Nice Pizzs and amazing Italian Golden ale

They managed to sneak us in between other bookings for a quick pizza and beer. The pizza and the beer was exelent and I will be back for a "real" visit.

Pizza was ok , limited amount ofmain courses.

We ate at this cosy restaurant 12. September 2022, The food was excellent and the staff even though they were very busy, they made time to fill up your glass with wine, ask how our meal was and took time to make sure we were satisfied. The prices were accessible if you think about the quality of the food. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone and we will definitely return the next time we come to Gothenburg 👍

Good Italian restaurant with excellent pizza and pasta. Do not hesitate to visit. Take a good red vine with your dish and enjoy.

This place is overrated on google.no. An average restaurant at best. We had pizza, way to much doughy crust. And the pasta was very ordinary. As we would say in Norway: "not much to write home about".

Simply amazing food! Some of the best Italian we have had in years ! The pasta with salsiccia was perfectly balanced and hit all the right spots! 10/10 will come back!

Best pasta so far in Gothenburg! First place I have found King Crab legs as well. On the hunt for crab legs, blue crabs and other seafood that is not fish, squid or octopus. The sauces were amazing, one seafood sauce and one tomato sauce, both supper yummy. Worth every penny!

Presentation of food was nice, meat was hard as a rock (was supposed to be cooked in red wine for 24h?! Pizza was overloaded with cheese. foccacia for sharing had 5 pieces of olives. Service was stressed,Not inviting and felt rushed. Waited 50 min to make an order. Seating max 2hrs!

The place is always a hive of activity, and rightfully so. Great atmosphere, great food, and friendly service.Whats not to like?

Some of the best tasting Italian food Ive had in a long time. The quantity of food is simply fantastic - its on the pricey side as well. The table we were sat at was more reminiscent of a little eatery or diner, not the most comfortable and quite often had to be tactically placing our plates to make sure they actually fit on the table.

Nice Italian restaurant with pleasant and helpful staff. I had the Diavola pizza, which was true to its name, and very tasty. Booking a table is probably a good idea here as it was very busy when we were there on a Thursday evening.

What an experience. A true Italian taste in Göteborg. I was very impressed with the service and and food. I was together with my friend and we ordered two tasty pizzas. I started talking Italian afterwards 😜

Fairly popular spot among local and tourist crowd. Our hotel staff had suggested so we made a booking for the waiting list, which was a new thing. You book a slot to wait! Suggest if you do the same, arrive before 6pm, it’s gets busy and on another evening we found the owner was not allowing new seatings.In any case, on a scale of 1 to 10, the food was a solid 8. The pizza was very fresh but the crust was damp such that the toppings slid right off when picked up. The pasta was also fresh, I did the king crab pasta with seafood cream sauce, it was good enough.Service was good, I liked that the waiter told me flat out which wine was “no good” and made suggestions.Feedback for the owner in case he is reading, the lamps above the tables indoors are covered in dust, it’s pretty dirty considering the otherwise nicely appointed interior.Some people make a serious effort to eat here, I would not but it’s probably in the top 10% for the area.

Situated in a street with other cafes and restaurants, this Italian restaurant serves excellent food, beautifully displayed, and staff with the attitude of how Italians restaurants can be, flashy, as in Italy. The wines are excellent, but expensive - were in Sweden after all. We had the three course menu, and it was truly good. See the pictures.

Always knew this place serves the best Italian food and fantastic drinks (great selection of Italian beersin Sweden, probably. Today we were amazed and charmed by their humorous, welcoming and dedicated waiter to 120%.We have visited this restaurant almost monthly over the past years and will most definitely come back with more friends and family in the future.

Fantastic place with food and staff that deserves 16 out of 5 stars. I really have nothing bad to say about them, they impressed me and delivered on every level!The pasta and pizzas are to die for! :)

Felt like out of Sweden for a while :). Recommended when you want to have a nice walk in the local area of Gothenburg, close to the canal and city center and then end up here for a good food. But make sure that there is table available for you if you want to visit during restaurant rush hours, probably by calling.Pizza tasted really good and fresh and almost as the same as my try in Rome. Just consider the crust of the pizza in not that thin.Sitting outside was also a bonus. A point to consider is that sides was pricey compare to portion size.(my final rate point would be 4.5)

We were a group of 5 and thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine. Eventhough, all of us had a pizza craving, I am quite sure the other dishes wont disappoint you. The interior has an old school Italian vibe with a nice photography collection. It might be a good idea to reserve a table before the visit. Enjoy!! :)

I was here on Valentines day with my girlfriend, we ordered a 3 course menu and a bottle of wine. We told the waiter what kind of wine we liked and asked him to recommend one of them, but he showed us all kinds of wine except what we wanted.When we had finished the desert and had about half a glass of wine left they suddenly came with the bill and short after they asked us to move from the table.While they showed us to the bar we saw that there were several free tables for new guests and in the bar we heard them telling new customers that the kitchen were closing.The food tasted good except for the deserts that were unimaginative but for me the overall impression is important and thats why I give a low score.

Real italian pizza in Göteborg! I liked it too much!!!The atmosphere is really nice. The staff is great. Prices are doubled with respect to Italy but come on... This is more than acceptable as we are in Sweden! Very recommended restaurant for having a nice evening with friends

I went there after reading these good reviews but for me it was a big disappointment. First, the service staff did not take our orders for about 15 minutes. We tried calling two of them but they said that they dont take orders, one of their other colleagues does. And finally when "that colleague" did come to take orders, he wanted us to place the food orders first and later the drink orders. And food was ready in 5 minutes and for a pizza it must be a world record . Of course there were burnt bits. Overall, this is one of the places I would avoid, mainly because of the service.

Fantastic italian food. Really good deal for 3 courses. I loved their buschette, burrata bianca pizza, and pistachio tiramisu. It was all amazingly fantastic and would definitely visit again with friends.

Everything about our visit at Magazzino was pleasant. We were 2 families who had spent a long day at Liseberg, and we showed up late without a reservation on a Saturday evening. Inspired by the high ranking on Tripadvisor, and an urge for Italian food, we decided to give it at shot. The restaurant was almost full when we arrived, but the friendly staff did a good job to accomodate our party of 7 people (4 adults and 3 children). We ordered a couple of bottles of wine, and some of us opted for a 3 course package. Ordering was a breeze and again our waiter was very professional, and he managed to get all our wishes right, even though there were some of us that wanted small alterations regarding their meal. The atmosphere was good, the staff friendly and attentive, and the food tasted just as it should. All at a very reasonable price things considered. I would recommend Magazzino, and that you try their panna cotta. Delicious!

Firstly, a big shout out to the lovely waiter who served us. He was attentive, service minded and sincere. Not only do they serve excellent pizza and pasta, they also know how to mix drinks. All in all, a great surprise, and worth a visit!

It is no surprise it has good reviews. Even though a reservation is expected the staff was quick to find us a place. The pasta and the pizza are very close to an italian experience. Very helpful and very friendly service. This place is a must in Gothenburg.

Best pizza in Gothenburg. No question. Not all the topings blow you away and can be heavy/watery, but the flavour is absolutely great and fhe dough and sauce is what Napolitanos that i lived with agreed was thr best pizza in Gothenburg. Service is fantastic (well above Swedish standardsand prices are really good for Gothenburg.

The place is very pretty, the staff was friendly, the food tasted good and we had a good time
