MoreHomey feeling eatery. Delicious food.
Foods are big portion and nice.Staffs very helpful
The food is delicious and fresh..Had a good dinner. Thank you MJ..
Their lamb dishes are good, amongst other western restaurant in Taiping. Clams in white wine sauce pasta also delicious, a pleasant western restaurant to go to in Taiping. Price is affordable for our of states visitor. As for the salad, can give that a skip. Restaurant is wide and seating arrangements are spacious. Can cater to large group. Lighting are also good enough for elderly to see and read the menus. Cleanliness is good. I think it is a family-run business. It is an above average restaurant serving western food.
MorePls edit thr operating hours. We purposely made a trip here but your shop is closed for break. However, Web, store front and black board still written continuous operations.
MoreFriendly family restaurant with good range of choices.
Small town with this standard of culinary skill. Definitely worth 5 stars. I’ll be back for the Hickory Pork Ribs! Tender and soft!
MoreFamily style relax and easy western mix restaurant. The food is delicious.
Excellent local and western food, highly recommend, nice ambience and comfy aircon environment.
MoreThe food is nice and the environment is comfy.
Food is interesting and delicious. I will definitely come back whenever visiting Taipeng.
MoreA simple family-run western food restaurant. We opted for the lunch set + RM5 each (then you get soup of the day + ice cream + a soft drink). The French fries are crunchy, the main dishes and salad are freshly cooked. Taste wise, theyre good and meet expectation. Price is a tad higher but you get to eat in a nice, cool and cosy joint.
MoreNice food , reasonable price and comfortable environment
Great quality food, crispy breaded chicken Kiev and Tasty grilled Salmon with lemon sauce. They also have a variety of western and local dishes. The atmosphere there is calm and relaxing, perfect for people to hangout. The service is great and the owner is helpful and friendly.
MoreDelicious western food with reasonable price. Superb service by the boss.
The portion is big...ok for 2 person but the taste is a bit salty and the drinks is too sweet. Owner is polite and they serve the food quite fast as well. My son did complained about their toilet thou...
MoreSlightly pricey, yet dishes are served with big portion too. Would recommend Mushroom soup, thick texture and yummy 😋
MoreAll food was so nice and delicious ! The price also reasonable, definitely will come back if visit taiping next time 🎈
MorePrompt response in WhatsApp, the boss is very friendly and helpful. Plenty choices and taste good, even my 70++yo grandpa likes it too!
MoreThe foods are super duper tasty! The chef really put effort in cooking😍 The price is reasonable, food portion is big enough! Highly recommended!
MoreRips soft and juicy, food marinated and cooked nicely. Good western food in Taiping but dont expect upscale restaurant services as this is just a cozy homestyle restaurant.
MoreExcellent pork chop, Wild mushroom soup
Big portions. Price reasonable as all 4 items that i ordered were presented well, taste fresh n delicious.
MoreLove the food and environment here, everything is cozy and warm. Could possibly be the best western food in Taiping. Recommended! 🤗❤️
MoreGood food , cozy environment.. their rolled grill pork cordon bleu is awesome ! Very humble and cozy environment.. price is reasonable ..
MoreFor our first day escapade to Taiping, we stopped at MJ’s Cuisine for lunch. I had a Tilapia Almondine (aka fish swimming in butter.... YUMMY 🤤 and Love had a Salmon Florentine (aka creamy salmon). My Tilapia was just perfect. It is swimming in butter but served with lots of veggies; so it is healthy! The salmon sauce was to die for honestly; unfortunately Love declared “The salmon is over cooked!” Ya... Salmon should be a little pinky on the inside to be perfect. So it only got a 3.5 out of 5. The coffee - probably local beans - was not bad at all. Would I come back? Yes!
MoreThe restaurant is clean and the owner is friendly. They serve very delicious foods. I am impressed with the food quality and taste. Price is very reasonable too. Will come back again.
MoreEnjoy the environment and satisfy with their sop. The foods n drinks is good with reasonable price. Hainan pork chop is awesome, the wedges soak the sauce and taste so good! Strongly recommend 👍
MoreThe price might be a bit expensive, but I think overall its quite worthy as the food is really good. I eat like a bird, so the portion is considered to be quite big for me. Environment is very comfortable, suitable for friends to have conversation.
MoreCozy restaurant. Plenty choices of western and asian cuisines. Not halal food. Friendly tauke. Big portion food. Busy during lunch hour.
MoreCozy dining place. Superb portion, fast service, awesome taste, and affordable price. Parking easy to get. Toilet is clean but not so convenient for pregnants and elderly people
MoreOne of the western cussine that serve pork other than Thomas. Quiet and dim but not so dark environment. Service very good and portion very big while price is reasonable.
MoreTried the recommended Hainanese pork chop, the grilled chicken burger and pig in a blanket. All are super tasty. Highly recommended when in Taiping.
MoreOrdered garlic butter chicken chop, portion quite big, price less than RM 20.
Highlight of this review. Ordered black pepper lamb chop RM28. Its so hard like chewing tyre.Other menu just so-so.I do not recommend.
MoreFood that looks good on plate and taste equally delicious..had a very pleasant dining experience in this cozy restaurant..unfortunately most of the menu were not available.. this was probably due public holiday as it was independence day.. but all the dishes we ordered were visually pleasing and tasted just as good as it looked.. seats are limited which is an issue during peak hours.. but less crowd equal to less noise..parking is another hurdle to overcome.. all items are reasonably priced.. recommended to try at least once..
MoreThe Gordon Bleu (porkwas excellent & Gordon Bleu (chickenwas good. The grilled chicken burger was succulent & fried seafood udon was excellent. Only setback no dessert except ice cream. Kudos to the Chef.
MoreNice air conditioned restaurant serving Western dishes like spaghetti, fish and chips, but also have the local favorites like fried rice. Set menu comes with free drink. Prices will set you back anywhere from RM 10 to RM 20 per pax. Not cheap. Servings are on the small side. Big eaters will not be full with just one dish.
MoreA restaurant like home, reasonable price and tasty cuisine. Good team work
Food tastes delicious. Would recommend the Hainanese pork chop (tender and juicy), and the oven-baked mussels (fresh). Price is on the high side for a small town like this. But pretty familiar stuff if you’re from the city. Someone made a strong attempt at decor at this place, because there’s a strange feeling of having stepped into someone’s house and being sat in their dining room... service is brusque and the kitchen is super fast. The cook could do better with serving portions though. We left hungry.
MoreGreat food with great service. The tender pork rib is statisfying yet marvelous. Very old school decorations and comfortable. Not only tourists but also locals gathering place.
MoreI came here to try out the hainanese pork chop as I heard its good. Its pork ya not chicken unlike yut san this place is non halal. The chop was good and portion size was decent. Drinks were ok as well. I tried their signature chicken wings but was terribly disappointed. Im not sure if I had a bad batch or they were not on form but it wasnt very crispy and was in fact salty. I would avoid it. Ambience is decent. Parking here is tight probably worse during peak season.
MoreFood was quite good. Country Pork Chop was good and so was Hainanese Chicken Chop. Delicious and tender enough. For drinks, we ordered water with lemon. They should filtered the water to remove the rather chlorine taste though.Price was reasonable. Place was comfortable.Definitely worth a try.
MoreNice friendly staffs and enviroment to enjoy your meals with friends and family. Price are reasonable compare with other western restaurant. Foods are tasty. Love their pork ribs and hainan pork chop. If u love to drink tomyum soup pls order. 😜their satay fried rice is tasty too! Thumbs up to their foods lah!
MoreSwine burger was disappointing, patty was ground too fine and hence mushy texture. The patty was over seasoned and can’t taste the meat, just the seasoning. Bun was dry and the lettuce and tomato slice could do with some dressing.Lamb shoulder was unevenly cooked and tough. Was not marinated well enough and frankly doesn’t taste fresh, seems to have been sitting around for a while. Hope this insight helps the management take remedial steps to improve.
MoreAs an American traveling in Malaysia I was happy that their food suited my taste. I thought it was really quite good. One dish did have a sweet sauce that I thought didn’t belong there. But that kind of thing seems to be very common in this part of the world. Might want to ask before ordering if sauces are sweet.
MoreDining in cozy environment.Tasty food.Set lunch RM10 for a plate of tasty fried rice and a glass of drink and also a scoop of ice cream. The spaghetti carbonara is creamy and topped with handful of bacon, RM 18. Totally worthwhile.Only downside is the snacks / finger food slightly costly and small amount.
MoreGood food in a clean & cosy setting~ must try their pork chop range~
Good ambience. Usually quite. The workers are friendly. Food and price average.
