Museum chain for life-size wax replicas of famous Americans & historic icons in themed galleries.
Great experience. Been twice now and Id still recommend for everyone to try. They change a lot of models around from time to time to keep the experience fresh and "new". Enjoyable for everyone, all the family, young - old, able - differently able (accomodation for everyone), regardless if youve been before. Staff are nice enough. The all had a smile and were happy to help when interacted with. Some came over to guide us when we had issues.
Great fun , just be aware its very English and northern centric so if you arent familiar with uk TV and culture you might be a bit lost , but much better than I thought it would be .
First time visiting was a canny day out was bit if fun and something to do I would recommend a visit
Great place to visit. Lots of good celebs to see and staff really and helpful. Thanks to Francis for looking after us so well.
Never been to this one before and it was quite good. Lots to see. We all enjoyed it.
Amazing experience. There it loads ti keep you busy. You can look at the figures which really look like the people there meant to be on each station they havent all activities that you can do you can go from having a drink in the Rovers to fighting in the with the Avengers its an amazing experience
This place is ok for people to come and visit. Some of the themes should be mixed up a bit though as some of the younger generations will have no idea who the British heroes like Tommy Cooper and Benny Hill are
VERY disabled friendly. Had a great time and my wife really enjoyed it. Exhibitions are great for kids and adults alike. Cant wait to come back.
Great time to spend an hour or two but some of the waxwork of people were nothing like who it meant to be. Got toilet and a bar (rovers returnand if not busy, you can pay at the door. Took lots of photos but just uploaded a few.
Used our tesco vouchers so didnt cost anything however I would have paid. Great place for the kids and bit of fun for the adults aswell can spend good couple of hours if you take your time would go back 😀
If you are visiting blackpool I would recommend going online and getting a value ticket for 3 attractions. We chose sealife, Madame Tussauds and blackpool dungeon. None disappointed. We spent around 1 hour at all 3. They have something for everyone at madame Tussauds, I loved RuPaul, mom loved the coronation street section and you can sit inside and order a drink from the bar! They had a brilliant marvel attraction and royal family! Very worth seeing.
Great as always not sure if there in the middle of moving things around its abit higuldy piguldly but still worth a visit
Very good way to spend a couple of hours. Would be nice if there was more to see and do, but what is there is top quality. Me and my son had a brilliant time and such a laugh with all the wax works. He even got to the top of the climbing wall. All the staff were super pleasant, we really really enjoyed it
Madame Tussaud’s is a good entertaining activity lasting around 40 minutes. You could easily spend more or less time here. The models are good although I feel other Tussauds venues have a slight edge. I feel Blackpool allow too many guests per time (or don’t stagger admissions enough). This leads to large groups of people clumping around certain areas sporadically. It is a little annoying if you want to look/do photos in an area and there’s chaos e.g. young children running around, older guests touching models. Maybe they aught to have more ‘do not touch’ symbols around. Although we booked tickets, most people just paid on entry on the day. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for something to do if visiting.
The best thing there at the moment is the marvel wax figures me and my family are marvel fans and the kids loved it
I didnt think it was as good as I was expecting! It felt grubby and some of the sets were not really plausible. Claudia Winkleman looked like she was high on crack. And the I am a celebrity set was dated and looked well past its sell by date. The Coronation Street set was the best part.Very disappointed.
Better than I was suspecting. I visited a waxworks years ago when exhibits were behind barriers and could not be touched but this exhibition was interactive and you could not only touch the exhibits but take photos of them and with them. Well worth a visit.
Changed from last time we went so saw different models was good
Love waxworks museum its great now you can get closer to the stars
Had a lovely afternoon. Didnt have to wait to enter but this was a Wednesday afternoon so not sure if this would be the same at weekends. Lots of famous faces and our grandchildren loved having their photo taken with them, too many names to mention. The photos my daughter and son in law took said they would put them in the grandchildrens memory boxes so in years to come can look back with their grandchildren which I thought was a fantastic idea so yes I recommend a visit, dont think youll be disappointed.
Very poor.was stood in queue for over an hour and got to the entrance to be told card only payments not one sign anywhere that states this. other people has well as myself had to leave.luckily I was staying nearby to go and get my bank card and returned.once I paid nearly £40 for me and hubby to enter I was very disappointed not much waxworks to view very outdated and in poor state more floors had game rooms then waxworks utterly waste of money never will go again even though its been over 4 years since last visit nothing has changed.prices far to high for whats there .
Lots of fun for a first time. Some are really good. The rovers is great and staff do work really hard. The photo systems feels a little be of a con and with kids you are sort of forced to buy. Hint, buy one and I think you get all the photos online anyway. Certainly ask.
This is a good attraction the kids loved it and was bought as a 2 attraction package along with Blackpool tower. Good value for money kids enjoyed marvel zone and Dan tdm. Can get through it very quickly so take your time also the loos are halfway through the attraction make sure you go before you arrive. In short a good few hours spent
First time coming here after many years visiting Blackpool. Lots too see. The even had small portable power packs you can use which are £1 for 30 minutes. Really helpful for when your taking lots of pictures and better is running low
Models are great shame there arent more of them. Spent a few hours wondering round taking lots of photos. Cant believe how tiny Arianna Grande is. The marvel area was great, again wish there were more statues but thor is AMAZING
Nice place to have a little fun, take some photos and drink a beer.
We visited today (Sunday afternoonand it wasnt to busy at all. We came years ago and it was a nice surprise that you could now have a drink in the rovers return! Nice added touch from the last time we visited! We had a lovely conversation about F1 and wax works with Frances, who was so attentive and interacted with our 3 year old who warmed to him instantly! Definitely a credit to Madame Tussauds! Our personal favorites were the marvel interactive and photos ops, and also getting to sissy that walk was the highlight of my day! Overall an amazing visit and would recommend it to all 😊
Madame Tussauds was excellent, my grandson loved seeing the Hulk Spiderman and all the other superheroes..
Its ok to visit if the weather is bad it passes the time but not to much as u can do it in just over an hour longer if its busy. I think its expensive for a family of 4 fir what u get but if u are thinking of going find a voucher. We booked on Internet as it was supposed to be cheaper but when u get to the end to pay its the same price.
A very good venue really enjoyed it nit busy so had plenty of time for photographs.
Brilliant . Enjoyable . Well worth the admission fee . Lots to see . Customer great too .
Fabulous selection of models. Wifei would be ideal to help with online ticket purchasing, used tesco vouchers, saved pounds, highly recommend, but download tickets first!
Staff lovely and helpful, easy access with the pram and can take it round the entire place so you dont miss out on anything. Good photo opportunities too. Doesnt take long to get around so bear that inind when planning your day. Took us about 1.5 hours to casually walk around. Would defo recommend as part of your day out but would book in advance as I can imagine it becomes very busy.
Amazing experience, just expected more celebrities & footballers, but overall very good, kids were happy and had a great time.
Its been very nice to be able to take pictures with celebrities but its nice to visit only once if theyre not coming with something new
Lots of fun waxworks. Lots of interactions activities. The waxworks are mostly British personalities. You move around on your own pace and can take pictures
We had a lot of fun here seeing all of the waxworks. We spent about an hour there. There is a little mirror maze there too.
Great day out had by the whole family. Booked tickets in advance for 10am when it opened and spent a good 2 hours walking round and sitting in the Rovers for a wee cheeky drink
Awesome place. Definitely book online to save a few quid. Should have walked around here a bit slower as we managed to do it all in an hour and a half. Plenty of photo opportunities, although found that some of the photos we took didnt save to our card given. Really nice here though and staff were friendly. We went on a Monday for opening time and it was pretty quiet too, so much easier to get photos. Marvel section was BRILLIANT!
We have been visiting next door experience of Peter Rabbit. Great 45 minutes spent with kids. Real treat is a the end.
Visited this afternoon with my other half and what a fantastic place to visit for an hour or 2, great Waxworks and lots of photo ops taken.Im a massive Dr who Fan so when I saw Jodi Whitaker and the Tardis I had to take a selfie with her and it may not be the real Jodi but it is a close second.Thank you so much for a wonderful experience Madame TussaudsNathan
Brilliant place to visit. It was amazing and staff make you feel welcome. Catering for wheelchair users so they get just as good experience as an able bodied person gets a massive thumbs up and the photo packages are so good value. The best part for me was having a drink in the rovers return and flying into the sky with iron man. There are many more but Ill leave you to experience them when you go because its so worth it.
So much to see and do here. Have to say. Well worth the visit. Pre book a must. Allow lots of time. Thought this was way better than the one in London. So glad we choose to go.
OK this was what Id describe as a multi faceted attraction. Some of the models are bang on whilst others, like Russel Brand look nothing like him didnt even look to be that same ethnicity! It felt all a bit disjointed along the way and you felt rushed through. The kids loved the splat climbing wall even though the person running it absolutely stank of stale body odour. There are lots of good photo opportunities however the lighting in there is bloody awful. Lots of photos had a red tinged finish. The rovers return would make for better photos had you not put a set of seats behind bet lynch meaning everyone has several random strangers in their photos. The staff are either super helpful or complete waste of space. When I comes to checking the photos taken at certain areas for you to purchase at the end is where you lost 2 stars. The staff manning this photo selling area on the exit rush you to buy buy buy and rush you to choose and generally buy a package you wouldnt. From personal experience of mental health this is where you need fully trained staff that take this I to account. I was made to feel to hurry, pick anything and pay quickly having spent 20 minutes queuing already and knowing other were waiting behind you.The pictures come in a bag and after leaving we looked at this god awful poorly printed items. They looked nothing like what was on the screen and are so dark, one of them you couldnt even see who was on them. So if you are planning of getting photos take them yourself.
what to Madame Tussaauds on Saturday afternoon with family we had a great time meeting the lifelike celebrities they look so real amazing work must go into putting the collections together. The strictly come dancing area was really good you are able to pick up the wooden paddles and made it look like your giving out your score after watching a performance. Also good was the take me out where you can put in your Name in the box so it shows up at the front so you can have a friend take your photo like your one of the contestants . Towards the end it takes you to Coronation Street and this is fantastic as you can have a drink in the Rovers Return as its a real bar with some of the lifelike Actors dotted around the pub prices at the bar are good not over priced. Where else can you go and be able to stand next to Ken Barlow of sit next to DeirdreWould like to see more ethnic soap actors represented
Wow, this is truly a spectacular attraction... the sculptures are more real than you can imagine and the variety will ensure that everyone in the family gets to have their dream meeting! Several interactive activities add to the enjoyment of this unique experience!
Great place with plenty for everyone to enjoy. Staff were helpful and even lead us around if we lost our way..only downside as a wheelchair user you do have to go back on yourself to exit certain rooms but still a very enjoyable day!!! Definitely worth the visit!
First ever visit to a Madame Tussauds. They have created some really good celebrity scenes and some good photo capturing moments. There are some interactive areas for everyone to get involved in.
Very impressed. Few I wasnt happy with but overall spot on. Really enjoyed it. A lot more famous people than I imagined. Was lucky that it was quite too. A good few hours spent. Highly recommend it. Bargain for £20.
An excellent place! Tip: get there early to spend the day as theres more then you think.Staff were EXCELLENT. my friend was in a wheelchair and they accommodated everything. The guy who helped with the lift even made sure we didnt miss anything as the lift access is a bit of a different route, and he kept Us well informed about everything on each floor. We never had to wait long when we needed lift either. We are Defo going again.
