Great experience. Very nice entrance. Entertaining film at the beginning of the visit. Many spots to test chocolate during the visit. A lot of interaction points make the experience very funny for adults and kids. Great gamma of liquid chocolate tastes to try. Self made chocolate bar at the end is another amazing experience. Sure to come back here again in the future.

The only thing that get doubled when shared is happiness. This quote was quoted after visiting the factory. It is very organized and enjoyable experience to learn regarding the chocolate and tasting it. Do not forget to make your own chocolate bar at the end of the visit.

Its an underrated visit. Our kids found it brilliant. They not only got to understand chocolate making process, but also got to decorate their own bar and tried different varieties. And then we had a picnic just outside. Not to forget the amazing staff.

Easy parking, did the tour and all had a great time and learnt a lot. Free samples did not disappoint, saw the real factory which was super interesting. Thoroughly enjoyed it. If I had to criticise Id say the Cafe environment could be improved.

What a wonderful place to learn about the making of Swiss Chocolate. The touring area is a Willy Wonka style, childrens paradise with many interactive activities. The "big kids" will enjoy too. Chocolate tasting opportunities are available with excellent results. There is a workshop to make your own chocolate bar at the end. I am not sure of the cost because we had a private tour with a cruise group that included the activity in a separate room. Really a fun activity. We did not use the phone app available for an audio tour because we had a guide with us but heard it worked pretty well and is available in English. There are hand sanitizing stations everywhere and readily available before tasting opportunities. Most people are not wearing a mask so if you feel more comfortable with one would recommend an N95 for optimal protection.

While for all of the EU countries yellow, paper certificate, is OK, it happens that we travel from Osnabrück about 1000 km to see Chokolarium, just to hear: "Yes, you are 3 times vaccinated, but it doesnt work here by us."It was a huge surprise, because in Kreuzlingen, nearby, our paper certificate was accepted without any problem.

A good place to visit with kids.I was a bit sceptical after Lindt chocolate museum (what else can they show here?), but the place is totally worth it. Kids would especially love create-your-own-chocolate room.

I liked the way they let us see the chocolate factory. People working down and see how the chocolate wrapped up.First you will see a little movie then you can see how chocolate come to Switzerland. You also can taste 3 different chocolate. Them you can do your own decorated chocolate, you need to purchase first. The downside was for me...a tons of kids...but a lots of them and I felt the rooms were too small in this case....at the decoration room...oh my gosh.. it felt like q packed playground. Maybe because it was already vacation time from school...I dont know. It was middle of the week in the afternoon. You can also try samples during the "tour ".You can buy in the end a lot chocolate.

5 stars all the way. A chocolate factory and museumYou pay to enter. There where you get to watch a 3min video in Swiss with English subtitle about the journey of chocolate. Then you tour the factory through glass walls and you can eat as many chocolates as you want and get a chance to build and decorate your own chocolate. At the exit, you can buy some home. Its worth the trip.

We booked the tour a day before online and could enter at our assigned time slot. The very interesting and informative tour started off with a short film about chocolate and happiness and thereafter you can move from room to room on your own where every ingredient is explained in a creative way before you can have a look at the factory itself. Of course there is a goodie for tasting every now and then. There is also the possibility to download an app for your phone where you can get additional audio recordings (there are QR codes in every room). And finally, you pass the shop where its almost impossible to resist the temptation to buy something ;)This tour is really worth it, you learn a lot in an cool way and taste their delicious products.

Much better than many other chocolate factories around.Fun tour in the factory with a lot of history explained and free samples to taste. The tour can be done by yourself without a guide. The decorations, music and details in the tour path were impressive: it almost felt like being at a Disneyland attraction :)I was pleasantly surprised that it was also english friendly: all the staff could speak English and the entire tour has always explanations in both German and English. Highly recommended if you are planning to visit a chocolate factory

Very busy today, luckily the woman with screaming/crying children left the ticket line after 5 minutes. The museum was more of a kids experience, but all the tasting of chocolates was nice. You could see the actual factory from above, but nobody was operating the machines. But I liked it, even learned a few things.

What to do with kids or visiting relatives (Swiss or ex-paton a rainy day?I recommend this museum. It is less than a hour drive from Zürich. They have plenty of parking, modern WCs, storage lockers, and a mini-snack bar. To me, it has a freshly renovated Willy Wonka-stlye tour/museum. There are plenty of free samples and a shop that sells chocolate. German or English is used with easy here.

We loved the place! An interactive exibition on the entire process of chocolage making. Great interest for both children and adults. You learn a lot, get entertained and can taste so much chocolate as you want! Be aware production facilities are closed on weekend and public holidays, although ticket price of an entrance remains the same. Parking is free of charge.

A fun place for the kids if you’re looking for a chocolate factory visit without having to book in advance. Worth the trip over on the train plus bus. Bus stop was a bit confusing though. Make sure you ask around; don’t rely solely on google maps for directions on how to get on/off the bus.

Fantastic! A must visit if you like chocolate. The tour details quite well the way the different ingredients take before they get turnes into chocolate. Its presented in a very entertaining way to that people of all ages are easily able to understand the tour.I was there on a Saturday so I could not see the factory running but the videos and graphics still explained everything quite well.Highlight of the tour is the self-made chocolate. Absolutely worth every cent. Would reconsider going back just for that (although paying the entrance fee on top might be too expensive for just one very good bar of chocolate).

Wonderful place with a set of great people. As their slogan goes, the place is all about happiness. The people out there are happy and they know how to make sure that you actually leave the place feeling quite happy. Great chocolates and we do get lot of free samples and the price at the factory stores is relatively low. You have a great view of the Swiss country side with cows grazing happily and lot of friendly people around. You would not learn much about chocolate making processes with the visit but it definitely is a great and memorable experience.
