Pavilion featuring giant pandas in indoor & outdoor habitats, plus education exhibits & a gift shop.
Free entry, just needs one extra step to see the pandas! Lots of exotic wildlife such as monkeys, butterflies and birds. Total area of the park is very small since the ecological trail was closed when I went, but the overall experience was very relaxing! Great for kids and families who want to stroll around. The panda information center shows the lifespan of the pandas as well has their names (kang kang and jian jian), meaning healthy in Chinese.
Came here as a part of a tour so I didnt expect to see pandas. Too bad one panda got inside after a while, but the other one came down to us for photos. They are adorable!
A must go to place for all the panda lovers out there!!! The cute puffy creatures just make your day by their adorable and lazy acts. The panda pavilion is a well maintained place, where you can find normal pandas as well as red panda, along with few other animals. The souvenir shop too provides cute stuff related to pandas.
The place is really nice. You can get the chance to see real Pandas for only 10 MOP. Their zoo has varierty of animal and the entrance is free. It is a good place to hang out with the whole family.
Beautiful, peaceful retreat from the crowds! Excellent facilities, free of charge to view many animal exhibits, only a small fee to see the panda exhibit. Well worth a visit.
I liked it. Went there in 2007. Walked almost 2 km inside the park..its actually big area.. Pandas are so very adorable and naughty like kids..regards Devansh Chaurasiya ..in Macau
Nice place to go if you like to watch animals walking around. 10hkd and u can watch the panda too. They are even more active than those in HK. But the park is little bit hard to get to.
Amazing experience. Quiet and tidy, lots of space to relax. They have red and regular pandas.
Great pandas! Its a pretty small place aimed at families, but pretty nice. The staff here was wonderful too, really helpful. L
This is bit far from Macau city but our travel is worth though we waited for a little longer but still we got to meet these 2 cute pandas playing while on the other side one giant panda sleeping soundly.
This place was amazing. We saw giant pandas and red panda here for 20hkd. Would recommend if you would like to see Pandas. They were very active and easy to see. We went on weekday and there was hardly anyone around so got great pictures and video. Cost us around 40hkd for a taxi from Cotai strip - 10min ride. If you do go get hotel concierge advice on catching taxi. We had little cards with English/Chinese translation as not all taxi drivers understand our accents. They can also give you number to radio call taxi if needed. We ended up catching a taxi back from the driveway of the apartment buildings across the road.
Very nice place to visit whilst in Macau. Super cute pandas to entertain you. ❤
This place is so cute!! Adorable little zoo, everything is free to visit except the pandas which are just 10MOP. I went at 3-4pm and they were sleeping and then got feed which was cool!
Three beautiful pandas! It only cost 10 HKD/person and you can see the rest of the animals for free. Make sure to go there when they get fed, then they come up really close to the window which they didnt do for the rest of the hour. We were there between 15:00-16:00. Im a little concerned about the third Panda who was alone in his own enclosure.
Nice park, I liked the library, a lot of info about pandas, was very interesting to know some facts. We didnt go to see pandas though, as it wasnt feeding hour
Door open at 10 am. They feed the pandas at 10 am so opportunity to snap them while snacking. CUTE.
The panda viewing area remains closed to the visitors on every Monday. But, you can still enjoy the other parts of the zoo for free.
A very nice place to visit .You will find apes, pandas and raccoons here. The pandas are very Cute .I loved this place
Though this may not be a place to spend a whole day it was definitely worth the time and cost to see the pandas and read their stories. We were lucky enough to visit when two of them were very active. Theres also a lot of information available about pandas in general that I found interesting.
So cool to see giant pandas up close and personal. They were active and playful, alternating between eating and wrestling with each other. One of them woke the other up by pulling on her leg! The red pandas were also great to see. You’ll find birds and other animals here, too.
If you love Panda and plan to spend a day in Coloane Island, this could be a place to visit, otherwise this is a place that you may skip. The zoo are quite small and has limited number of animals, the main highlight are 3 Pandas, and red pandas, which you only have to pay 10MOP to see Panda
Its a good place to go with kids. Giant pandas are charming in their laziness. Also you may visit red panda pavilion. Behind the pavilions big natural park with the hiking trails to the biggest mountain of Macau.
A very nice place to explore with kids and family or friends. Its like a mini zoo..Great place for photographyAnd the entry ticket is just 10MOP (very cheap)You get to see monkeys, various species of birds, pandas, fish etc...You have a store where you can buy some food and also buy goodies for souvenir.
A place to visit especially if youre with children when travelling to Macau and its very affordable for only 10 MOP. We were able to see the pandas but they were sleeping. I think its better to time your visit when its feeding time so the pandas are awake. There are other animals like monkeys, flamingos, red pandas etc. to see in this place though not a lot like a regular zoo. There is also a gift shop where you can purchase panda merchandise.
Wow! Well worth the trip down from the cotai strip. The pandas were very active and the crowd was non-existent. We felt like we had a private garden with pandas. Its very easy to take the bus here and entrance fee is cheap. Well worth it!
Got panda sandwiches. Nom non. The best Ive ever tasted. If you can afford it a panda paw in a red wine sauce is defiantly worth the money. If your on a budget, fried panda snouts are a cheap beer snack. ;)
Its Pandas!!!! What else can be said about it. Best time to visit is around 3, which is after their nap time :so theyll be energetic and cute as always!
Really cool to see all the animals. There is also access at the back to the mountain trails that takes you to the monistary
Awesome! Just MOP 10 per pax for one hour admission but is enough to watch the panda with various patterns... Hehe, got three pandas there. Two were sleeping ,not so active , another one quite active, so cute! Got other special animals, big garden, small pandas information centre with movie etc. Worth a visit!
Pandas were sleeping. However, there are many other beautiful unique animals to encounter. Especially the white cheeked gibbon with his mysterious call.
Loved it, the pandas werent so active for us but the monkeys and other animals were up and about and the whole place is well setup
Great place with information about pandas. Nice park area too. Only MOP10
In love with those cutie pies. I can feel the pandas are raised in a warm and hearty environment.
Great place to see the pandas. Went mid week 2nd week of July 2018. Not busy at all. You will have to pay to see the pandas in an enclosed viewing area. One hour limit to view the pandas. Rest of the zoo is free.
What a great stop if you are traveling with small children, and unlike other Panda “parks” close by this is affordable at $20 Hong Kong dollar per person! We visited during a typhoon and there were very little people visiting so you could actually enjoy the view!
The Panda Pavilion is a neat place to consider visiting during trips to Macau. When you arrive at the park near Coloane Village, walk to the ticket booth, selling designated tickets for HK$10 per person. You have to choose a designated time slot, 1 per hour. This is how they control the number of people going into the pavilion enclosure to see the pandas. You will enter an temperature controlled enclosure area, designed to keep the Pandas happy and healthy and offer maximum viewing experience for a good number of people, per hour. It is also heavily air conditioned which is great if its hot outside which it will be during the summer months.Remember, Pandas are from cold climate environments so they need it to be quite cool. Unfortunately, Pandas are Pandas... and Pandas are really lazy creatures that like to lay around doing nothing or sleeping for many hours of the day. Thus, there is a very good chance that they will be inactive during your designated hour, as was the case during our recent trip at 12-1pm. During this hour, they laid in a corner, very difficult to see and only stirred a few times, offering only the slightest of opportunities to see them. This was disappointing but when you only pay HK$10 per ticket, how can you complain.During other visits, we have caught them during feeding times when they are up near the enclosure class and actively feeding (100% good viewing of the pandas). We have also seen them active during non-feeding times as well. During non-feeding times that we have visited, Id say the good views have happened 30-40% of the time. There were some decent animal displays outside as well, including, Red Pandas, South American Toucan, somewhat similar to our Asian Hornbill, that was very interesting to see. There is a large Koy pond as well and some designated picnic table areas that are free of charge for usage. The Pavilion is located south of the Cotai Strip in Coloane but its easy to find as there is not much development in this direction yet. Our taxi driver knew of the Pavilion but it was his first time there so its possible you might need to bring a map with you as this is a very new attraction at the moment.Tip: There are some local buses that pick up outside the Pavilion but for visitors, it might be difficult to know where they are going. Its probably best to hail a taxi and just pay for a taxi to get back to your hotel.Overall, the Panda Pavilion should make a very nice addition to the Macau tourism scene, especially if they are active during your visit.
Not crowded at 4pm. Some 4 pandas. They are cool, it is enjoyable hour to spend watching those wonderful bears. Yes 10 Macau dollar buys 1 person 1 hour in the pavilion with pandas.
Definitely worth spending an hour - giant pandas and small red pandas - a few monkeys as well! HKD10 to see the Panda exhibit. Recommended!
A small park with Panda pavilion. Free entrance and just 10 HKD for pavilion entrance fee. Very good place to see Panda without any congestion (in case of Japan, very crowded always).
Awesome PANDA’s. Best time to visit, PANDA’s enjoy lunch time
We were very excited to see the pandas and were not disappointed! You pay $10hkd for an hours slot, we went at 4pm as this is one of the feeding times. All four pandas were visible and adorable. The rest of the park is free, including red pandas, various monkeys and birds. Well worth a visit.
This is great place, beside Panda house, it has very large park and loot of playgrounds for kids. They have some big Panda at the panda house, the ticket is 10 dollar for adult and free for children. They have some rare animals to be care of. Same mongkeys and birds, swans and big lake with gold fish. There are meuseum for panda at the top hill building. Merchandise store is available at the ticketing office.
Great experience. Usually not crowded. Zoo is free and to see the Pandas it is 10MOP. Nice park.
Must see :-adorable pandas, black swans, some pink and white flamingo :-and a lot more animals around. Its a huge park, a beautiful surroundings and a clean park where you can do everything like exercising, hiking, walking, sightseeing and even eating :-theres a place where you can just sit and enjoy the view. Its easy to get here just ride a bus going to coloane :-)
Free entrance to watch animal in the zoo except panda. Pandas are very playful
Free unless you want to see the panda. Great place to bring kids, not much to do for adults
We went on 16.08.17. For only 10 MOP each and our 10 year old son was free to see the Pandas. We went around 11am and the Pandas were still eating. The little ones were play flight and annoying their mother. It was lovely to watch! Their enclosure was clean, and had A.C. the male was fast asleep. We also saw the red panda too. The park is large and has other things to see. We loved this visit. Staff in the gift shop were friendly and helpful.
Very cool place to see a panda family... Thank goodness for air-conditioning.
A must visit place. Went there on Saturday around 3pm, seeing the twins Kai Kai and Xin Xin enjoy their meals. Xin xin was soooo cute, but Kai Kai look a little upset. They were seperated in different rooms. There are also red pandas and other animals.
We visited the park today at 2pm and the mum panda was still eating! The dad was already asleep and the 2 baby pandas were kept inside/out of sight. Feeding and playing time seems to be random, good luck!
