trip in Florida.Fresh fish and ingredients at its best.Fine dining for realSpinach salad was great.Mahi very tasty with a taste fireworkSeafood pasta amazingService was super friendly and perfectAnd the bill surprisingly doesn’t kill you (they don’t even fool you with drinks or side dishes (like the warm bread with herb butter)...100%
We were a party of four, were seated promptly and it went very well from there. The waiter was very attentive but never rushed us and the ambiance just right for a relaxing dinner with friends. Our entrees included swordfish, mahi-mahi and filet mignon all cooked to everyone’s great satisfaction. The menu lists half or full portion entrees which is a nice touch, can’t remember how many times the take home was thrown away days later. The restaurant was not overly crowded and it appeared that everyone was enjoying themselves. A gentleman who I believe is the owner, checked in with us to ensure everything was satisfactory and then thanked us when we left. There are a few great restaurants in Vero, this is one of of them.
Quiet, cordial service. Macadamia encrusted Mahi with coconut rice and vegetables was awesome. Onion crusted grouper was also good though the confetti rice was salt. Sparkling wine selections were limited and a bit sweet but the overall dinner experience was great and prices were fair. Goat cheese Bruschetta was very tasty. Portions of everything were filling.
Had a wonderful dinner. My wife and I both ordered the beef and reef special and we were both VERY pleased. It was the best meal we have had in a long time. Jodi was excellent as always. Very pleased to see her again. We will definitely be coming more often. Keep up the great work.
The old chef and servers that received high ratings in previous reviews are long since gone. The single server we had reminded me of the wicked witch of the west. We ordered the prime rib and we got a chuck steak artfully concealed with vegetables, showing only the eye of the large muscle, so as to fool the guest into thinking he had a prime rib in the dimly lit dining room. An old and cheap trick, but didnt fool this Culinary Institute of America alum. We simply didnt have the heart to make a fuss and disrupt dinner for the other guests. The culinary skill was so low that baby snack carrots from Publix were thrown uncooked into a vegetable medley. This place is simply a bad joke, riding on the coattails of nearby restaurants like the old standard Ocean Grill. Stay away.
My experience at Maison Martinique was nothing less than spectacular. I felt very comfortable and impressed with its ambiance and the service was impeccable. Paul Baum is an outstanding asset to the establishment. His manner and professional service is second to none. His approach is honest, easy going and highly professional. I can tell he takes pride in his work and that shows by his enthusiasm to impress his customers with utmost service. I have found many establishments with great ambiance, yet with service left to be desired, I have not returned. That is not the case with Maison Martinique. Paul Baum’s service, along with the other employees I encountered has left me with an indelible experience that encourages me to tell my friends and visit again. I also appreciated his compliment on my Vans. - Stan
Went to Maison Martinique Restaurant for a date night after making a reservation online. Pulled up to a lovely, boutique hotel with a beautiful courtyard. A very helpful staff member helped us find the entrance to the restaurant. The hostess checked us in for our reservation and sat us at a table directly in a walkway in the center of the room. It wasnt a big deal. No one greeted us at the table. Several servers and other staff members came in and out of the room ignoring us. The tables around us were receiving service. We were given water, but still no server. The chairs were very uncomfortable with short backs. We sat there with our menus for at least 10 minutes without being greeted or waited on. My husband is a local Executive Chef, and as forgiving and understanding as we are, we cannot tolerate being ignored. We got up and left. The hostess didnt even ask why. We headed to Bonefish where we had excellent service and food. We are very disappointed by this local restaurant and the local restaurant scene in Vero Beach. You have a better shot at having good service and food if you go to a chain. So sad.
Had my wedding reception here and it was wonderful! All of the staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect. I was blown away by all the attention to detail and how beautiful everything was. Also the food was outstanding. Im still getting compliments about this venue from my guests, they loved it so much. Truly a hidden treasure in Vero. We definitely plan to go back and make this place a special date spot. Extra thanks go out to Doug and his staff at the restaurant, the chef, and the sweet young bartender who got my cake topper for me! As well as the young man working the bar that night too who also helped with that and making the night a lot of fun. Also thanks to Sandra for pulling through for us on everything, you are awesome! Would recommend to anyone coming into town! Thanks again!!
We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary this evening and the food and service was superb! It was our 1st time dining here and will definitely go back. We will highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family! Thank you for making this special occasion so memorable!
Amazing food the price was fair and a service was great. I had the scallops over risotto and my wife had the blackened tuna. Both were Exquisite and prepared perfectly. We finished off with two desserts, I had bread pudding it was decent for what it was but not my favorite. My wife had the creme brulee which was perfect. The creme brulee was one of the best Ive had around. My only complaint would have been the bread. It was free so I cant complain too much but it was very dry and hard. Overall the experience is definitely worth trying out very unique place and as I said previously our entrees were perfect I will come back just for the scallops
This was our second visit for Dinner. First was upstairs and we enjoyed Brian playing the piano and atmosphere.Last night we dined downstairs with a party of 12. Chef Patrick and our server Amy ensured everything went smoothly and they were outstanding.Between the seafood selection and ribeye everyone had exactly what they wanted. The lobster bisque appetizer was delicious and the Creme brûlée was the perfect ending of the evening.I recommend downstairs if you want to sit and talk in a quieter atmosphere.Definitely worth experiencing their hospitality.
My husband and I love this restaurant! The food is amazing and the place itself is beautiful. I had the escargot for an appetizer and the onion encrusted grouper for my entree, both were delicious. We shared the three tier almond dessert and WOW is it good! The staff is polite and professional and know how to be attentive without being a bother which is important when you want to have a romantic evening. We recently went back but this time we went for lunch. I ordered the shrimp crepe with orange segments and a lobster sauce to die for. My husband had the beef Medallion sandwich and truffle fries, which I stole half of. They are addicting! We shared the pumpkin cheesecake which was not only delicious but made from scratch! Our server Johnathan was friendly and professional. It is lunch at its best!
We live in Fort Lauderdale, so we know all about good restaurants and great restaurants. I had the grouper which is probably one of the top 2 best seafood dinners Ive ever had. Presentation is the icing on the cake. The meal was unique, the vegetables were outstanding. We had the cold asparagus soup which was amazing. The bread was wonderful, something very rare these days. The sauce for the fish was out of this world. Our server, Tim, was a pleasure. I cant wait till Im back in town.
My husband and I recently dined here and had a great night! We enjoyed an evening of good food, great service and good company. I have been craving the lobster bisque since we left, quite truthfully the best I have ever had. Our server, Barry, was exceptional. He was friendly and entertaining, without intruding on our special night. Thank you to the whole staff for such a great dining experience. My husband and I will definitely return on our next visit to Vero Beach.
I was able to eat at Maison Martinique twice during my stay at their beautiful hotel. For lunch, I was very impressed with the freshness of the plate before me. Plump shrimp and fresh veggies made for a great healthy lunch. For dinner, we had the red snapper for two. This was the best fish I have ever had. The savory sauce on the fish complimented it perfectly. Grilled vegetables and a mini quiche were well seasoned sides.I wanted to also mention the service, which was phenomenal. The waiter had an intimate knowledge of the menu. He was very attentive to our needs and my glass was never empty (which is a big deal for me). I cant wait until I get to go again.
