I called in last Friday for a beer after a day out in Newry, Ist time in the bar, I was made to feel very welcome, Service was excellent, beer garden beautiful, I would have stayed longer but a bus to catch,.👍

I love Magees...because I used to drink a Bottle of Monk Export here in 1973...46 yrs ago...served hy Nigel....In 1974 ..76..77 I enjoyed newry darts league finals getween ..magees and ..Mckeowns CamloughNow in the Capable Hands of his bro Ciaran....and his wife ...Both understand the business...Well Done...Ready to visit there soon...From all at the yellow Heifer ..Happy Crimbo

This is a great bar. It doesnt look much from the outside, but when you enter, you find a clean well run bar with great staff and a great friendly atmosphere. Brilliant jukebox. There is a lovely outside area at the back where you can smoke. Even if you dont smoke, Its so nice and well kept that I am sure during the warm weather its packed..
