Madhu's in Mali

First the positives, the ambience is nice, but thats where it ends unfortunately. We spent my dads 70th Birthday there and unfortunately the whole event was a disaster. We were served under cooked rice and some really bad Mogo that made our stomach sick. We had to ask for things 3 times before we got them. Certain foods were only delivered to one table only and not other. Most of the food was tasteless. We were given our cake in a single plate without any spoons or plate, so we were using our hands to eat some cake, imagine doing this at a famous restaurant. The whole thing was a disaster, would not visit anytime soon. Thanks for making my dads birthday remembered for the wrong reasons.

Amazing fine dining North India restaurant. I enjoyed the Dal makhni and kadai paneer a lot. Must visit if you are in South hall.

Walked in on a busy day for dinner. Service was great. We were seated promptly. Has to ask for the menu. Order taken within 5 mins. Great tasting food came out on the table within 20mins.One downside is that they use thigh piece chicken for all the chicken dishes. To the chef, some customers prefer breast piece by the way. Itll be good to have that as an option.

I will never return to Madhu’s in Southall again, since when did Madhu’s start serving Halal food? They should tell people. That’s not the Madhus I went to 20 years ago. The food was a big disappointment, the lamb curry Rogan Gosh was a tough cheap meat and the sauce tasteless. Naan came out 20 minutes after the food which was cold by that time. Never again going back here it’s reputation is finished and is just a franchise restaurant living off the Madhu’s name from the past.

I have been Madhus many times but this time it was after a really long time. The food was not good 😐 Staff was efficient.

It was a pleasant experience. The portions are very less its 1 person portion cant share unless you are light eater. The service was quick and professional.

The experience of eating at Madhus was excellent. Service from Rigved was amazing and the food was so yummy.

Wonderful vibe, delicious food, amazing staff. I had their special dish suggested by the staff Nyamah Choma..never had dish like that, full of spices , succulent and loved every bit of it. Manager made me a berry mojito,that was also so refreshing ..overall loved every bit of it , hygienic and neat clean place… definitely coming back with my friends soon

We lived in Hounslow for ten years and throughout that time and since we have tried many wonderful curry restaurants but none have ever come up to the flavour and quality of Madhu’s. We live in Staines now but still order regularly (despite the hassle with delivery!and visit the restaurant at least once a year. My partner gets a little anxious if he doesn’t have some Madhu’s in the freezer! Dining in the restaurant is a wonderful experience. Staff are friendly and diligent, food is beautifully presented. We always order too much because it’s so hard to choose! Ordering for takeaway is easy and staff are helpful and kind with good communication. Madhu’s is renowned throughout the area for good reason. The original and the best. Enjoy!

Recently visited this neighbourhood outlet, me and my friend came from India on student visa and were craving to satisfy our taste buds, we had Kadhai paneer ,dal makhani and couple of naans. The food was par excellence and service was next level amazing. They were taking Feedback and making us feel comfortable. The manager was going through all tables nearby us and we were made very very comfortable. This place has definitely made our stay in London easy ..looking forward to come again and again.

The food was great but the decor was absolutely appalling and the place was dirty. Also the stairs were filthy.

Ordered via Uber Eats. Order kept saying restaurant is prepping the food. Called restaurant and they were scrambling to find the order. Then then said its been dispatched. Waited for an hour, ubers status said "kitchen is preparing", 4 drivers were allocated to pick up the order but none could as Madhus never gave them order. They later "cancel" the order via Uber Eats. They seemed to be having a busy evening which is OK but blatantly lying about sending the order and making us and the kiss wait for 2 hours is rubbish service.

Fantastic quality good Punjabi/north Indian food. Well presented in a lovely dining area with friendly and courteous staff. A fairly fine dining experience and the food was authentic and flavourful. Every detail is carefully checked and taken care of. Portions are reasonable for the price, (price is higher than an average "curry house" but the quality reflects thatand we fed a family of 5 for around £100 with starters, mains and puddings.Will definitely return.

Had gone for dinner on a weekend. Despite being very busy, the food was fresh and service was fast.Food - 5*Service - 5*Asthetics - 4.5*Price - 4*Highlights of our ordersPaneer Kadai - nice spicy gravy and soft paneer. Absolutely loved it.Roti - very soft and perfectly roasted in tandoorFresh lime soda - perfect mixture of sweetness and sourness. Soda was bubbly and fresh.Veg kadhi - perfectly blended spices in the warm kadhi, definitely was the speciality dish.Chaas - fresh and refreshing.Service was amazing and fast. Staff was elegant, warm and courteous. Great job by Mr. Rigved and his team.Overall a great experience and would strongly recommend.

Dreadful experience which was a pity as expected great things. Waiter taking our order was nice enough but waiting 45 minutes for drinks is ridiculous. Obviously badly understaffed and this was Saturday at 730PM. Very limited menu which is fine if food is quality, unfortunately it was not. Chicken curry was swimming in sauce and small portions. Grill platter starter had 1 prawn a few chips and 2 small kebabs none of which tasted grilled.

Attended Madhu’s for a 30 year school mates reunion. I came back to England from Australia.Madhu’s reminded me why British Indian food is the best! Delicious samosas and paneer in particular.And also I’d like to commend the impeccable friendly and attentive service: Staff ensured our drinks were topped up and our food came out at a measured and well-organised pace.Well done to Mr Rigved and the team: I will make a point of coming back to sample the delicious food at Madhu’s whenever I return to the UK.

I was looking for some Indian food catering options on short notice, so I approached Madhus, Southall branch to see if they could offer the catering the following day in the afternoon.The manager was very attentive and friendly, discussed multiple food choices with me and agreed to arrange the catering for the following day which was Sunday.Next day, the food came on time and must say that it was super fresh and delicious. Everyone enjoyed the starters plus the main course to the fullest.

Excellent service every time by Madhus staff especially the new manager Rigved . They Make the dining experience enjoyable and memorable they cannot do enough very professional and Courteous an asset for Madhus . Would highly recommend madhus south road authentic Indian food reasonably priced just like home cooked. Really impressed with the two floors for dining comfy spacious. would definitely be dining again soon

We were really pleased with the food quality, service and authentic taste of each dish. The starters and main course was really nice and the Birthday cake was special. Cobra beer added to the taste especially the double fermented one. Overall highly recommended and price is reasonable. Will visit again.

Had an amazing dinner last night ......what can I say except this meal was of the usual high standard expected from the madhus group.Service was faultless and food the same.Would recommend everything we had but special mention to the lamb chops and prawnsSee you again very soon Madhus

It was our first time at Madhu’s Southall and we loved the food and ambiance of the place. Would surely drop by again.Big thumbs up to Chef Bhanot and Manager Rigved for their hospitality 👍🏻

Food made by people who has no knowledge and respect about food, ordered Boozi Bafu(lamb dishand masaledar kuku (chicken dish), lamb dish I couldnt even smell, tasted like a lamb in a gutter, chicken dish was not as bad as lamb but still below average only taste of turmeric like its for a person in hospital. Definitely not even worth half the price they charge.

The new manager, Rigved has done a fabulous job with the service, quality and most of all the food !We felt so close to home thanks to their friendly and warm staff and hospitality.

Went to a wedding reception yesterday and had the worst food ever. The food was tasteless and bland.If you are looking for a catering company for your special day the go elsewhere and stay clear of madhus!

We visited Madhus for my brother’s 1st wedding anniversary yesterday. Presentation of starters was very nice and were delicious but main course was a complete disappointment. Naan breads served were not fresh and felt like they were packet naan just warmed on Tawa and served considering you are paying £3 per naan so I was disgusted. Butter Chicken just tasted like chicken in tomato sauce with no flavour and other dishes like tadka Dal , Prawn Tadka , saag paneer , Dal Makhani didn’t taste fresh at all . After having delicious starters our thoughts were Madhus does live up to the expectations . Unfortunately main course completely changed my opinion and spoiled evening for us and our guests. Unless Madhus pull thier socks up and work on their food quality I really wouldn’t recommend them . Absolute waste of time and money .

Just so good. Been going to Madhu’s for years every time I’m in London. Excellent food & service. Truly just so good that I always come out from Central London just for dinner at Madhu’s.

Poor service table was booked but they want us to seat else where, drinks 2 requests not available no Bloody Mary no Pernod and black!! Starter was good but what happened to the traditional skillet sizzling serving? Main course was poor all dishes no flavour bland no spice 😣 I know Sanjay from when I was 22 and my 60th birthday I thought this would be a good experience but it sincerely Disappointing

Awesome food and awesome service. One of the very few indian restaurants serving roomali roti. Loved the hara bhara kabab. Had a gooey cheese filled centre. Yumm. Indian food at its best in London. Well done Madhus. Keep it up.

It was GREAT!!! The food overall was fantastic, the taste & flavours of the food were a 10/10 and the service was spot on. Nevertheless I wish there were bigger portions as you are paying a lot for a small amount.

The food is not to the standard we expected. Service has been an absolute shambles. The management only seem interested in entertaining a party on the first floor. All guests on the ground floor have been left unattended. I also witnessed 2 groups who arrived and were seated. 25 minutes later left as no one had taken any orders!! Very poor management

Not what it used to be, only focus is on takeaways and deliveries, food looks and tastes stale, bulk cooked and super oily. Service is slow and inefficient. Again focus on deliveries. There are much cheaper options across the road and much better service. Sad to see another Indian restaurant hit the dirt...

Lets start off by saying they cater for weddings. If that doesnt say enough then the food is great and the staff are brilliant. We have been going here for at least around 15 years. They have a small private function room that caters for around 30 people and the prices are reasonable.

Amazing staff and quality foodWe had an opportunity to visit Mahdu’s in Southall and they executed the service and food with precision.Franco, our waiter was extremely patient and knowledgeable about the family recipe and their history. He was a keystone to our experience.The food was by far the best in Southall especially for folks who are looking for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine with an African (Nairobi).Mogo, kebabs, keema, & methi chicken were the dishes we ordered and all were great.Plates were hot to ensure your food was kept warm.This is my new spot to visit when I fly in/out of London for business.

I invited a few family friends to eat in Southall. And while walking on the streets we came across this gem on the main road. It was scored 5 as well on scores on the doors, so we had to give it a go. The atmosphere was amazing and interior was beautiful. Originates from Kenya but the flavour of just outclass. It was mind blowing. The staff was friendly and they had a smile on their faces regardless. Recommended good dishes to try and very honest opinions were provided. We all enjoyed it a lot and the damage was reasonable as well.

Amazing food and excellent customer service from the staff. Parking can be a bit troublesome but there is a car park for Iceland near by and side street parking which is free after 6pm. If you want to try some excellent Indian food, go check it out!

My first time at Madhus.. although I had enjoyed some of the catering before. I loved the service and the food was delicious. The cassava perfect and Dahl a delight. I loved it and will be going back! 7 or 8 pounds for a vegetarian main course is a great price.

My colleagues truly enjoyed diner here . The food is tasty but too spicy for my taste . But for my colleagues they loved it. The manager was incredibly friendly giving us a real insight about the dishes and the history of Mahdu. Recommended

Amazing Indian food in the center of Greenford. An oasis in the middle of a chaotic area. Top service and 5 star food. Bey kept secret on if the best Indian restaurants in London

Good place for authentic Indian-Punjabi meals. Alcohol is served. the place does get busy on Friday and Saturday dinner times better book table in advance or be prepared to wait. they also have an excellent options in desserts. Service is excellent and friendly. on the downside the place is expensive compared to other local restaurants. We Paid £96 for 5 adults and a child three course

I was disappointed with the food and service. I had high expectations at Madhus because if you feature in one of the most luxury department stores in the world you should up hold the quality and service in the restaurants.I guess Ill just have to eat at Harrods from now on.

This place is great for special occasions, good up to date decor, food is delicious, the vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes are as good as each other. Good all round Indian with a distinctive difference.
