Kenyas Masai Mara is an incredible bio-diverse area and a popular safari destination. Its an opportunity to see the "big five" animals (lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and Cape buffaloall during one trip or, if youre lucky, during one afternoon. The protected Masai Mara National Reserve park area is huge, over 1,500 square kilometers of mainly grassland, extending all the way to the Serengeti plain of Tanzania. The popular times to visit are during the twice-yearly migrations, the main one being in July and August. Over a million wildebeest and other animals cross the area in huge groups to go from one feeding area to another. Most visitors fly into Nairobi, then take a small bush plane to the Mara.
What a great life time experience in Masai Mara reserve. I was lucky to visit this place in a month to find all big 5s amd hundreds of other animals. The safari, night stay in tents with all dark at 10pm, jungle amd animals sounds at night all cant be explained in words. Such a great experience. I would recommend this place for every nature lover to visit once in a lifetime. U wont regret it for sure.
It’s like a dream come true. Such a beautiful and mesmerizing place to visit full of wild animals everywhere. Nature at it’s best. We learn from this we share this planet with all creatures created by God.

Amazing. I hope it is kept this way. The wildlife was abundant and beautiful. Every animal that exists there was in for a show. The best time to visit Is Late August to September as this is the time of the great migration.Arrangements for the vist and the rules that they make toy follow are very good.Good place will recommend anyone with an eye for wildlife to visit.
One of the best safari in the world. Watching animals in their natural habitat is indeed thrilling experience that too when it includes big cats. Worth visiting.
It was an amazing and exhilarating safari experience. The feeling of watching wild and such beautiful animals so close cant be described in words. We managed to see the Big 5: lion, cheetah, elephant, buffalo and rhino, big thanks to our driver.
Its a paradise! Probably the best reserve for a safari in Kenya if you want to see all the big Five without much hustle. It deserves to be one of the natural world wonders. We visited in half july but we didnt see the migration. Probably in some seasons might be a bit too much congested by turists.
Best safari in the world ! Most awesome sights you can witness only here.
One of the best game drives youll ever get. Beautiful place to be, plus the wildebeest migration experience... a wonderful experience..
I have visted a wide variety of parks in Kenya but none has landscapes as beautiful as this. The park is vast with a wide variety of animals and experiences. The ultimate off road park. To experience the park at its best, i would suggest a maasai guide. I got one through our trip arranged by MORNINGSTAR TOURS & TRAVEL
Wildebeest migration is one of the most thrilling experience and view. The place also has other wild animals including elephants, lions, , buffaloes, giraffes amongst others. Birds are also common in this place. The mara river has huge crocs and hippos as well. One of the best parks for game drives that never get boring.
Perfect tourist destination! Amazing gamewatch and interactive tour guides. Recommend for gamewatch!

Well mapped, with enormous roaming wild life - elephants, Buffalo, Hippos, Giraffes, Lions, black rhinos, impalas, Gazelle, water bucks and many other Savanah life including birds. Unfortunately didnt get to see cheetah and Leopards. Would recommend this safari for anyone willing to indulge in wild Africa.
I just love zebras cz of their shy nature. If you approach closely, theyll just run away. And this particular day, we drove too close and they ran away we only snapped a few photos. We even had two cross the road to the other side from the group. Theyre such amazing animals and I love them
Mara reserve is Located approximately some 200Km East of Nairobi by road. The Mara Reserve also has several airstrip services & a handful of tourist camps inside the reserve and bordering Conservancies.Best time to visit during the drier months of June and August when the Great Migration hits its peak. But then its Over crowded. To avoid crowds, its better to visit in the months of October &November, February or March when sightings are still plenty & theres good weather as well.Karibu Kenya (Welcome to Kenya)
Incredible wildlife. Unforgettable experience.
Mara Serova Lodge was top notch: Wide food selection, great "tents" and beds! Eggs made to order in the morning!

Welcome to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, one of the most exciting tourist destination in Kenya. This destination has breathtaking landscape, wild animals to watch and ultra modern campsites for overnight stay.
Beautiful park with large quantities of elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffalos, warthogs, wildebeests, and much more! Very impressive and one of the most beautiful and impressive things I have been able to see and experience with my own eyes!We stayed with And Beyond in their nice camp and it was just amazing!!! Even in January when we went.. definitely want to come back in my life!
I did two full day game drive here and even outside of the main season the experience from the park was outstanding. Except black rhino I saw all the the big fives and way more. These two days were the days I will never forget. Beautiful open park where you have still the option to move freely in the same way as the animals which can migrate to Tanzania.
MISCONDUCT BY SUPREME ADVENTURES COMPANYDuring the safari the six members of the Supreme Adventures company were drunk and with the music at full volume they did not stop singing screaming. On many occasions we have exceeded 60km / h and have forced many animals to run across the road.It has been impossible to take photos and observe the animals in their natural environment as they were totally disturbed by noise and speed. They were forced to leave our presence, some of them were running scared.I feel totally cheated and ignored and I am not going to shut up because I consider his way of acting a lack of respect, not only for me, but also for the national park, its fauna, environmentalism, tourism and Kenya in general.
The most expansive game reserve in the country rich in diverse animals especially migratory eighth new wonder of the world, wildebeest and the zebra. It has a wealth of campsites, hotels,Bush trails and game drives. It crosses over to Tanzania where it is called Serengeti
Epic!! Best place in Kenya for wildlife safari & sightings. The 8th wonder of the world. You can see the wildebeest migration here from July to August
one of the best family trip that we ever trip.Imagine Kenya as a travel destination and you are probably conjuring up images of expansive savannahs teeming with herds of wildlife with the iconic image of an Acacia tree starkly silhouetted against a crimson sky. Kenya, after all, is renowned for one of the greatest natural spectacles on earth – the Great Migration of millionsWould deftly recommend kenya to anyone
At the mara you wud experience a whole lot of experience right from the awesome game dives with view of the big five, hot air balloon drives, swimming at luxurious hotels, good food, the maasai welcoming culture and many more, try visiting and trust me u will not regret.
Best safari in Kenya 🇰🇪
Best national reserve in Kenya. This is the only place in Kenya where we can see the wildebeest migration and river crossing. we saw lions , lionesses, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, zebras, topi, antelope, impala, ostriches, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles and many birds species. You need a good driver with a walkie talkie and 4 wheel drive car so that it can go through the wet areas. Standard package is 3 days 2 nights .
Wildlife Safari like none other. Get close with nature and observe wildlife upfront. Lions with their prides and royal march, cheetahs (tanu borawith their speed, agility and fericous hunts, elephants wandering endlessly around, giraffes roaming around, wilderbeast migration and river crossing, crocodiles, hippos, and if you re lucky, you might also find a rhino walking and leopard lurking in the trees. Not to miss!!
This place is pure heaven for anyone who lives wild life. The jungle is so vast with all species that you will enjoy it throughout. We did 2 safaris - one in evening and the other one early morning and were lucky enough to spot all big 5 animals.
Very nice place to visit. Adventure backpackers Tanzania is the best travel agency in kenya . Adventurebackpackets.net
Awesome place for kids, must go, we feel like a member of forest, beautiful place...
There are animals everywhere. Unbelievable. A must-see in Kenya.
Masai Mara was an amaizing place I got to see the Big 5 animals. The buffalo the elephant the Lion and many other animals . The restaurants there are good and classic that offer nice rooms and fine accommodation.I really enjoyed.
It is such a huge land! I took a safari tour around Masaai Mara and I really enjoyed the trip. It took us many hours to find the animals and we managed to find many of them. The view is fabulous. Mind you, theres no public restroom once youre around the area.
Amazing National Reserve. Was here for 3 days. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Saw wildlife like I have never seen before. It was a trip of lifetime. Must visit here if you are visiting Kenya.
The best time to see animals is at dawn or dusk, regardless of time of year. Make sure to bundle up and bring your camera, fully charged!
Masai Mara NP is the most emphatic place I found by my travels. Not only there are a huge wild animals reserve but the variety one could expect is limitless. Ive found from Big Five to fire ants. If you willing to study the wild behaviour Masai Mara NP is the place to be. Excellent hotels (both budget and luxury options available), lovely and welcoming people, traditional Masai villages, travel options to name a few. From the Masai Mara you will find both peace as well as life.
Amazing place with nice terrain of savannah & varieties of animals. 3 days game drive is usually adequate to cover most animals. Baloon safari is too available. Many airstrips like Kiprook are inside the reserve, where a tourist can land & can go for hotel stay inside reserve.Big 5 animals, varieties of birds can be found inside. You will go till nomans land, Kenya-Tanzania border on day 2 for lunch. Weather condition affects the sighting of animals, though dry weather with clouds are common in day time, rains can change the terrain altogether for beautiful view.3 days & 2 nights packages from Nairobi starts at 150 USD for residents & citizens. Quite affordable reserve fees. Must visit place. This reserve is continuous with Serengeti national park of Tanzania.
Awesome experience ...Activities safari drive, balloon safari and tribals village visiting etc..
Nice experience, mesmerising views of nature. Ideal place for all wildlife enthusiast. Masai Mara has the best of wildlife for viewing, big crocks in the lake, big cats and many more. Lodges and tents are available near the park for staying. This park is surrounded by thick and dense forest. Vehicle with guide and forest escorts are available to visit this park.
The best park in Kenya. Abundant wildlife and you can see all the big five here
If you have time and can afford, take a trip to the Masai Mara once in a lifetime. Lots of game lodges are there with 5 star facilities. Take a club tent, land cruisers are good to commute through tough terrain. Also do not miss to visit Masai Village.
