A few local products, so check the lables, some were imported, we got some oysters and prawns anyway, we were at Woolworths the next day and the local prawns were cheaper than here...?Probably have better prices for business customers..

Cheap price but almost products are not fresh, and often calculate wrong bill. Check your seafood and receipt carefully before you leave.

Good fresh fish shop in Mackay! Staff is helpful and knowledgeable, happy to give friendly advice on how to cook your fish.

Dont go in there!but is the only fish shop that close to the city and open 6days week and popular to the local.

Bought medium king prawns and coffin bay oysters for a lunch we were hosting.Couldnt be happier.They were so tasty and fresh, and had many compliments from our guests.

The freshest seafood supplies in Mackay. You can find a variety of fish & seafood here which are all of fresh & high quality. Owner & staff all lovely. You can either visit their actual store any day of the week or make a trip to their Sunday only fish market as shown on the photos for more selections. Super glad I’ve discovered this place, will definitely be back weekly for my weekend seafood treat 😊

This place is a great place to take the grandkids, does smell a tad bit fishy though for some reason.

We werent that happy with the quality or freshness of the reef fish and green prawns. Maybe due to the Easter rush. We will try again.

Best cooked tiger prawns ive had in years! They actually tasted mildly salty, not a fan of prawns that have no taste. Grat price, good service, plenty of products to choose from, from basic fish and prawns, to large octopus tentacle and crocodile. Deffinately recommend, ill be back!

Got some beautiful freshly cooked Banana prawns and some fresh cooked mud crabs. OMG was absolutely yummo. Mum & Dad thought so to. At least MFM always have good prices the best in town as far as Im concerned. Will be back you bet...

I bought some fish fillets and when cooked smelt like ammonia which means that the ammonia-like smell is because the fish is not fresh. It is a product of decomposition. ... Fish should have only a briny aroma of the sea.

Whole fish had opaque white film eyes, were definetly not fresh.Filleted fish had bad smell, Mud Crabs were smelly and empty, prawns thrown out due to being mush. Dog smelt them and wanted no part of it all.Staff sitting outside fagging on like troopers then walking back in to serve, yuck.Will not return, tried twice.

This is our second visit for prawns. First visit was for christmas prawns which were not very nice and thought it may have been because it was so busy. Today bought some fresh prawns for lunch ...they were worse. Maybe these have been frozen and thawed. I am not sure but I certainly wont buy anymore. Sorry guys, maybe you need to sample your product.

Bought a heap of seafood here yesterday, frozen scallops were nice, frozen jumbo oysters were nice, a piece of coral trout was nice...... but the prawns and Bugs were awful, mushy with a very off putting flavour and smell....they were thrown out. Seems as if they were frozen at some point an defrosted again, very disappointing. Won’t be buying from here again.

We have just bought 2kilos of prawns and 2 crabs, firstly we came home to over salted prawns which were throat burning. We could not attempt to eat them but they did gracefully replace them with nicer ones. Sadly 1 of the 2 crabs we have bought were inedible, it was very mushy and had the texture of paste. We were very disappointed as we love seafood and it is a treat we can afford occasionally.
