Last night, my wonderful husband threw a "surprise" birthday party at the Art Lab. It was a fantastic party and the setting was perfect. I have lived in EL for 30 years coming from SF and Vienna. The Art Lab is the "hippest", most urban and tasteful place in this area. The staff were delightful and inobtrusive but very helpful at the same time. I highly recommend the Art Lab for a party, meetings or any type of get-togethers.

Two exhibit spaces, a workshop and a store all in one. A beautiful space. A community gathering point. (Check out the Friday drop in workshops for $5!)

A friend and I have been coming for Upcycle Fridays once a month. $5/person (or free for MSU studentsfor hours of fun crafting. Staff are friendly and helpful.
