Super convenient locationWalkable distance from Taipei Main stationThe room is nice and super clean with comfortable and warm blanket.For dorm room, The curtain completely covers the buck bed, you will feel so private and protect the light from the outside.However, the toilet for dorm room users are inside the room.No elevator.

dim light in every corner of the hostel, difficult to relax and rest well due to constant disturbance, e.g., latenight check-in (2-3am), eletronic drilling in the wall early morning. Strongly recommend to look for anywhere but here if you have other choices.

Stayed here twice now as its next to an entrance to the Taipei Main Station complex. Very quiet on both occasion, lovely beds and pitch black inside so I slept really well and Im a notoriously light sleeper. Will stay here every time I come north from now on.

Can i rent for a few hours?

Exceptionally nice and friendly staff and great location, definitely recommended.

Stayed here for 10 days. The staffs here was friendly and polite, especially the middle age lady, she was very helpful and really friendly, this is the type of service that we want like her in the customer service industry. The resting place are on the 6th floor of the building, there’s tables, sits, balcony’s for smokers, bathroom, toilet, washing machine with washing powders provided but there are no place to dry your clothes. I really enjoyed staying here, Thank You Main Inn Taipei.

Its a hostel that is PET FRIENDLY! 😍

The place is near the station 500 meters from the nearest exit as you need to cross the road.Pro: Its very clean, the bathroom has ample space specially to the ratio of the room. It has your basic needs, ref towel, free bottled water etc. Check in and out is very very smooth.Cons: There is no lift, it will be hard specially if you have elderly with you or you have big luggage. I find the stairs a bit steep as the lobby is in the 2nd floor and our room is on the 3rd.

This hotel is near Taipei main station, just 5 minutes walk approximately. The check in is quick and easy. The staff is friendly, attentive and so helpful. The room is small but clean and comfortable. There is no lift, we have to climb the stairs. The room rate is a bit high.

Good location and service

Strategic location. You can take train to airport by just crossing a road. Easy access to 地下街 and q square. The disadvantages is you have to walk up the stairs if you have a big luggage. Or else you can ask for help at reception counter. Definitely worth of this price. Room is clean and nice.

I am editing my review. Stayed in standard room in definite need of an upgrade. Maybe its the time of year, but everything just seemed damp. The bathroom floor never dried from showering, neither did the towels. You could hear everything happening in the hallway and other rooms, especially running water. I got eaten alive by mosquitos in my sleep. I would not recomend this place. Stayed in Hotel Relax. Much cheaper and nicer.

This hostel is conveniently located across the Airport MRT station in Taipei and one can easily go by crossing the street at the underground level, and Exit Y13 has escalators and an elevator for easy luggage access. The staff is courteous and helpful.I stayed in a 4-bed ladies dormitory that was spacious, I got the lower bunk, the bed was wide enough and equipped with a small night light on one end, and two universal power supply outlets. Theres a small cabinet for your bags and will likely fit a medium sized luggage. You are provided with a small towel, slippers, toothbrush and a paper cup.The restroom and shower is in the room (one entranceand quite spacious.The two picky minuses for me are:(1hostel is located on the 2nd through 5th (they count as 6th because theres no 4th floorfloors in a building that doesnt have elevator. The staff is helpful and will help move luggage to your room. Im personally not a fan of having other people carry my load is all.(2the carpet on the stairs look dated and dirty.

Nice cosy place to stay for your trip if you do not want to spend too much on accomodation. Staff is helpful.

Easy to check in and find

Good central location. Small room without proper window, so lack of oxygen. Bathroom is very much OK. The building is very noisy though, I could hear the electrical toothbrush of another room in the morning...

The staffs are very friendly and the location is strategic near metro station

The good:Very close to the Taipei Main Station and Bus Terminal. Spacious dorm with comfortable beds. Very nice working area with a small balcony to sit outside. Good kitchen with cooking opportunities and equipped with everything one needs to prepare food. I got a small towel, one 0,5 L bottle of water as well as toothbrush and paste.There is free fresh coffee from a coffee-Vollautomat, which grinds the beans and coffee milk on offer. Free orange juice (orange sugar water with orange-lemonade flavouras well as hot, warm and cold drinking water.The bad:There is only one bathroom including toilet for 6 people in the mixed dorm. The location doesn’t offer a lot of eateries or shopping opportunities and is a bit aside from the sights and going-out-area. The public area with the kitchen is only open until 12 AM.Conclusion: I would have stayed longer but the dorms were booked out.

Cozy and nice place to sleep for backpackers

Great location, amazing hardworking staff, great facilities including WiFi and laundry, spotless linen. No elevator can disadvantage differently able/injured. Unfortunately, the rule against flushing toilet paper makes an otherwise awesome stay slightly awkward.

I liked the stay, the Main Inn granted my request for a quite room and for my upper deck request. Will definitely come back soon. What i really liked the most is the smiles and greetings of the staffs! Keep it up!

A nice choice to stay if you want an affordable place to stay in Taipei, and its very convenient to explore taiwan from this Hostel, its near Taipei Metro and near Taipei High Speed Rail to any place in Taiwan.

Definitely the smelliest hostel in Taiwan!The air doesnt really flow. The room, restroom and common area all smell funny.And I believe they have hired a really good photographer, coz the actual space doesnt look like any of the photos online at all.

No elevator, traveler with huge luggage should take this into account

Excellent location, very close to Taipei Main Station. However there isnt an elevator and rooms are a bit dim.

The rooms are small and cramped (which is to be expected for city center areabut the rooms are cosy and clean. but most importantly, their staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the here service is top notch. Will definitely stay here again if Im in the area. Its also just in front of Huayin St where you can shop and eat.

Cosy and convenient. Accessible via Y13 exit. No elevator though. Those with large luggage may face some challenges going up and down to the lobby.Guests are required to leave your room keys with the receptionist.

Stayed in a 4-bed female dorm on the 5th floor - really helpful and friendly staff who insisted on carrying my luggage up (theres no elevatordespite my objections!The room is really narrow - the 3 other girls in my dorm had really huge suitcases and there was absolutely no way we could open our suitcases all at the same time. The room is also really dark so ladies, you wont really be able to see what youre putting on your face...BUT the bed itself is decent and the toilet is actually quite big too. Also the location is perfect! Especially for those who are taking the train to the airport - its connected to the y13 exit. Since I paid just about 350 NTD for a nights stay, I would say its really good value and wouldnt hesitate to recommend this for a nights stay.

very close to Main station, go out at Y13 exit, walk around 30seconds, I arrived the Main Inn Taipei. it is super convenient. but only suit for backpacker with small baggedge, cuz no elevator. Room a bit tiny but clean and I can have good privacy.

Comfortable bed, blackout curtains, quiet environment, powerful heated shower and clean rooms. Moreover, main train station entrance at door step and many eating places and convenient stores nearby. Definitely is an excellent rest stop for your next destination.
