As a rule great food fast service great staff ..popped in Sunday for a quick bite to eat .not busy so I was lucky ordered my food 45 mins later still no food and went to counter ..asked girl if my order way there and she told me she would be down in a min ..I could see my lunch under hot lamp on kitchen counter .how long was it there ?? Got lunch 10 mins later ...staff on this Sunday afternoon was brutal. Sorry but had to review this as it is never like this on a week day

Friendly staff and delicious food,off street parking

Beautiful food and great prices. I had a sandwich on brown bread yesterday. The bread was fresh. My fillings were cheese, tomato, coleslaw. Delicious! With a good size pot of tea it came to around €7.50. My son had a breast box. The chips were fabulous, crispy on the outside fluffy inside. Delicious!!

Amazing food, lovely staff.

The burgers are absolutely delicious! For me they are the best in Tralee, by a long shot (special mention to the "bacon and blue burger"!). However, the "ready in 10 minutes" that we get on the phone for a takeaway is actually more a "ready in 20/30 minutes" in real life. Thats why Ive put "only" 4 stars.

Must have hit it on a bad day,Food consisted of chicken special, with mash,veg was very poor and overpriced for what you receive never mind the frequent trip to the loo for the next few days .Definetly wont be back.

Food is alright. Prices have been risen. Half the staff dont wear masks properly covering their nose and mouth. Real shame because it could be a really good place. Can be rude staff.

Went there to get a takeaway. Person at the counter left the food on the side in a bag unlabeled with the others. Tried to find out which was mine but she refused to answer for 10 mins while she was on the phone. Got home, opened the bag and there was barely any chips and the food was overcooked.Awful service and bad food.This place is really bad compared to how it was a few years ago.Just avoid it, and spend your money in one of the other closer takeaways...

Would easily challenge eddie rockets or similar type of diner. Wonderful experience. Delicious range of real burgers, home cut fries with an array of toppings. With deli and evening specials there is so much to choose from.

Called today, had a blue cheese bacon burger , very tasty.. and we had a choice of homemade or frozen chips, A first for me, but welcome. Will defo be back.

MJ s Diner I have passed on many occasions but will definitely call again .Greeting v welcoming and it was half an hour to closing food lovely and tasty great menu to please all ages and pallets.

Called there with my son who is a coeliac, we were delighted to find out they did a gluten free burger and had a separate cooker for chips,he was delighted, really tasty food and have to say toilets were spotless...Will be calling again

Tasty American style food. Just like you expect of a diner. Lovely milkshakes of all kinds. The Johnny Cash burger is my favorite, a burger with taco filling in it. And the Elvis Dog is lovely too.

Got the mini breakfast and enjoyed it, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Lovely food but it should be up to the customer to put salt on the chips. Chips are served already salted. I had to request non salted ones recently. Please leave it up to the customer to season their own food

Great diner. Lovely food and lots of choice. Gluten free options for my son and vegetarian for me. The vege burger is very tasty and they top it with blue cheese at my request! You can have home made fries or regular ones, the home mades are yum. Big variety including home cooked classics like traditional bacon, cabbage and mash with parsley sauce. They do great milk shakes too and floats - coke or orange, with lovely vanilla ice-cream. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Nice friendly staff. Their home made chips were very nice. The chicken though was a bit over cooked and the burgers although nicely presented and tasted nice had small hard fatty pieces that were hard to chew.

Cute place, friendly staff, but the burger I got had so much sauce on it that it was all I could taste. They were busy. But the shake I got was to die for.

Stopped in for a burger and fries and was not disappointed! Pretty good fish and chips too. Would be a good typical burger shop in any American small town. Nice reminder of home.
