Mad Mick in Katowice

Arrived in Katowice after traveling for a while. Really wanted a hamburger and found Mad Mick with really good reviews and it was close to my hotel. Very happy I found this place! Service was fast and friendly (even spoke very good Englishand the burger was excellent! Will need to visit here again before I leave.

I love this place so much that I eat here at least once a week! Really tasty burgers, variety of them and possibility to customize, professional service, variety of beers to choose as an addition and, what is most important for me, nutrients table is available here!

Staff seemed overworked, which created long waiting times. Burgers were pretty much solid, not much of a selection though.

Great food, not as expensive as other places. Lots of different fancy burgers, great sauces. They have Czech draft and bottled beer.

My favorite place for a fairly priced protein overdose. Dine in or takeout, you wont be disappointed. Order is completely customizable a truly underrated option across many restaurants in Katowice

A wonderful establishment with brilliant hosts and even more brilliant food, the vibe check was passed immensely, the gaff to be if you’re in katowice and mad like mick!!!!! Wish I could give it 6 stars, only gripe is it should be open 24/7!!! wish i could be here constantly!!! wish everyone the best who works and visits there :)))

Cozy place to sit and done. Friendly staff, helping in a smiling way. Nice sitting arrangements. They offer a wider variety of burgers which are truly tasty with added range of sauces. I love this place.

Super Burger, even Medium Rare Meat was perfectly temperatured and tasted delicious. Fair price and 8 different sauces for Burger and Fries or Wedges are free and very tasty. And on Top a very good Mojito XXL for a good price

Lots of Cartilages, Veins & Silver Skin that chews disgustingly in their meat, I give 3 stars because everything else was average. I was told this was the best in Katowice & they are no where near the top 3 best actually.

Its probably the first real burger place in Katowice. Since time of small restaurant location at Sienkiewicza street it remains its quality and vide choice of burgers. They have good Czech beers. If you have a taste for a real burger you know where to go :cześć 🍔

Burgers were OK but not special at all. Fries were good and we got 6 sauces for the fries. Atmosphere was not enticing me to stay any longer or to order any more drinks. English menu card was outdated and prices had gone up. Staff was friendly and fast.

Very Hard-shelled bun for Hamburgers was not easy to eat.It isnt close to american style burger so keep it in mind. You might get dissapointed. Also, well-done meat came out more burned than it should be.

Against this restaurant I have no single complaint. They serve delicious food quickly and the price is very friedly.

Tasted good, I went for one of the weirder options, but honestly the texture of the meat was just not very nice. And barely any fries with it. Would like to go again and try a simpler burger, which might be better

Great burgers. What I liked the most is that they dont pour any sauce on your burger. Instead they bring you 8 sauces to the table that you can choose from.

Decent food with the various choice of sauces. Even though there were a lot of people, you may not wait long for your order. Kind staff can speak English. They also serve alcohol

Really good hamburger! I enjoyed meals. One of the good points as a foreigner was that i can order the meal in English. Additionally, i can choose the sauce as much as i can and burger quality was good. I would like to visit again.

Burger was okay but sweet potatoes I ordered as a side dish were not cooked properly. May visit them again but to be honest there are better places to eat burger in the area.

good burgers. cheap. and good selection of beer. the vegan burger was good according to my friend but he was hungry after 1 hour. probably wasnt enough protein (chickpeas beans etcin the burger.My beef burger was tender juicy and delicious. was abit dry.We had cider which was quite strong. but they have a good selection of beers and craft beers too.a good selection of cocktails too.music and ambiance was wonderful. good place to bring a date or to chill and listen to some jazz and blues that play here

One of the burger joints I visit every now and then - definitely the favourite one!You can always call them in advance and have them prepare burgers so they are there, waiting for you when you finally arrive!

We travled to Katowice in for the Intel Extreme Masters by Electronic Sports League. Myself working for the last brand. Polish local authorities told us "try this place, as is has thebest burgers from Poland"; and it was as such.Huge fresh made burgers in style and passion. It took 15 minutes to receive the meals as they where hand made, grilled, cut and loved before served. At 4 burgers you get 1L free of Pepsi to work your soul out.I think the images say all. We all where from different countries (USA, Romania, UK, Ukraina and Poland), having different tastes and expectations, but we all found the food appealing and taste.You must try!!

I dont know much about Katowice so I cant compare this place to other similar places in the same town. Anyway, the burger was great and the beer too. Unfortunately the arrived after we had already finished our food. The place is kinda small.

Tasty hamburgers with good beer and good background music (not live)! Some comes with lots of pepper so ask questions to the waiter. Workers are nice and polite. Place is small but cozy and nicely decorated.

Burgers are pretty good, and get quite a lot of burger for the price. Nothing gonna blow you away, but thats fine. Theres an English menu, which is nice.

Disgusting burgers, disgusting smell of burnt oil and terrible serviceI visited Mad Mick almost 10 years ago when it was brand new - delicious and perfect. The one on Warszawska Street has been visited by me several times during like 7 years. It was getting worse and worse. I gave them last chance last year: the smell of burnt oil was unbearable, the service was very bad and burgers tasted horribly. Only the fries were acceptable. I feel sorry for all those poor, unconscious people who think this is a good food. Its not and it shouldnt be called a restaurant. Keep out!

Im giving four stars because lately the quality has change. Prices went up and quality went down. The beer is great and most of the staff are nice too.

It is a good burger place with fresh sauces, nice beers and interesting burger options. I have been to Mad Mick first time a year ago and it was amazing, burgers were super fresh, juicy and really big. This time around I went here because I missed a good burger but my expectations were crushed, everything was still the same but the quality of the meat went down, it might be inflation or some meat crisis but it not as it used to be. Maybe it will get better if more people will visit it.

Really nice place, usually packed so plan ahead! Huge variety of burgers, including a few really weird ones. However, its neatly organised and there are a few great compositions that you should try. The fries and onion rings are pretty good. The only drawback is the meat is just decent. Still worth visiting for sure!

The burger was decent, but ultimately not anything special. Had the Mad Mick Burger, which had jalapeños on it, but it just wasnt really spicy at all. The beer was pretty good - better than the burger, anyway - but nothing extraordinary.

Had a sit down with four collegues on an off hour, there was just a lonely barkeep, however that didnt limit the place in service and providing great, fresh burgers. The presentation was a little off, but the taste was just fine. Its not a large place, and it may come across a little basic, but its to be recommended for grabbing a quick lunch, business or otherwise.
