Macao restaurant - Chinese restaurant in Prague, Czechia
The food was great.Staff was very friendly.Toilets where clean. We where fully fed for less the 1000 cz crowns
It was absolutely delicious! I can definitely recommend you the Summer Rolls :)
Great decor and atmosphere, pad thai and the red wine was good, but my fish soup was terrible. So I did not eat it, the waitresses came and asked if I was finished I said yes and I dont like it, she took it away. She did not ask if I want something else, just walked away. At the end we still got charged for it even though I didnt touch it.
The best asiatisch place I‘ve ever visited! Food is incredibly tasty!!!! I will come here many times and also today for the dinner!!!
A++++ perfect Chinese. The Zhou Yuan fried rice is incredible
Excellent food lovely restaurant
Very good and fresh food, and very nice place. Do not hesitate to try this restaurant. And prices are ok for this category of quality.
Great food and nice ambiance. Next right to the palladium it’s a good location and the staff nice. Definitely recommend moreover the fried duck with noodles one of my favourite meals there.
Very cosy ... very nice staff..
Amazing hidden gem in the heart of Prague. Dont miss. Lovely service too.
I can recommend this place 🤤😋Very tasty food and service is also very nice 😊🤗
Good spot, delicious food and respectful staff
Everything was truly delicious! Even the dipping sauces were perfect.
Quality Chinese food restaurant with other varieties of cuisine and flavours. Such as their Tom yam soup!! Fantastic.
Nice restaurant with great food. They seemed a bit understaffed and the time for the food to get to the table was a bit slow. I would say that I would overlook the delay in getting our food since it tasted so good. We actually went back a second time with friends who also liked the food. We tried the Udon Nui, Ramen, Rainbow Roll and potstickers. All very good.
Caution: tourist trap! dirty, sticky tables, bored staff, long wait for the ordered food. The soup as a starter was so spicy that I couldnt breathe at times. However, there was no indication of this on the menu. Prices in the menu fave been visibly corrected upwards, especially for tourists. The main course was not delivered as ordered. After a tip we were brought a plate so that we could put together the meal ourselves. The dish itself was disgustingly bad. Even after 2 days, my stomach is still busy with digestion. Conclusion: never again, rip-off at the expense of the numerous tourists. Stay away from this restaurant!
We had dinner there the other day. The food was delicious 😋 The waitress was kind, efficient. We had great time ! 👍
Very nice restaurant with very delicious food.
Delicious Asian food in the heart of Prague. I highly recommend their shrimp appetizer. Very beautiful interior and atmosphere as well.
We ate here twice. The food is excellent with fresh ingredients. The place is very clean. The service and people are very nice.
Very good sushi and other foodies. There is a risk that you dont get enough if you order more, due to not enough ingredients. Some desert not available.
Low prices, high quality food, good atmosphere
Very nice interior. It is a cozy place for locals and tourists alike. The prices are friendly, the service is fast and kind. There is an English menu. You can pay by credit card. I recommend this place.
Have been visiting Macao and Wok since 2018. Such a big change is seen! One thing that remains the same - delicious and not expensive food with a friendly service. As an entertaining bonus you can find a robot waitress here, which is bringing and collecting your order.
Very delicious, friendly service, freshly made, food took a bit longer but the waiting time was still OK.
Our company had a very great experience and really enjoyed the dishes that were recommended by friendly staff members. The waitress was really friendly, professional and nice. The foods were delicous 5/5. Highly recomended restaurant for a great evening meal.
Terrible portion size.. I order a Broccoli dish for 219 Koruna.. got like 100 grams of Broccoli.. I get bigger portion in a Michelin Star restaurant. this place sucks.
Im very happy to visit Czech Republic. I can find such a restaurant, and his dishes are not only delicious, but also authentic
This restaurant is OK, but not that special. To my mind the menu was far too extensive. I would prefer less choice of better quality food.
I was very pleasantly surprised to find this Chinese restaurant in Prague! The dishes were authentic, tasty, well prepared and nicely plated. The staff was friendly. The decor inside was very captivating and overall, we had a very nice meal. It was a nice break from the delicious local food and nice to have a taste from back home!
Very varied menu, great choice, also some special dishes that you dont easily find in Chinese restaurants, good food.
The food was delivered quickly and was very tasty. The staff aren’t that attentive to the customers. They close at 23:00, but they don’t allow people to come in last about 22:30 cause they close the kitchen and you have to pay for your meal when you order it and can’t add something on, so hopefully you don’t want another drink or anything. I’m content with the food I had
Nothing but issues from the moment we ordered, 12 of us went in, 4 of the party were without food for over half an hour, dishes came out that we didnt order disputed these and they said we must of ordered which we all stated we didnt. The whole experience was totally poor even down to the attitude of the staff only decent thing about thr place was the robot
Even one star is too generous for this restaurant! Ive been to many Chinese restaurants around the world and accepts that some of these restaurants has no trained chefs working the kitchen but can still manage to do good business with some basic Chinese home cooking classic dishes. However, this Macao restaurant has to be the most unauthentic Chinese food Ive ever experienced in my travels so far. Their food tastes so bad that I just paid and walked out of the restaurant after a few bites. Dont make the same mistake I made going to this restaurant if you want to have Chinese food!using Thai sweet chilli sauce making hot and sour soup which is a basic dish shows the chef having no basic training in Chinese cooking. Even basic stir fried bean sprouts came out bitter and raw. if the owner is paying for what he believed to be a train chef then I fubd it hard to believe if he has eaten in restaurants in China or even Macao before.
Good restaurant, meal taste nice, it has capacity around 60 seat. Serve by robot!!
Very bad experience. The staff is very unfriendly, no smile... We had to wait for one of our starter for long time, after arguing they served us the starter in the middle of our main meal. No apologies. The staff is just chatting behind the bar with no attention to ask us if we need some drink or anything else.. Food is actually not bad but the staff really dissapionting. Not again. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
Decent Chinese food in Prague, worthy trying! Delicious.
As a tour leader from Singapore that lead my group of tourists, Ive been recommended by my senior colleagues that I must go for your restaurant for my groups dinner. At 1st was quite doubt. But no. I was wrong. It was an excellent restaurant. Not just good. Price was great for such a good service by the 2 server, ladies, 1 from China & 1 from Vietnam. Very helpful & excellent services. Food were great. Glad to see my clients faces after a great dinner in your restaurant. Keep it up. Will definitely be back with my next & future groups. Gambateh!!!!!!!...
Very authentic Chinese food, and a great variety of it too. Price is slightly above average, the service is nice and real and the robot they tried to use to serve dishes is fun to watch.
No honesty restaurant. took my cash more than price by euro because the staff knew I was a just tourist not local in Prague. Beside seafood noodle soup that I ordered was so awful no tasty like just hot water without sauce. It is the worst food ever I had.
The food was reasonably good but the service was not good. Wait staff should not expect a tip when you bring a pile of plates and put them on the table next to us, I have to come get you several times, you dont bring enough plates and I have to come find you just to ask for one. With each interaction I get short unfriendly answers so no tip for you and you shouldnt wonder why.
Both the har gao and siu mei were bland and the crab claws were tiny and didnt have any crab taste at all. The fish soup is more like mushroom cream soup with pieces of fish in it. Water is not served (and I mean tap waterService is also slow so I dont recommend this place.
This place is adorable and feels very authentic. The food was amazing, me and my fiancee ordered 2 starters, 3 mains and 2 non-alcoholic drinks and that came to just less than 1000 crowns (40€). There is a huge selection of food to choose from it can make it difficult to decide. Staff were really nice and made an effort even with the slight language barrier. I would recommend this place if you wanted a good relaxing meal with no fuss.
I was quite hesitate to go to this restaurant since the "not so good" review. I gave a try because some of the reviews said that the restaurant used to be a great restaurant. After had a dinner there, in my personal opinion, the taste of kimchi jigae that we ordered quite ok. The interior of the restaurant was quite nice and one of the staff who served us was really nice. The price was a little bit high but compare with the portion and the same menu in the other restaurant was quite ok. Unfortunately the other staff who took our payment was quite rude. She gave our change rudely without saying anything and almost thrown the change out of the tray. Im still hoping that this restaurant could improve and get back to the glory by improving the service and the quality of the food.
We went in Dec 2016, food was not bad, the price were a good deal.
Fast food suits my personal taste. However, the price is a bit high. In return, staff service agile, gentle. In general, I feel satisfied about the restaurant.
Rude and untrained staff. Was guided to my table with a nod of the head as server continued her chat with her coworker.Picture and actual dishes did not match.Ex. Xiao-long-bao was frozen thick skinned with no juice inside. Duck had no skin and was very dry. Also be careful of the pricing. Expensive. Way too expensive for what it is.
I have wait more than 30 minutes for only one dish... and too expensive...Staff...untrained...rude...
Worst service ever. I was just ordering a take-away meal but the waitress was so rude. In addition, shes unwilling to explain the menu. I even tried to use her native tongue(Chineseto ask but she switched to English(probably thought I didnt understand English). Her English was really hard to understand.Anyway, horrible service! I will not recommend anyone to come here...
HORRIBLE SERVICE!! I am never going to this place again. Food was average. Waitress was so rude. Food was over priced for quality. I was served semi frozen dumplings from a box and took one bite. And told the waitress it was not good. She made us still pay for it. Claiming she didnt understand. Complete rubbish. Dont go there.
