you need to get there at 9 AM for morning prayer. You need to slow down when trying to get into the access.

Must Visit Place! One of Sangha Theravada Indonesia Temple with nice view and it’s a peace place. You can pray to Sivali here as well.

Tempatnya lumayan bagus,,, untuk sementara belum dibuka untuk umum,,, untuk beribadah jumlah orang dibatasi

Tempat ibadah yang menakjubkan. Bener2 seperti di Thailand dan dari luar jalan sudah terlihat. Kesini menggunakan pakaian sopan ya, dan cukup lapor ke security isi buku tamu serta tidak berbayar. Tutupnya jam 5 sore dan tidak ada kompromi untuk masuk lewat dari jam segitu.

Tempatnya adem dan sejuk, lihat betapa indahnya toleransi di tempat ini 😍

Tempat luas dan bagus dengan arsitektur khas Thailand disertai dengan nuansa Bali. Juga terdapat banyak acara keagamaan dan rutin dilakukan. Beberapa tempat mungkin kurang dirawat sehingga ada rumput liar yang tinggi. Terdapat juga sekolah PAUD hingga TK.

Clean, clear, and good care prayer site, nice architecture. The temple ambience is fresh and quiet in the morning. Free pass and easy access.

For a religious Buddhist prayer and ceremonial place, this temple is not like an orthodox Buddhas temple generally.It has coffeeshop, library, and many scenic spot to take pictures.

Tempat menarik untuk didatangi saat ke Balikpapan. Tidak ada biaya retribusi, parkir cukup luas.

Very beautiful place. One of the best in Balikpapan. I also like the cafe. There is also snack stall and food stall thats organized by the Vihara it self ,so its safe and clean.

Visitors can visit this place mon-sat starting 2-5 pm. Make sure you wear proper clothes, no short pants

Candi Budha modern terbesar di Indonesia, terletak dibukit dekat dengan RSUD Kanudjoso Djatiwibowo Balikpapan, view memanjakan mata, diwajibkan menggunakan pakaian sopan karena fungsi utamanya sebagai tempat ibadah umat Budha, bagi yang menggunakan celana pendek bisa meminjam sarung di lokasi vihara

A beautiful Buddhist temple in Balikpapan, East Borneo. This place is really quiet that it gives you peace in your mind and soul. It’s suggested to dress politely when visiting this temple to show respect and not to talk loudly. And furthermore I admire the architecture of the temple. Simple yet so elegant.

Good place for praying and taking pictures

Based on the structural and architectural, this is such a nice and pretty Buddhist temple. A lot of decorations and ornaments are in Thai nuanced. Even though this monastery is not that big, but the good layout made it look pretty spacious.Just like other theravada buddhist temple, there is a weekly chanting with the buddhist fellowship here i supposed, so for tourists to come, its better to confirm before coming and of course in a proper outfit.I stopped by without any notice, in Tuesday morning, there was no monk standby, no guard at all, just 2 workers busy with the job. I wished to get more information about this place actually, so it didnt feel useless, but maybe I could come again someday. I also hope the workers will clean the temple regularly in order to maintain this holy place.
