Maharaja Bijli paaai kila visitIt is good placeIt is ancient palace
Superb, fully greenery area and natural beauty. But required maintenance
Roads are good.. take care while crossing chauraha.. lko mohotsav front gate near by.
A beautiful place, but not well maintained, currently closed due to covid
The place is in shambles. With vegetation overgrown in October, November, the memorial is uncelebrated. It might appear very unsafe to many specially after evening. But the Qila has huge potential. If reclaimed the legend will get its due in public imagination.
Great place to chill!!If you are planning to go make sure that you check the timings....
Nice place to hangout but its temporarily closed now hope it opens anytime soon
Best thing about this park is that it expands in a large area and very neat and clean place
Historical . But not many people go there ,except couples
Land Fort ruins in Lucknow city. Famous places of Lucknow city - Bara Imambara / Asfi Mosque (built by Asaf-ud-Daula, Nawab of Awadh in 1784), Rumi Darwaza (An imposing gateway which was built under the patronage of Nawab Asaf-Ud-daula in 1784. 60 feet tall), Chota Imambara / Hussainabad Mubarak Imambara / Muhammad Ali Shah Tomb (Nawab of Awadh in 1838), Taj Mahal replica / Tomb of Princess Zinat Asiya (Daughter of King Mohammad Ali Shah Bahadur), Satkhanda (Iconic 1800s watchtower with a stout octagonal base), Picture Gallery Museum and Ghantaghar, Sibtainabad Imambara / Amjad Ali Shah Tomb (King of Oudh/Awadh), Nadan Mahal (Mausoleum of Shaikh Ibrahim Chishti, a saint and the first governor of Lucknow during the rule of the Mughal Emperor Akbar), Ambedkar Memorial Park, State Museum Lucknow, Indira Gandhi Planetarium, Shah Najaf Imambara, Qaisar Bagh area (It was built by Wajid Ali Shah, the last Nawab of Awadh), Tomb of Saadat Ali Khan etc.
The fort is in ruins surrounded by dense forest like area... The sight at the top of Qila is good and a must see if you visit this place... Lots of memories are attached with this place... As me & my friends used to come here usually... We still go sometimes...Very calm and peaceful place... which is one of the best things about this place... You will see a lot of peacocks... There is a statue of Maharaja Bijli Pasi and a ground in front of it...Two disappointing things about this place are that it opens for a very short period of time, from 6 to 8 in morning, and 3 to 5 in evening.... And the second one is that its maintenance is not done properly and is constantly worsening... Earlier there were many seating places which are now abandoned and the forest has grown wild... Proper management is needed ...
No doubt its a historical place... But is not developed and attractive
Maharaja Bijli Pasi Quila is another historical landmark in Lucknow which is worth a visit. As compared to other historical attractions of Lucknow, Maharaj Bijli Pasi Quila is a lesser known. Located in the residential area of Ashiyana, this tourist site in Lucknow is one of the not-to-miss places in the city for history buffs..
This is a Lucknow is very old place this is very old Kingdom historical area 11 century King Maharaja Bijli pasi ka kila
best place to photo shoot
This is a reserve place and look like a mini forest...Also this is a very peaceful place...
One of the haunted and Decent place Lucknow....this park is not so famous so very less crowd goes there . park is opened for limited time duration 6-9am and 3-6 pm...there are no entry fee.. peacock and many other birds are attraction of this park...the story of pond and three pillars are good..😗😗
I have been there several times. There is so much peace and greenery. One can take a view of mahotsav park from there. The timings are 6am to 9am in morning and 3pm to 5pm in evening.
you can see here picocks and heels
This place is the ruins of old Bijli pasi quila. This place is quite famous among locals for peacock sightings
Historical place. There is a good location for photographing. There is a very good bird like peacock ETC.
The Gupta empire (fourth to sixth century A.D.as well as the empire of Harsha (seventh centuryhad brought the entire northern India under strong, centralised rule for a long period. However, the region saw a bitter struggle for domination between three powers, the Rashtrakutas, the Pratiharas and the Palas in the subsequent centuries. Maharaja Bijli Pasi who is credited with the founding of Bijnor, now a small town near Lucknow, was an enlightened ruler who appears to have consolidated his position and established his reign over a large tract of land in this region. He was a contemporary of Prithviraj Chauhan. He was an able leader of the "Pasis" , a fiercely independent people indigenous to the locality. He constructed 12 forts which is an indication of the prosperity of his kingdom as well as the power he wielded.
Its too silent and clamful place where you can enjoy in spare time..
It is a very beautiful place and near the kila a mahotsaw park is more attractive
Not a place of historical importance but a nice place for morning walk. Forest acts as lungs for this part of the town. Walking track needs some maintenance. Right opposite to Smriti Upvan and venue for Lucknow Mahotsav. One time watch if you are passing by, else not worth trouble of coming from far off. No parking available inside the park, some unsecured space available for parking. No refreshment place available. So bring something to eat for your self if you tend to get hungry quickly.Very close to Bangla Market and Ratan Khans market.
This is nice historical place
had been there once and its a preserved ruined mound with luch green vegetation and trees, good place to enjoy peace and meditation and yes a nice old mound with still few structures intact. As a guy of archaeology its special to me,discovere an earthen bead on the surface that is supposed to be of between 600-200 BCE and few pottery sherds and feathers of peacock and kingfisher bird.
Its a nice place to visit. Special thing about that is that it is free of cost . Its trimming depend on the season . In summer it is 4-6am and 3-4 pm, while in winters it is 5-8or9 am and 3-4 pm . Here u can see quit a few animals rather I should say bird for eg peacock, kokoo etc. Here is also a monument of maharaja bijli pasi and also a gentle sloped tower like made of mud where u had to climb on it which is dangerous but still thrilling and from there u could see a beautiful view all around specially in winter when there is fog filled all around .At last I want to say its a good place where u can go for time pass or just for fun with yr loved ones.PLEASE LIKE THIS PARA IF U LOVED ITTHANKS
Nothing much to see or explore. Just a mound amidst vegetation enclosed by a walled boundary, but a historical landmark nonetheless.
its old historic place. Zero interest place. Now a days only used as map icon
Need of proper maintenance
Ruins and paths remind you of glory of past
Less known historical place in mid of Aashiana. Good place to shoot pics.
Its great place for birds photography and the best part is its in the center of the city..best timing is October to December. morning time is good .
