Hidden jewel 💎 in Zhongshan district. It’s a very cozy bar and their signature cocktails 🍹 are really taste! Also, appetizers are good. 🤩

Great cocktail bar located underneath the AMBA hotel. The environment was very inviting and the ambience was chilled and relaxing. Had the bars signature cocktails and tried couple of classic cocktails as well. A great place to hang out with your friends.

Derrick the bar manager is always welcoming and in a good mood. Also the bartender 小麥 provides good service. Both has vast knowledge in different kinds of alcohol and Derrick especially in whiskeysOne of the best twist on an Old Fashioned drink in my opinion (Formosa Old Fashioned)

Good atmosphere, cocktails are unique.They dont serve food. I would recommend the restaurant upstairs if you are into American food

Cocktails fastidiously made, my “Don’s little bitter” was nicely balanced and shaken to a nice texture. Not a whisky bar but a good choice of scotch and bourbon including the excellent local Omar. A word of warning though, service can be slow when busy.

Walking distance from Shuanglian MRT station. We come on weekend and need to queue. The place is pretty spacious with a DJ play live music. We order peach tea (NTD300- presentable look, Black Forest (NTD450- taste so so, Dutch East India (NTD400- taste so so too. Service charge 10%. Free popcorn. Overall the taste didnt give any deep impression. Its not a repeat place to visit. Friendly staff btw.

Consistently ranked top 10 cocktail bars in Taipei, MUD was a great experience. Classic speakeasy, the cocktails are very carefully crafted and appropriately priced. One of the best old fashioned’s I’ve ever had, with top shelf ingredients. The bartenders are attentive, friendly, and professional. I was visiting Taipei for work, and the atmosphere and attitude of those here made it an easy answer to relax and spend my time.

a great night in Mud bar with my mate .atmosphere was chill and staffs were amazing.Dylan made us 3 different gin tonic and they were all different flavours and tasted amazing!The cocktail on menu we had the Shiso Sour, which is fresh and smells natural.Wawa is a great staff too, she is patient and chatty.It was a nice experience in Mud. Will defo come here again.

Come here on dates quite often. Beautiful interior design with modern furnitures. Live DJ during the night. Everything is just on point together with a glass of wine or cocktail.Winter special is the mulled wine❤️

Probably the worse service / bartending I have ever experienced. If I could give a negative rating I would. *Before reading this review, keep in mind that they charge a 10% service fee and drinks are about 400 NT on average. It was around 11 pm and the establishment was full but wasnt crowded or busy*My friend arrived 20 minutes before my other friends and I did and ordered a drink. After our whole party arrived, the drink finally came.There was space at the bar but not enough stools. We waited for a couple minutes for someone to greet us but 2 of 3 of the bartenders were making drinks and 1 of them was simply drying cups. So we had to get our own stools. We then asked for the menu - we were pointed in a direction and told "its over there". We proceeded to get our own menus.The rest of our party ordered together with the female bartender. 1 drink came within 5 minutes. The bartender then proceeded to wash the shakers (there were plenty on the bar already so that was unnecessary), wipe down some cups, and even had a snack instead of beginning to make our drinks.Another 10-15 minutes went by of the bartender continuing to do tasks OTHER THAN BARTENDING. I had to ask another bartender about our drinks and he proceeded to mislead us by telling us there was broken glass on the floor that they needed to clean up first (there was broken glass, but it was broken well after we ordered drinks).The female bartender tried to explain to us that the first drink came quickly because it was easy to make (quite a ridiculous excuse as part of the experience and service is that you receive your drinks at the same time and try them at the same time as your friends).I can fully accept if the bartenders were backed up and making drinks for others patrons and the slowed the service, but what I cant accept is terrible service and terrible attitude.I would not recommend anyone looking for a good night or good experience to come to this bar.Update: My friend ordered another drink 20 minutes ago, but again, it never came. This bar is a complete joke.

Classy lounge bar, nice music, very chilled place. Drinks are really good, slightly pricy but for the class, it’s a pretty decent place to hang around, chilled and chit-chat with friends. :)

Fantastic drinks! Honestly, some of the best cocktails ive had in all the places ive been to in Asia. The bartenders are very friendly and are craftsmen in concocting your drink. Highly recommend you pay a visit.

Atmosphere of the bar is good. Music is nice. Cocktail taste good without too much decorations. The price of the cocktail is around 400 NT dollar. Recommend “Dragon Well”. If you like the aroma of the tea, you will not regret to order this one.

A low-key bar in the little alley. Pretty chill and relaxing. The staff was missing so we had to wait for a bit, but one bartender came to us when she saw us waiting. The cocktail was pretty good and the staffs are friendly :thank you

Been here serval times, this is the worst experience ever, waited 40 mins for our first drink, another 40 mins for our second drink, they do seem pretty busy so i guess we can live with it. But a few more friends came later on, by then it wasnt that packed, we ordered another round of six drinks, 5 of them came pretty quick, but the last one wasn’t even here before they finished, and kept telling us they are making it.Giving two stars, drinks are not bad, but i’ll never come again, that 10% services fee is definitely not worth it.

Order a whisky sour, not bad. However, when I order a beer, they run out of glass. It surprise me, as the bar is not fully occupied.And it is first time I go to a bar and tell me they run out of glass.Price is also comparatively high in the area. It cost 400 for a cocktail.

Used to like it, until I went in with a friend. Although it was 95% empty, we were told we couldnt sit where we wanted to because our party wasnt big enough.It reminded me of an experience at the hotels Ximendien location. I cant remember exactly what it was, but a similar thing in their restaurant. Some simple request met with, "No, because" and then some rule that made no sense to me, recited like a robot. International prices and international superficial appearance, narrow perspective on hospitality. I dont feel good here. Wont return. Okura Prestige has a sumptuous lounge. Regent Hotel has a grand lounge.

Very cool and impersonal service, expected better because they were on the bootlegger’s list. My geisha was sweet and fragrant, liked the first few sips, but had a hard time finishing it. I may be wrong, but I think the pineapple syrup in the drink knew I wasn’t appreciating the bar and the drink as much as I should, so it burned my mouth.

Extremely bad service, cocktail is subpar, ambiance is good otherwise. Commented that one of the drink tastef artificial and the bartender came to correct us that its exactly how it should taste. Asked for water at the end of the round, no action for 30 minutes. Asked again at the same bartender said "oh...okay" reluctantly. Later then the apologized that they can give us a 20% discount, the team lead appeared at the end and said none of that was true, full price as is.

Nice chic and chill place with alright cocktails.Wouldnt say its the best Ive ever had but not bad, bit pricey for TW standard tho.Good place for a date, or if youre looking for quiet place to chill and have a good chat with friends

Very nice and casual bar. It was a Friday night after dinner nearby, they have DJ there for music. Drinks well too.

A special place to just have a good drink and relax at your own table. Not a dive bar at all, no standing around kind of vibe but very chilled. Service was good and dj was pretty on point.

Great cocktails and service. Kinda hidden away behind a restaurant on zhongsan. The bartender is very friendly and offered many different drinks for us to try. If you want delicious cocktails you cannot miss this place. Had a great time here and will be sure to visit again.

Casual bar with a great selection of cocktails. Nice for a chilled out event as they allow the space to be rented out for events and good bartenders that really put a lot of effort into the drinks.

Good: Nice decor. Smoke free. Good selection of cocktails and beers. Bad: Took them 20 mins to serve me my beer and they didnt have any food besides popcorn.

We found this bar on google map, it wasnt our plan but we were surprised to find this hidden gem in Zhongshan district. Its very quiet during the week day, they have a selection of good cocktails, and the bartenders were very professional. Love the good ambience inside, such a nice place to chill out with friends, I would love to come back again soon. The lovely cocktail I had on that day was Pisco Sour, love it!

Small underground bar with a long list of cocktails! Theres a DJ, some interesting decor featuring animals and animal heads, and an overall hipster atmosphere at this lounge. Honestly I think the seating could be arranged better. People are turned away because customers tend to stay long in these comfy (large and space-hoggingchairs, yet nobody orders more than 1 drink because of the price. Service is really slow also.

Amazing drinks in a very chill down tempo environment. No smoking - YAY! I am from Seattle and the drinks here are very high end and pricey, just like in my hometown. If you want to experience an amazing hand crafted cocktail in Taiwan this is your place, just know you are not getting out of here cheap.
