October 6th marks the only day weve enjoyed our stay in Ahmedabad. The uncle from Darjeeling welcomed us warmly and service could not have been better. I think we all know the feeling when youre tired and food is the only thing you need. After a long day of activities and shopping, we never thought such a place with great warmth and service could brighten our moods. Thank you Mainland China💓-from the group of 5 friends

worst taste of food, everything was burnt as hell. we went here once before, its service was awesome but now they are worst in service and food also. it took more than an hour for only 2 ordered items.

Authentic Chinese food in Ahmedabad, then Mainland China is the place.

The best Chinese food I have had in a long time. Truly great noodles and stir-fried vegetables. Service was also impeccable. The ambience was also perfect. The only minor issue was that they didnt give chopsticks to eat the noodles with.

The food was authentic .the portions really good . The staff was knowledge able . Because the mall is not doing well less customer. The price was @ par very good mutton and prawns .

I recently went to this place , the staff was very nice the quantity and quality of food was awesome , for a restaurant like that its very cheap and the chinese there is one of the best chinese i have every tasted.

Worthless food…. I am a regular visitor of Mainland China…. I visit almost every 15 days as my wife is a die-hard fan of the Sunday lunch buffet…. But recently what we have experienced that the quality, different variety of cusines have detoriated….. They have stopped serving dimsums, prawns in starter and the worst thing which I felt is they now serves chilli chicken with bones and believe me it tastes terrible…..Table service has also gone from bad to worst…. Since last 2-3 months I have seen this that their services have detoriated terribly…From now onwards I will never ever visit your place again atleast the Ahmedabad branch….

Heres what I love the most .chiken taipai,Eight treasure soup and lastly the most amazing chiken sauchen dimsuns.loved it would recommend to visit. For authentic Chinese.

One of the best places in Ahmedabad to have Chinese food. Currently they dont have lamb dishes on their menu. But make sure to ask the waiter for lamb options, and they shall surprise you!Their Oriental crispy lamb, eight treasure soup, General Taos chicken and chicken fried rice are a must try.

Authentic Chinese cuisine and good taste, but scope for service improvement

Restaurant was beautiful, food was good... Just that I felt its again an Indian varient of Chinese food... And JAIN option is innovative.... Must visit as its one of the best option for oriental food...

If its Chinese its Mainland China the proof is the satisfaction you get after getting served with meals with tasteful and appropriate portions and in a good way...Must try::Bhetki fish dishesWontonsAnd the deserts....

very poor service....manager is not cooperating. they also charge full price for child age of 3 or 4 years. this thing is very disappoint compare to other restaurants & barbeque. Washroom facility is not available. food is also average taste. Manager behaviour is very poor.

Very Bad experience. i Suggest you to dont go to this place. they are not proper in communication. also they charge for children whatever age. if children is of 3 or 4 years they will charge full like adult charge. their food is also not tasty. mainland china you should also have to improve cleaning in restaurant. there is no facility for handwash. very bad experience.

The place is inside a mall and is very well made. It’s spacious and has a good ambience.The food was slightly spicy for our taste but it was otherwise delicious. The quantity was also very good.The staff was very courteous and helpful and the service was extremely prompt and good.

Rated 3 for the taste and quality of food! The buffet service was not upto mark. Though only half our guests had arrived, they charged us for almost double the number of guests(as they said we have to pay for the aforementioned number of guests though that number didn’t turn up). Feel cheated somehow and won’t recommend it for throwing a party/buffet plans.

It was amazing food, not found of Chinese food but you guys have changed my view ,you guys were amazing MainLand China !

Food was excellent. The service was great and very welcoming. Went on a weekday night and the ambiance was lovely and had a great time with family and friends. Tasty dishes and many vegetarian options to choose from.One of the best Thai curries I have had and the deserts were a great way to end the family gathering!

It seems to have seen better days,a lot of dishes which are available online were not in the reatsurant menu plus they seemed to be understaffed because of which inspite of just 40-50% occupancy they were unable to efficiently handle customers.Feeling sad I hope they pull up their socks and be the most loved Chinese joint as in the past

Food is too good....

Tried very first time ordered thru Swiggy! Good was ok, beside very small chunks of chicken as of me getting free feed, felt too pricy for few small chunks of chicken which gave me feeling of either I was eating exotic food or I was eating last chicken left on earth hahahaha, it was none of that beside too high in price and didn’t found it was worth money!

Dine In: have been to this for a couple of time for both Set menu during weekdays and À-la-carte at dinner time.Food Quality: 9/10 : excellent food quality- ingredients both vegetarian and non-vegetarian are up to the standard. Most dishes have contextualized for Indian (especially Gujaratitaste but I have to admit that it was nicely handled. I enjoyed it all the time and make me nostalgic for the oriental food from my past trips. You can feel the freshness of the dish and smell.Service staff performance: 9/10 Great etiquette from the staff. Calm and friendly staff.Speed of service: 8/10 not bad at all. Sometimes it takes longer depending upon the number of customers and ordered dish.Ambiance: 8/10 - great ambient light and oriental artifacts. Great place to find an informal and formal meeting.Value for money: 9/10Cleanliness: 8 /10Additional services: 2/10 No attached restroom with the restaurant…! They have Authentic chinese taste in their cuisines. Their food quality and quantity both are good. The everage food cost would be approx 900-1000 for 2 people.

Tried their Chicken friend rice and Huami Prawns..Prawns were good and fresh but chicken rice is not impresive as it tasted like a typical indian fried rice , very less quantity of chicken as well. Mango Pudding was average.

All the food and the ambience is sure to give you those chinese vibes. If its Chinese,Its MAINLAND CHINA. Mainland China isnt just a name, its a brand. So when it comes to consistency with Asian delicacies, Mainland China is the first name that pops up in our minds. They have been synonymous with providing consistent and high quality Asian cuisine across their numerous outlets. Coming to the service, everything was taken care of very nicely. The staff members are very well behaved and courteous. So visit there for the authentic Chinese delicacies.😋😋

I have always returned to Mainland China for simply food and nothing else. Their service was never really worthy of comment. However, this last visit was the other way round. The food is okay (definitely not worth the prices anymore), the menu is fairly limited but the service was good for a change. I believe their Chef has changed recently. Way recommend giving a miss to seafood, if you happen to be here.

Its a great place for Chinese Food

Located in 4th floor of gulmohar mall, mainland China is one of the few places in Ahmedabad that serves authentic Chinese. The place has been designed beautifully so as to give an authentic look. The artifacts and sculptures used also give the place an authentic look.We had opted for an unlimited meal. Priced moderately at 349 for Veg Meal we were served :Hot and sour soup : Really thick and balanced on taste. This one was literally to die for. Have not seen many places serving such delicious hot and sour soup in town. 5/5Black pepper tossed Tofu : A delight for tofu lovers. We enjoyed the taste. 4/5Hakka noodles : This one had the least amount of sauces and thats what made it really tasty. The noodles were soft and veggies absolutely crunchy. 5/5Ginger fried rice : Yet another dish with least sauces and perfect taste. Surely a delight for those who love authentic taste. 4/5Veggies in mix sauce : While this one was surely tasty and went well with fired rice, we found this one a bit spicy. It surely went well with rice which was a bit bland. 3/5Crispy honey chilli noodles with vanila icecream : Yet another authentic dish, might not go well with everyone but we enjoyed the taste. 4/5The option turned out to be a reall value for money. Would surely recommend this one to many.

Would give it 4 and a half stars. One of the best Chinese food in Ahmedabad. Do ask them for the desert menu you will love it. They provide chop sticks only on demand. Skip the soup if you can.

Very good ambience but the quality of Chinese fried rice and noodles are not good. Nothing Chinese about it, just plain rice and some egg, hardly any chicken, and that typical smell was also not there. Serving was fine and fairly quick. Price is high for the quality of food.

The place got very beautiful ambiance and also the food was nice..Just bit not pocket friendly but worth trying if you love to try new places then must go.

Best authentic Chinese food in the heart of Ahmedabad. As usual mainland China kept up their brand name with the perfect ambience and highly efficient crew. The staff knew exactly what they were talking about and gave their recommendations as well. The food was extremely delicious and cooked to perfection. The only downside was with the seafood we ordered. The prawns and the fish tasted a tad bit stale. I guess that’s a general problem with Ahmedabad and not the fault of the restaurant staff. Overall, if you’re craving Chinese food, and would like to avoid burning a hole in you’re pocket, this is the place to be.

Absoultely love this place for their food, hospitality and decor. They save awesome and authentic chinese food which makes this my favourite place. We sampled quite a few dishes ala carte and then their buffet. Ecery single dish is delicious and their weekend buffet lunch has some great variety. Non vegetarians would love this place especially for their variety. We also went for their unlimited fixed menu lunch on thw weekdays which is a complete value for money deal. A must visit for all foodies.

If real Chinese cuisine excites you, this is one of the best places in ahmedabad. Do not expect the roadside Chinese flavour as some items may be really blanch, even items like hot and sour soup. They have maintained the simplicity of real Chinese cuisine and the ambience as well(music, statues and trinkets)

Great place to have good authentic chinese cuisine with a matching south east asian ambience and decor. You can try your hand with chopsticks too. It adds to the experience. Mocktails are refreshing as well. Quality and quantity of the dishes are perfect. The staff is helpful and courteous. Prices are reasonable. Must visit for authentic chinese dishes.

I had a good experience with my colleagues at Mainland China. Good ambiance, average food. The treasure soup in starter was really tasty.

Great place for good sea/non veg food. It is not authentic Chinese but it tastes awesome! Had Lobster and Fish, was amazing. The rice/singapore noodles are a must try. Pair it with orange juice mock tail..FYI: few annoying people in suites who take order will keep insisting you to order expensive dishes telling you that its good. Shut them up and order what you like!
