Food was awesome as always

Absolutely great food for a great price at this spot! Was in Muncie for work and when I drove by the establishment initially I saw they SERVE BREAKFAST FROM OPEN TO CLOSE and that caught my eye. I could eat breakfast any day, any time of day and appreciate that. I stopped in after i finished my job that was in the area and the drive thru was legitimately ALL the way around the building. My truck couldn’t fit thru the drive thru so I came inside for some carry out. The cashier took several orders ahead of me while I looked at the menu and then kind of ignored me for a couple of minutes. When he FINALLY acknowledged me, I ordered a double biscuits and gravy with a side of large tater tots (or the equivalency). After waiting a few minutes, I got my cold tater tots and my absolutely amazing biscuits and gravy for a little over $7. Def a cheap, nice spot to stop by and grab a bite to eat. Many of the ‘specials’ sounded great and I’m sure they are, no doubt. The food was GREAT! Def suggest stopping by if you’re in the area. You won’t be disappointed! FOOD IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

Good local spot for a quick reasonable price.

Bs and gs with hash browns are the staple if you can beat the hangover crowd in the morning on the weekends. Expect to wait in a long line if this is the case after 10:00 a.m.

I love a place that serves breakfast all day thats inexpensive too

Got rid of there good workers place is not worth going to now slow slow slow I came because the people who worked there knew what to do the worst service ever so disappointed please hire the good workers back good workers are hard to find 🤣

Horrible don’t know how to use the registers won’t accept Apple Pay even though they offer it , they need to train and have some more people working with common sense .. cheap food cheap service .. no wonder the other stores have closed down

The prices are decent, most of the food is good, but theres definitely a lack of friendly here at this particular restaurant, some Facebook reviews have said the same thing. Its been a staple in Muncie for many years, but friendly definitely needs to be something that learned here. I am also noticing that one person has to bounce back and forth from drive thru and the counter, which is unacceptable, the woman definitely needs help, because to run a counter and drive thru is too much, theres definitely room for improvement here

I ordered and paid for two cups of gravy including around $30 worth of food two weeks ago. I called and they said they would replace it I told them I wouldn’t be able to come back that day because it was storming. I told the lady I don’t get to go in there that often to begin with. She said she would replace it the next time I come in. I asked if I could get the 2 cups of gravy with my $20 order today. She said that I had five days to get the gravy I ordered. Horrible customer service with cheap food. Michelle should be reevaluated for her management position.

The fries were sitting under a heat lamp for God knows how long and they were full of oil thank God though that they didnt add salt. The super loin was ok

Biscuits and gravy always the best in town!The store hours are terrible and they need to update the property, just looks dirty. Good food but they need a good power wash and a fresh coat of paint wouldnt hurt

Burger was gross, too many topping Pattys were overcooked.

It was like 17 bucks for 3 meals,...taco bell is 24 for 2 meals, u do the math! Great food n service

Onion chips are as good as White Castle. Husband liked the biscuits and gravy. Very reasonably priced.

Strawberries were old and sandwich was dry so not a good visit. Think Ill try other macs nx time!!

Have great food for a great price. Country fried steak dinner is great with white gravy, must ask for white gravy during weekdays, otherwise it comes with a nasty brown gravy thats too salty.

Macs a great place for Biscuits and Gravey. Great breakfast food, lunch and dinner isnt bad either. But definitely depends on whos in the kitchen.

Ordered unsweetened tea. Tasted horrible, had a moldy taste. Told employee at counter that it was bad and she just said okay. She didnt offer a refund. This was the first time I had visited and I dont anticipate a return trip.

Love Macs but this visit the beef on our Manhattan was fried and burnt, the gravy was lumpy. I eat them every time I eat there and this was the only time I have experienced this. My husband said we werent going back but I told him we were cause this is our first bad experience

Food was horrible! Service took an eternity, will never return again. Board of Health should shut this place down!

I had the western omelette and it is by far my favorite rap I have ever had for breakfast.

The service was friendly. The restaurant was clean. The food was good. I especially liked the chicken strips. I cant believe they serve Ribeye steak. I would have bought that if Id seen it first.

Its been a long time since we have been too this Macs it was good and I know it wouldve been better if we both werent sick today but well be going back food and service was great

My dad and I eat breakfast here a lot (they serve breakfast all dayI really like the sausage biscuits, I cant speak on anything else bc I dont know, but he likes the country fried steak. Its a decent enough establishment, nothing to complain about.

Had ham and cheese it was great w onion strips. Tasted like it did 40 yrs ago when in high school.

One of my favorite places to eat, I love their breakfast sandwiches. I always use the drive-thru, so it could take a while to get through. I guess everybody else likes it too. Every time im in Muncie I stop by, and never disappointed. Excellent food and great prices.

Used drive up window. Rather slow but thats probably because of help shortage. Got biscuits and gravy. They were not as good as they used to be. Changed vendors? Miss our Macs on Madison St

We love their food! However every time we go there, something is missing from our order. Like a whole meal. Please check your food at window make sure it is all there!

Grew up on Maxs biscuits and gravy they taste a little different now but theyre still pretty good and love them Ash rounds and you need to put more gravy over the biscuits

Got 2/3rds of our order right. Only got 2 of our 3 drinks and 2 out of 3 of our food. Stick a fork in me Im done and if they can not get competent help they will stick a fork in themselves also.

For being a little restuarant thats been around for forever it stills has awesome food and still has employees that will carry on a conversation with you. Very friendly people and place.

Great menu, variety, quality and value. Unfortunately the burgers dont hold a candle to the Madison location.

How can you spend 67 dollars and have to pay for a side ranch. Then not give us ketchup, mustard, salt and pepper that we asked for.Shady management.

The food was great and the service was great. I understand that every place you go now days is understaffed due to the situation that our country is in but they did a really great job. Keep up the good work.

I usually like the food at Macs, but like all other restaurants now, I am disappointed in the quality/smaller portions/bigger price, etc. Todays Meatloaf special had much smaller portions, everything was cold, the beans are too peppery, the potato scoop was maybe two tablespoons worth, and half of the smaller meatloaf portion was a hard, burnt, non-edible chunk. The only good thing I can say about my experience today was that the window person was pleasant.

Ive been coming to this restaurant for over 2 years and today (5/6was the worst experience I have had. 20 minutes in the drive thru only to find out that there was only ONE person doing both the counter and window. They were out of several menu items and, their credit card machine "is running slow". Where was the manager? Where was the owner?**UPDATE** Today (6/8), it was 32 minutes in the drive thru. No apologies, no nothing. Unless youre a fan of waiting, I have to say: DO NOT COME HERE.

Food is good fast food. Nothing extra special. But their bbq and ham n cheese are good.

They gave me the wrong order and when we came back with the receipt the lady in the window said that we lied. She was extremly rude. And dident give us what we paid for. We will never be back.

I ordered 5 dinners and got home to find the $4 plus dollars I paid for chicken tenders were not in the bag. I called to tell them and the young lady who answered the phone turned to the young lady working the window and asked her if she gave me the tenders. Of course she said yes with the tone of voice she used on her, in fear she was in trouble. The lady on the phone called me a liar and wanted to argue. She then hung up on me. I order from here quit a bit and I have never had any problems. The country fried steak was so over cooked we had to throw it away, you couldn’t even cut it. I normally don’t write bad reviews but the conduct of this employee was that bad. I will follow up with the owner tomorrow. I understand it’s hard to find help but not having her as an employee would be a plus. Very RUDE
