LOVED my spaghetti alla vongole!!! Good sized dish. Not a character restaurant but easy to converse with friends, a warmgreeting and good service. All 5 of us enjoyed our 5 varied dishes. Definitely will return!

Good food, nice setting

Convenient as they are open almost all day on the weekend. Had their soup of the day (tomato soupwhich was excellent but the main dish (tagliatelle with salmon, leek and lemon saucewas a miss. Maybe stick to the classic dishes.

Outstanding!! Simply the best pizza and pasta I have ever had!! The staff are extremely accommodating and helpful! Very clean as well.

We had dinner in this place and the food was delicious👍🏻 we enjoyed the dishes we ordered: truffle ravioli, the ravioli with cream, la arrabita, and the margarita pizza. The service was excellent!

Great food, warm hospitality

Quality food at a reasonable price - a rare combination in Switzerland! Food in Switzerland is indeed expensive, comparable to NYC or SF bay area in the US. We went as a family of 4 for dinner. Service was great. Owner was very friendly. Both pasta and pizza were delicious with quality ingredients used and didnt take long to prepare, despite the restaurant being quite busy. The best is their tiramisu! I ordered another one after inhaling the first one.

Great service and fantastic food. Quality ingredients. I ordered the linguine with cream, mushroom and shrimps -- it was honestly one of the best pasta dishes Ive had so far. My mum ordered the aglio olio and she thought it was tasty.

Affordable for Switzerland and food was pretty good :Portions were generous too! Staff was friendly, and overall very cozy place. I’m a budget conscious backpacker and I had my best meal in Switzerland here to be honest.

For the Swiss, a pretty affordable place without compromising on deliciousness or ambiance. For around 20 euro’s you have a nice lasagna, pasta or pizza. The place is pretty trendy, with very spacious seating options and a terrace for in the summer. The staff is also friendly. All-in-all a good experience without having to break the bank.

Great little Italian spot with cozy ambiance! We looked for a place to eat dinner on a Sunday evening (a lot of restaurants are closed on Sundayand this was a perfect choice! It’s small, cozy, comfortable, the service was wonderful and food was delicious. It’s affordable with various food options for everyone. My husband got the ravioli with truffle cream sauce and said it was delicious (but very very rich.I got the pizza italia (fresh mozzarella, fresh tomato and Basiland it was a very large pizza. It was also very good!They also have outside seating if weather permits.We would highly recommend to anyone looking for fresh Italian food in Lucerne!

We had pizza, and it actually reminded us of Italy. Although you need to walk away from the picturesque part of Lucern a bit, you would definitely pay a fairer price for what you get.

Visited here on our vacation to Switzerland. It was a great find. Husband had the bolognese pasta and I had the pizza. Both were excellent and a reasonable cost for Lucerne.

Very good Italian food. Relaxed atmosphere. Prices are Swiss, but there are many places where its more expensive.

Authentic and delicious Italian food. You can try any of their pastas, special shout out to Pasta arabiatta and olio aglio. The prices are reasonable and portions generous. Will love to come again. The owner and the staff are very kind. They accommodated all our requests.

Very neat and nice people, (verygood food (lasagneand nice big beers. Would 100% recommend for anyone that doesnt want to pay the head price, but still wants to eat good pasta.

Slightly off the town area but definitely worth the walk! Best Italian food in Lucerne. Exceptional service. Affordable compared to other restaurants in the city. A definite must go but make sure you book a table.

So good, we stayed in Luzern 2 night, and have pizza both nights. Very good good and reasonable price. Will come back.

Very nice! My group and I (mostly Italiansonly tried the pizzas, they were very good, large, and cheap for the usual prices of Luzern. A must go!

My partner and I stumbled across Made in Sud one night and didn’t have a reservation, as we didn’t realise it was so busy and popular. They were prompt in finding us a table and it was THE best night. We had amazing wine, amazing pizza, amazing service and great company (their mascot Schorsch the dogplus it was at a great price. We booked for the next night and had yet again another great night. Pizza was on point, they remembered us and was once again 10/10. Do yourself a favour and book a table for dinner and enjoy!

Always a great pizza with a good price

Got us one of the best pizzas Ive ever had in less than 9 mins! It wasnt busy so take that into account but it was amazing. We had the pizza italia with buffalo mozzarella, absolutely mind blowing!

This place was beyond amazing. With so many options around it can be easy to miss it but you have to come here. Food was delicious, service phenomenal and price was so reasonable if not cheap. Mushroom pizza and eggplant parmigiana were tops.

Reasonably priced but delicious food, very nice staff and great atmosphere. We had lunch here after sightseeing in the old town area. Id definitely recommend this place 👍

Amazing, affordable food in an expensive city. Better than most Italian food I had in Italy. Very authentic, large portion sizes, and great wine. Whats not to love!

It was a perfect experience. The food is fantastic. We had the octopus, parmegiana, pasta, pizza and all the dishes were perfect. The wine was really good. Visited with my four kids. We loved the service and the food. Honest price. I would recommend it to anybody. Some small esthetic improvement would help actract more people in. Dont be discourage by the "Take away" sign, great to dine in.Update July 2017.Visited again with my family. Even beter then before!!They did improve the esthetics (new lamps...).Same good quality and create prices.Will go there again, and again...Update October 2018They just reopen it after 40 days refurbishing.The food is great and service is enjoyable as always.The place looks much, much better. There is twice as many tables and with the addition of a room in the back, you have plenty of space.The arancini are great and the panzerrotti are to die for.My preferred main is Pasticcio della nonna. Pizza are great too

Great Pizza, friendly and helpful staff. We have a family member that has egg allergy and they were able to take it out of the the food ordered. They were also very helpful on the phone, taking reservations for our family of 5, in English. Highly recommend this place.

Picked by my wife we walked past and found this little restaurant was packed. The wait staff were very friendly and helped us book for another night.All 4 of our meals were exceptional and took very little time to come.The service was great too from all of the staff working there who spoke several languages.Lastly the pricing was rather refreshing after having several other meals around Luzern.We would highly recommend coming here. Just be sure to book in advance if you can.

Friendly personal, went with 11 people, reserved rather short before and occupied about half the seating space. Rest was reserved as well, had to turn away customers due to full house.good food
